Linkin Park is one of those groups that I actually grew up with and their music helped me a lot during a tough phase in my life. I wouldn't call myself a hardcore fan (or rahter wouldn't have) but I realized today, when reviewing a linkin park video, that I know all their songs pretty damn much, along with the lyrics and I guess you can say I'm a fan...

That aside, Chester Bennington is... was one of the most gifted singers of this time. His vocals had an emotion that is hard to pull off, whether you're in a studio or live and he proved himself everywhere. I was aware that he had some emotional ups and downs, had a tough life in general but I'd kind of fallen out with Linkin Park, in the years ensuing my involvement in kpop, and wasn't as aware about his troubles (death of his best friend, depression etc..) as I'd been before. 

So, it was extremely sad to wake up to such upsetting news. All I can say is that may his soul find peace that he couldn't find on earth, and those left behind find solace, eventually. I will miss him, for sure, as will all Linkin Park fans. 

Let's stay strong and pray for him.
