35 Questions for Writers [REBLOG from Tumbleweed]

A/n: I really enjoyed reading the questions from Tumbleweed's blog, so I decided to reblog it and answer some of them myself ( ' う ' ). I tag MidnightOnyx, Natocuty, libianno and Amekel.

1. How did you come up with your user name and what does it mean?

It originated years ago when I was elevenish, I think. I was a huge Deviant Art junkie, and would spam cringy art posts and tried to write horrible fan fiction. I had a previous account, and it was called "snowpuppie" because I liked how it sounded. I wanted to keep the snow part, but I didn't know what else to added. I really like pastries, so I then added "cakie" at the end XD.

2. Which is your most subscribed to story?

Outweigh Your Heart. Honestly, it was suppose to be a one shot with selections to choose from. But then my mind got to thinking, and I asked readers if they wanted a story, then there you have it.

3. Why did you pick your user photo/thumbnail?

It looked aesthetic, and then beautiful with characteristic futures that described me :P

4. Who is your AFF bestie?

I don't really have any AFF friends ._. At least, not yet... It's technically my fault because I don't mingle with people irl nor online, but I'm trying.

5. Is there a fanfic that you keep going back to read again and again?

Hmm... Not really. I have this weird philospy of reading a story one time, even if it's good, and moving on to the next. Even in real life >_>;.

6. How many stories are you subscribed to?

Too many. Mostly graphic shops and dead stories... I need to clean up.

8. How many friends do you have?

Uh... very few.

9. Is there something you'd like to write about but are afraid of people judging you for it? (Feeling brave? If so, share it!)

. Good graphic , but not nasty .

10. Is there anything you would like to be better at on aff? Writing, graphic design (posters), replying to comments, updating regularly, etc..?

Writing and updating is my weakness. I would love to improve my writing to reach my audience on a broader spectrum, and frequently updating to keep my audience satisfied.

11. How many subscribers do you have?

Unique: 1275

Total: 1330

12. How many stories have you posted online to this day (finished and unfinished)?

Two finished.

Four uncompleted XD.

13. How many stories do you have saved in your writing program?

Uh... dunno. Too many to count.

14. Do you write down story ideas, or just keep them in your head?

I have this bad habit of keeping my thoughts inside my head, and when I do write down the plotline, I try to write it out I and follow its direction, but then I write something completely off the plotline and direction for it.

15. Have you ever co-authored a story?

Nah, I only beta-read.

16. How did you discover AFF?

I found it when I became a fan of kpop, which was two years ago. I was a huge fan of EXO at the time, and when I become a fan of something or someone, I like to read about them. Which led me to here.

17. Do you consider yourself to be a popular or famous author on AFF?

No, not yet. But I do want to strive to have my stories on the featured list ( • ㅂ • ) and I want to sell book irl that hits high popularity.

18. Do you have a nickname or fandom name for your readers?

Not really...  ^_^; snowies?

19. Was there an AFF author who inspired or encouraged you to write?

Hmm.... One shots writers, I think. I read random ones and get inspired.

20. How many karma points do you have?

6570, I think.

21. What writing advice would you give to a beginning author?

Practice makes perfection. I say, read and model after the ideal stories  ((no plagiarism)) that you wish to write. You want more description? Read stories and copy the description of a character or situation. Place yourself in the author's shoes, and imagine yourself: how would they write this scene? It really helped me improved as a writer. Practice! And allow criticism. PS. Don't harass users to constantly comment, thanks.

22. Do you plot out your stories, or do you just figure it out as you go?

I try to plot things on paper, but when I write them, I only use 1/3 of it! So, I simply flow with my mind and allow my fingers to direct me.

24. Is there a certain type of scene that you have a hard time writing? (action, , etc..)

>_< there's so many thoughts in my head, but I just cannot bring myself to write it. makes me rather flustered, even when I think about it... >///>

25. What story(s) are you working on now?

What Binds Is Together, Outweigh Your Heart, and Miraculous! Tales of Oh Wolf and the Liu Ladybug!

26. Do you plan your next project(s) before you finish your current ongoing story(s)?

Sadly, its a bad habit with mines. I'm only trying to stay focused. My goal is to complete all of my ongoing stories.

27. Do you have a daily writing goal set for yourself?

Try to complete a chapter within a span of a week.

28. Do you think you've improved as a writer since you first started?

Yes. Let me tell you, I cannot bare to read my own fan fiction I've written as a kid. The cringe is inevitable.

29. What is your favorite story that you've written?

Ah, Outweigh Your Heart.

30. What is your least favorite story that you've written?

It's a horrible superpowered, sci-fi EXO story that I had with Kim Jong Un as the main villain. It was pretty horrible that I shoved it in draft.

31. Where do you see yourself (as a writer) in 5 years?

Publishing a bunch of novels under many identities. I'll never publish a novel under my real name, so I use stage names. Blogging, and still writing fan fiction.

32. How many upvotes do you have?

60!

33. What is the easiest thing about writing?

Once you enter into the writers zone and mojo, it's like a black hole. It'll you in and you're lost deep in the woods of your literature. Words keep coming, scenarios are played like movie visuals and you can feel, describe and sense the characters. It's makes everything easier.

34. What is the hardest thing about writing?

In order to enter the writers zone, you have to unlock tons of locks and latches, and that's pretty hard. Consider writers block a huge safe, so entering the mojo will take hours, if not months.

35. Why do you write?

Expression of creativity, relief, expressing my fantasies that'll never happened irl.
