Byeol was born as the youngest in quite the wealthy family. Her parents were true businesspeople, both standing near the top of two rivalling companies. They put career before family, and them being absolute rivals when it came to their companies, put tension on the couple. Byeol was spoiled, to keep her calm, so the parents didn't have to worry about her. Soon enough, when Byeol was 8, they divorced, but everyone, even smart little Byeol saw it coming. She and her sister started to switch between their parents every week, and it was very tiring for both of them. The parents just kept badmouthing each other and all and fighting on every meeting, ruining family gatherings and even weddings and such. While her older sister pushed it away by just ignoring them and being happy, Byeol dealt with it her own way, she didn't want to meet anyone like her parents, so she started to isolate herself and grew into a cold person. The business and hard-working nature of her parents was still pushed into her, so Byeol grew up developing her own dreams, and she was more than determined to achieve them. When her older sister moved to Seoul from Busan to work at one of the best hairdressers of Korea, 18-years old Byeol followed her, and they started to live together in Seoul. She started going to Seoul university, studying Chemistry and dreaming of becoming a well-known chemicist. It went really well and she was always at the top of her class. Now she's in her final stages of her studies and is working as intern in a chemistry lab together with her two best friends. She feels like there's something wrong though. The problem was, Byeol always refused to talk to that pain in the . He always just laughed while having fun and teased Byeol, telling her she had to loosen up. Byeol simply hated Hyukjin, but was curious on how he could make it without even trying, and work so fast, wow. She grew curious, curious about that weird, but quite cute boy, even though she is still strongly in denial. His bright smile just does something to her, you know? It's so bright and adorable, it always brings that odd spark into her heart, but it only makes her even madder than before, because she didn't even want to have that boy in her life. One morning she woke up because someone was softly singing. It sounded close, yet so far. But when she opened her eyes, Byeol saw a small doll sitting on her bedside table, happily swinging his legs. Byeol screamed so hard that her sister almost broke her door, barging into the room. Hyukjin himself didn't know what was going on, and while Chun was cuddling him close and treating him like a real kitten, Byeol was seeing dark things. It was going to be a serious nightmare. But it turned out to be better than expected, at least he wasn't that noisy. Chun suggested he could stay with them, because no one else had to know, it might be dangerous for Hyukjin. So Byeol only told her best friends, and Chun kind of forced her to bring Hyukjin everywhere, in a big bag with some snacks and a little blanket, and she would let him out at places where she's alone. She still acts really cold towards him, and she feels like Hyukjin is seriously spicing up her temper, but he has been able to get out a few chuckles from her beautiful lips lately, and the longer this weird 'curse' lasts, the more Byeol actually starts to get concerned about him, but she's still in strong denial about it, and will get mad whenever her sister or friends with it.
