Personality Traits :
intelligent, resourceful, adaptive, well-mannered, decisive
solitary, borderline suicidal, detached, obsessive, secretive
unemotive, straightforward
byronic hero

Personality :
she doesn't speak a lot, but when she does, hell hath no fury like gayoung scorned. she can deliver the harshest truth with big eerie smile plastered on her face. it's not like she likes to crush people with her words, she just finds no time to do a courtesy talks. she doesn't like using sarcasm because it's equivocal and not to-the-point; she always thinks if people don't like something, they should get to the point and not being ambigous only to sound smart and witty. she excels wearing transparent facade that makes other people are unable to read her. she still exhibits reckless tendencies and impulsive decisions. some observers said her reckless tendency is derived from her "the end justifies its meaning" principle; means she's willing to do anything to get her job done, even risking her own life. gayoung has a very neutral view about life and death; she's the type who won't budge an inch even though a gun is pointing at her head.

gayoung is a very neat person; to the point where it becomes an annoyance to the people around her. she always folds her napkin neatly and wouldn't start eat if she thinks the folding is still uneven. but she's very intelligent and was proven to be a fast learner, much expected from a feared assassin in the underground world. she excells basic skills of an assassin in a year after she first trained. she's also an adaptive person; she always makes plan before diving into the mission; but even when her plans go awry in the end, she adapts quickly.

her father's strict and rigorous lecture also shaped her into a well-manered and polite woman. she speaks with proper grammar and neat vocabulary, she can hold on to conversation, she also knows how to differ a white wine glass and a red wine glass and how to fold napkins in several fancy ways. and at the same time, she also knows how to knock someone out with solely a butter knife and she memorize all of one-hit-kill points on human's body. she's the perfect embodiment of a lady who can kill.

Background :
gayoung was born in south korea, but she spent her childhood in london with her mother. her mother worked as a waitress in a restaurant. though they were not rich, but it was enough for them.

but her life turned 180 degree when she was seven. her mother was found dead in an alleyway and the police said it was a homicide. and before she knew it, a man came to her and told her that he was his father. he explained to her that he and her mother was divorced before she was born and her mother moved to england six months after giving birth to her. that man passed the administration and burreaucracy and legally took her back to live with him. so with just like that, gayoung moved back to her homeland.

when gayoung was nine, she started realizing something was not right with her new family. her father was not remarried, he was living with such luxury that gayoung never dreamed of, and many wealthy and scary-looking men come and go from her father's mansion with their scary as hell bodyguards all the time. and the time gayoung asked her father about it, he answered it directly that he owned a mercenary business; he led a troop of paid assassins. he was running a kingdom under the umbrella of protection by the corrupt government. her father also said that when she turned ten, he would train her to be one of his minions.

and with the rigorous training she had since she was ten, gayoung gained an unlikely skill to kill people. but along with her newfound ability, she lost something too; she lost her childhood. she spent most of her time in the training area. she lost her ability to mingle with the kids of her age. and her innocence completely lost the time she killed her first mark when she was thirteen.

at the age of eighteen, out of curiosity, she conducted a secret investigation about her mother's homicide and was completely baffled when she found her father's connection to it. she also found out her father's involvement in the terrorist activities around the world. her mother was killed because her father suspected her for being a whistleblower.

upon of the newfound epiphany that she just perceived, gayoung started to plan a revenge for her deceased mother. she didn't care a bit about the havoc that her father made to innocent people, she just wanted her mother to be avenged no matter what it might cost her. but then she realized that her father was practically untouchable if she tried to bring him down by herself. so she decided to fake her death in one of her mission, then she acted underneath the shadow and lurked to find a gap where she could sneak and take down her father for good.

Are you willing to go against the government and join a "vigilante organization" to settle your score?  (This group may include criminals, such as murderers, etc. How do you feel about that?):

 min yoongi

Backup : park jimin
Personality :

BAT CRAZY

those are probably the only words that could describe min yoongi. this cold-blooded mercenary is the first choice that everybody chooses whenever they plan a revenge on someone. he doesn't have any reason to do what he does. he does it simply because he can and it's the only thing he's good at. no one can escape his bullet or dodge his knife when yoongi has marked that person. he goes by the name of suga among the underground people.

he's a very sarcastic with jolly-mocking personality that makes no sane person could stand him for more than couple of hours. he loves starting a chaotic circumstances, but he often chooses to step back and enjoys the scene that he ignited without actually getting involved. (chaotic neutral)

How you feel about your love interests plotline :
it's his choice and i don't think i have the reign to give any comment about it. especially since i'm not a saint myself. it would be much better if he could sod off from my life though. - ahn gayoung (23)

First Meeting :

"i thought bishop was more intimidating than this."
"and i thought suga was more refined than this."

yoongi and gayoung met for the first time in a not very friendly way. yoongi was hired to assassinate a political person, but gayoung was hired to protect him. she obstructed his job by sending a bullet to his scope from 500 yards and buying time for his target getting away from his range. yoongi was both impressed and unimpressed at the same time. he was impressed that someone managed to find his scoping spot and destroy his rifle into pieces; yet he was unimpressed that this person obstructing his business.

yoongi was going through hell to get an information about this person because apparently gayoung was very good at hiding. so when he finally found out about gayoung, he spent no time to confront her. yoongi paid a visit to her apartment. gayoung had to admit that yoongi caught her off guard. she was just enjoying her afternoon behind her computer when she felt a tip of a gun behind her head.

gayoung managed to snatch a combat knife under the table before yoongi pulled his trigger and she gave yoongi a good fight for her life. both of them ended up putting knives on each other's throat before they decided to call it a truce. "but don't even think that i've forgiven you about what you did to my target." yoongi said to her before he left. "i'll make you pay. not now, but i'll make sure you'll pay for it."

Current Status :

yoongi doesn't make gayoung's life easier, that's for sure. he keeps his vow to make her pay. he always tries to meddle her job and distracts her; either by accidentally stumbling upon her target when she's about to finish them or just simply by crashing to her hiding spot before she takes action. she's utterly annoyed, but she decides to try to ignore this bat crazy person... "try" is the keyword, by the way.

Love Story &
Interactions :

"you are the worst, min yoongi."
"and you're not all sunshine either, doll."

through his own informant, yoongi found out why gayoung was staying in this dirty business. he found out that she was the offspring of lee jooseok and her father thought she was dead. yoongi thought it was dangerous for her to stay in the business when she involved so many emotions in her works. "any kind of emotions is like a bad omen for our kind, even revenge and hatred." he told her out of the blue.

but she rebutted him and told him to stay out from her business. but for some reasons he couldn't explain, yoongi was staying beside her. by this point, he should've killed her for her distraction on his past job, but he decided to observe her; a choice that min yoongi never made. perhaps it had something to do with the fire in her eyes; something that he had never seen in anyone else, and it was endearing and captivating. or perhaps it had something to do with the calm atmosphere he felt whenever he was around her; a weird and chilling calmness that made him shivered in the most unexplainable excitement. for the first time in his life, yoongi felt unsure about something.

one day, when gayoung found a target that could get her closer to her goal, she became reckless. she miscalculated her prediction and her plan backfired. when everything seemed about to end, yoongi showed up and -surprisingly- helped her to get away. he was cursing and grumbling at her nonstop until her quiet "thank you" took him by surprise. truthfully, yoongi didn't understand why he helped her to begin with. but he finally gave up to think and decided to play along with her.

"i'll help you," he said to her. before gayoung said anything, he added, "you clearly are not capable enough to bring lee jooseok alone. you'll most likely be killed before you even pull out your gun. and if anyone ever has a right to kill you, that should be me. you owe me your life for ruining my reputation by obstructing my job back then. so i'll make sure you're not dead until i decide to kill you."

even though gayoung objected his notion, yoongi didn't waver. he tailed gayoung on her mission to bring her father down. he even went to the extent where he helped her to find informations and shared his informants with her.

yoongi found an amusement each time gayoung grunts and grumbles at him. but at the end of the day, they found a same wavelength and became pretty civil partners. gayoung was clearly annoyed by yoongi half-jolly half-mocking persona, but she finally got used to it. she tried to shrug his pestering most of the time, and glared at him when she couldn't. she hated to admit it, but she started growing a trust on him.

and when that fact dawned upon her, gayoung was afraid that both of them might start depending on each other. so when she was about to reach her goal, gayoung pushed yoongi away. they both might not deserve better, but she didn't want to drag him down with her for she knew that her goal was not different from a suicide mission.

but yoongi didn't buy any of it. he stayed beside her. whenever gayoung asked him why, he would simply say, "i just want to see how stupid can you be and witness your demise by my own eyes."

Preferred
Ending :

"do you really expect me to be able to heal you? to heal us? min yoongi, both of us are just two ed up people who only try to find our own peace of mind in the most twisted way that a human being could ever do. how do you expect us to heal each other?" - gayoung to yoongi

yoongi didn't want her to die, that's for sure. for the first time in his life, he found someone whom he could understand and she could understand him as well. and he didn't want to lose her. for reasons he didn't want to know, yoongi couldn't leave her.

true, he couldn't promise her a happily-ever-after life because taking life is all he knows, it's all both of them know. however, yoongi knows they needed each other. but gayoung's hatred had already been too deep that it practically became the only thing that kept her alive. she couldn't see anything beyond her grudge against her father.

yoongi didn't know how to stop her so all the best he could do was staying with her and keeping her alive as long as he could.

"is there any chance that i might be able to pursuade you to forget about your grudge and pretend like tomorrow is just another day for us? if there isn't, then tell me and i promise, i'll disappear from you presence forever." - yoongi to gayoung

that question was the first honesty that he ever said to her. but until the end, gayoung couldn't answer the question for deep in her heart, she didn't want yoongi to leave her either, but she couldn't stop; she didn't want to stop.

(i really want these two become, like, tragedy haha. like maybe one of them is killed, most likely gayoung. even though yoongi does all he can to rescue her, but in the end, avenging her mother costs her life. but i don't know, maybe both of them deserve better ending, yes?)

   avidari : 8/10 : avi

Last Words :  i love the concept of this story! i wish you a very good luck for this :))

Scene Requests :

– yoongi's distractions on gayoung's work day (like maybe he sits casually beside her on the top of a building and purposedly humming a song or cough when gayoung needs to concentrate for her aim). gayoung ends up shooting a bullet just right beside yoongi's face to shut him up.

– gayoung and yoongi silently listen to (the pianist)'s play. without tearing her gaze from (the pianist), gayoung says to him, "that is the kind of person you need. someone who could genuinely heal you." yoongi frowns at her words, "is that your way to get rid of me? well, tough luck, dollface. i'm staying until i decide to kill you."

– gayoung barged into his father's den by herself. she was nearly killed only to be rescued by yoongi. (but it would be awesome if it ends up like mission impossible 3 where ethan succeeded to get lindsey out of the captivity only to be killed when everyone thought everything was finally under control. maybe a sharpshooter put a bullet through gayoung's heart on her way to escape with yoongi. or maybe a dying enemy manages to lift his gun and send a bullet to yoongi, but  gayoung barges into the line of the bullet and protects him and dies. i mean, it would be both ironic and a pivotal point for both gayoung since she said she won't sacrifice her life for others at the interview section, don't you think? ...you know what? i'm starting to ramble, so i'll be quiet now lol)
