► Unfoolable and tense: after what happened in her first korean elementary school, Aeri got determined to not let anyone fool her anymore, and she now does it very well, seeing through most of the pranks that anyone ever tries on her. She is an expert in catching liars and will always notice any movement near her. Because she always pressures herself so much to notice anything in her eyesight or hearing range, it made her into a tense person, and she'll get stressed very often. Especially when someone urges her to do better or faster, then she'll get pissed and do it even worse or slower, strict teachers have a contradicting effect on her, and she often does bad on purpose with the strict teachers just to piss them off, then when they are about to reach the limit, she does it amazingly, and they realised they were fooled again.
► funny and witty: Since she was a young girl, Aeri loved cracking some good jokes, and on family parties she was always the one to make everyone laugh with her great jokes and witty comments. She was surprisingly witty for such a young girl, and often left adults astonished. Her friends love her because of that, and she is always the comedian of the friend group. She can even make scary Han Minho laugh, and their friends call that a miracle to .
► Confident and stubborn: Since the start of her youtube channel, Aeri got a really positive response, and that boosted her confidence, and on top of that she had great people supporting her, making Aeri's confidence overflow. She knows that she can rap and has no stage fright at all, and because of that she'll always burst with charisma and stage presence, and that is one of the main reasons the fans like her so much. But because she got a confidence boost, Aeri will often become a bit overconfident, and combined with her stubborn nature, it often causes trouble, because she will always want it her way, and when it isnt she'll become really pissed off.
► Uncooperative and troublesome: with her confidence and stubborn nature combined, whenever something doesn't amuse Aeri, she'll cause a lot of trouble. It is a hell for the teachers and stylists, because she will often voice her opinion and won't stop untill they discuss it with her. When the company would style them as Red velvet, as she always says, they would get into trouble for putting her and her groupmates in garbage. The stylists are dead meat if they will seriously do that. She has a baseball bat to threaten them ready in the dorm.
► Possessive: everyone. has. to. keep. their. hands. off. her boy HAN MINHO! It's her boy, and no one can have him, even though they don't even know about their love for each other. The girlfriends of her big brothers will also be subject of interrogation, but it's not like she has a brother complex. Nahh, those ugly punks can't get her. She's also very possessive over the groupmates and they often complain about it on variety shows.
But then her parents made a life-changing decision. Her mother got a new job offering that was even better than where she was working at that time, but that was in Seoul. Her parents both really loved their jobs and thought they were important, so they decided to go into a long-distance relationship for the sake of their jobs, and while her father stayed behind in Dublin, her mother and her two brothers moved to South-Korea, the country where their roots were. In holidays, they all went back to Dublin, but they mainly lived in Seoul now, and that was a complete change in little Aeri's life, who was only 10 years old. She joined a class that consisted of great friends, not really ready to accept a new person into their clique, and because she was Korean, yet didn't know the habits and language well, people generally avoided her, and sometimes even mocked her. Her brothers were at high school and junior high, so there was no one who could protect her. Out of her whole class, there was one boy who didn't do anything, and always just watched what the others did. He never said a word to her, and was mainly a very silent one. It made Aeri curious, because there was an aura of mystery around him. Aeri often overheard other kids talking about how scary he could sometimes look, and she didn't understand. The boy was cute, he wasn't scary at all, so she thought. She was more scared of the rest of her classmates than him. One day it escalated, and the mocking suddenly changed into bullying. She was drenched with filthy and extremely smelly water with a bucket-on-the-door prank, and while everyone was laughing at her, the strange boy finally dared to stand up against their classmates. He gave a scolding like he was a teacher, it was crazily mature for a 10-years old as he yelled at all the classmates, while Aeri was just silently sobbing in the background. After the boy named Han Minho expressed his thoughts, he lead Aeri to the nurse's office, because she was getting a huge bump on her head because of the heavy bucket. He gave her his gym clothes and was constantly mumbling cute apologies for not stopping them earlier. Aeri was glad that she finally had someone by her side again, and they quickly grew close, bonding over their mutual love for music. While Minho made sleeping his hobby, Aeri had always been fascinated by what she called 'hitting balls with a stick', because she didn't knew what it actually was in Korean, and she was too young to join the club, her mother always said. After that one day of the bucket prank, the bullying escalated even more, and now both Minho and Aeri were the targets, and their parents agreed that the best buddies had to transfer schools.
In their new school, they were both appreciated and the other classmates just accepted them for who they were. Minho and Aeri were able to grow even closer because they had nothing to worry about anymore except for their grades, which were good anyway. The people around them always thought they would become good singers, but the two children actually noticed quite early that they had more fun doing the rap parts, even though it wasn't that easy. They started to practice their asses off, having the kpop dream, being blinded by that dream. They expected to be all fun and good, so they practiced really hard. Aeri was a happy girl doing what she liked with the persons she liked. She was finally able to join the Baseball club when she joined high school and really enjoyed it a lot. While she also really enjoyed rapping together with her best buddy, but her heart was starting to flutter, and because she didn't know how to react, she changed her behavior in front of her young crush, Han Minho. That boy was very disappointed in her, and thought she actually didn't want to be friends with him anymore, so without saying anything, Minho suddenly transferred schools to be away from her, and actually joined the school where Aeri's brother was, without knowing. Aeri grew depressed and regretful, because her best buddy left her without any notice. While her brother kept her notified about how Minho was doing, Aeri expressed her feelings in rapping, starting a youtube channel where she released self-composed songs. She got positive comments and they gave her confidence, but she still missed Minho a lot. As her confidence grew, the missing grew a lot too, and she kept creating songs and covers that expressed her desire to see him again. The heart of a young teenager can be so strong. After two years of no contact at all, because both of them were stubborn as hell, Minho accidentally stumbled on Aeri's songs, and he finally understood what was going on, except for the fact that she loved him, he was too oblivious to that. But he suddenly showed up in front of Aeri's house, and she went crazy, literally flying into his arms. Since then, their bond was even stronger than before, but both had a crush on each other, but didn't reveal it yet out of anxiety. Minho gave Aeri an even bigger confidence boost, and she dared to audition for Sunset entertainment, and actually got in. While Minho tried for a smaller entertainment later on, IT entertainment where he still is a part of. Both of them didn't have it that well, he debuted earlier than her, but it wasn't really successful, and it wasn't really good for his confidence, but Aeri was always by his side, and she was the driving power behind him that kept him going. And now, it's time for him to be the driving power behind her, now that she's finally going to debut, but will the scandals of Sunset entertainment haunt her, or will she be able to shake it off together with her groupmates?
Soori is a brand new professor at a college in Seoul, so he's able to be close to his little sister most of the time. He's really popular among the students and other teachers because of his handsome face and flirtatious nature, making his younger siblings cringe more often than not. He teached his two little siblings how to be so witty, and he's just as silly as them, but also really classy and clever. While Seongri is more the protective one, Soori prefers to just tease and bully his little honeybuns to the point she goes crazy. Not only Aeri, but Seongri is also one of his favourite victims.
Aejung was one of the few friends Aeri always had since junior high, and helped her out when she was feeling depressed about Minho. Aeri also always helps her out and they are friends for life. They often hang out together, eating snacks and often going to try out new stuff too. They also go on holidays together, having went to Japan, France and Italy already. They can't live without each other and Aejung would love to befriend the other members. She is also good friends with Minho and plays the role of matchmaker between them, putting them up for sneaky dates and encouraging them to finally confess after all these years. It was because of her that they already shared a kiss, more about that in the LI section.
He was a friend in high school that admired Aeri a lot for her skill. She admired him for his dancing, but it wasn't enough to make it as idol. When Yonghyun was going to participate in Boys24, they told him he had to take on rapping, and Aeri helped him out. His style turned out to be very similar to Minho's, and it is very captivating and powerfu. They became good friends and through him, Aeri has made some other friends in Boys24 too and they create awesome memories together. Yonghyun is extremely ticklish so Aeri loves to even though he's one year older.
One of those friends that Aeri made through Yonghyun was Woojin, and it was quite obvious that he had the hots for her. He still has, and Aeri at least knows it about him, and always politely refuses. They are quite good friends though, and Woojin is already happy with that. He still dares to flirt with her, even when Minho is by her side, because that's in his nature. That's the only moments when Aeri likes his flirting, because it makes Minho so pissed off and that's just an awesome sight.
They met at high school, where both of them were dreaming the idol dream. While Sungwoon was a senior, Aeri was a junior, and they actually met through a project that new students had to find a senior and do a task. Since then they have been friends. He's a good target for teasing so Aeri does that a lot, and Sungwoon then starts complaining. He was on produce 101 season 2, a show where Han Minho was on too, she openly supported both of them and put Sungwoon as her #1 pick just to piss Minho off, to the hilarity of Sungwoon. He actually got eleventh place and made it. At that moment, Aeri cried tears of joy.
He's Aeri's favourite rapper, and she often goes to their concerts and fanmeets. When Aeri will debut, she might walk into him backstage, and that is bound to be an interesting scene.
