First of all, Jisoo is actually a girl who is full of energy, she doesn't seem tired even if their schedules are packed and even if they are practicing until dawn. She tries to cheer her co-members whenever they're tired using her aegyo and impersonations of other artists and even cartoon characters, but in the end, her members cringes to the highest level. Jisoo is a type of girl who is usually chill and has no worries, she just go with the flow when there's something happening, Because of her easygoing and approachable personality, she meets lots of new people which she actually like to do especially if it's the fans.

Fans know that the girl is really approachable, Even at fan meetings, she does what the fans want her to do, dance? sing? aegyo? She's actually up for it. But her co-members which she dearly love, literally want to smack her head because of her cringe-worthy aegyos. The girl is actually passionate on what she's doing, She does her best to improve her skills since she's aware that she has a lot more to learn. She wholeheartedly performs on stage and does her best but she tries not to overdo it since the other members should be noticed equally. Jisoo, she's actually thirsty for her co-member's love. (lol) Because of that, she usually tag along with her co-members, doing things to make them notice her. Since she really loves the girls like her own family (sisters), she usually help them in cleaning, or in whatever they need to do. She tries and take care of the members like how they take care of her. Plus, she never says no to her co-members since she loves them very much since she never had any sisters.

Despite her, being all cute and cringey, she's competitive especially when playing games and sports, her aura changes when they play, like, from 0 to 100 real quick! She's called as the "Baby tiger" of the group since she is skilled in playing, especially in running and ball games. She becomes scary as if she isn't cute and adorbale most of the time. But her competitiveness is also bad since, she tends to get  depressed whenever they lose. Jisoo, she's a talkative girl. She says a lot of things, even if it's related to the topic or not. She could say any random things that makes her co-members look at her with their "WHAT-THE-FREAK-ARE-U-SAYING" look. Some fans misunderstand her saying that she just talk and talk so that she could have a lot of screentime. But she's just really talkative and random.

She tends to feel bitter at times too. SHe'll sulk and silently feel bad, if she thinks it's unfair, she resents the person quietly unless they ask what is wrong with her. She sings very loud too, plus her voice isn't that good as the main or lead vocals so the girls find it irritating and receives lots of stares and snickers from the other groups, because of that, her co-members acts as if they don't know who Jisoo is. She gets scolded too for being loud and noisy. She imitates artists such as GD, ZionT, and even western artists. No one can really stop even if she gets scolded at. She's impulsive too, she does things without thinking. She'll randomly do something out of the blue because she just feel like it. (wanting to do tumblings, jump down the stairs,etc.) Her co-members tries to protect this girl from doing such random things that could hurt herself or even offend other people.

She's not the maknae but, she acts like she is because of her personality, the other girls needs to watch over this girl very much. Jisoo, she's a very careless girl. She's careless in a way that she loses her stuffs easily, she could accidentally leave her phone at a restaurant's table, or her phone would get thrown since it slipped off her hands. She even lost her coin purse many times! That is why the other girls would check Jisoo before leaving a place asking her if she has all her things or they would hold her phone for her when going out just to be safe. She's also stubborn, like seriously. She could be a brat at some times because of it. If she believes on something, it'll be very hard to change her mind unless they'll scold her big time. Whenever her opinion or decision isn't done or isn't heard by the others, she usually sulk at a side and sigh a lot of times. She's like a big baby since the others looks out for her like she's the maknae and all.

She seeks help from the girls so that she could improve her personality even more, especially her being stubborn and careless. Lastly, she's a clingy girl, she tends to cling to her co-members very much and does a lot of skinships with them. She's like a human lizard that is hard to pry off when she sticks. Sometimes it gets very annoying too.

Jung Jisoo was born and raised in Busan, South Korea. Her mom is a teacher, while her dad is a doctor. Jisoo is actually the only daughter, she has one older and a younger brother. Her life is completely normal and nothing special happened, except the fact that she received bad comments from her schoolmates and the girls who auditions, saying she was ugly to be an idol.

As Jisoo was growing up, her mom joined her in kids competitions (pageant) in their place, wanting to just expose her to lots of people. That is why she became okay with huge crowds and there, they discovered her talent in dancing. She has average grades in school but she really excels in the subjects arts, music and p.e. Being one of the girls who does sports in her school, girls jokingly calls her, "OPPA". No guys was interested in her since she wasn't girly and pretty like the other girls in school. 

During her elementary days, she joined clubs that specializes in dancing since her mom said so but she prefers doing sports, she usually practice dancing every weekends and plays volleyball and basketball after school. Since Jisoo usually comes home late because she's busy in her club activities and school works, her dad made her learn taekwondo for self defense. She met few friends while learning taekwondo and decided to form a dance group jokingly. As the time goes by, she slowly fell inlove with music more especially hiphop and r&b. She realized that dancing was fun and decided to use up most of her free time dancing.

By that time her dream changed, from athlete to being an idol. Her schoolmates knew what her dream is and started saying that she will never be one since she's very ugly and un-girly, she should just stick to being an athlete. She shrug it off and she suddenly became a big fan of BoA since she was very pretty and good in both vocals and dancing, she wanted to be like her too, but she knows that she can't be pretty and even sing like her. She attended dance workshops near their place just to improve and joined singing lessons to learn how to sing properly too. Sadly, as she was performing a dance routine at her school, she broke her leg literally while performing a stunt. She had to stop dancing and doing taekwondo for a while and started to learn how to play guitar from her brother instead.

When Jisoo was already 13 years old, she successfully improved her skill, she wanted to try auditioning in entertainment companies as soon as possible. But they are in Busan, she had to travel and leave her hometown if she wants to audition. Since she's young, her parents didn't allow her to do it. Luckily, her dad received a reccomendation from a big hospital at Seoul, hearing that made Jisoo happy since they'll be settling there. When they moved to Seoul, she started to audition in various companies. Her being too young was the reason they didn't accept her or even because of her appearance. (she looks VERY korean which they didn't want)

She made a few friends at school who wanted to become an idol too. They all helped each other practice and auditioned together. They tried to audition in Big Hit, sadly Jisoo wasn't accepted but her friends got in. She met a guy from Big Hit and eventually became friends with her. The guy and her friends encouraged her to continue auditioning until she get accepted at a nice company. Her parents supported her dream and even pushed her to reach it.

Then, she found the company where her idol, BoA is working for, SM Entertainment. She tried at that company but she didn't get in again, one girl who auditioned talked to her saying that Jisoo has the skills but she doesn't have the face that they were looking for. (She was too ugly for SM). She was very aware that she wasn't pretty like the others, but she didn't lose hope and wanted to show everyone that despite her being mocked at, she'll definitely be an idol. She tried to audition in JYP but she didn't got in again. She was losing hope slowly, but a miracle happened. During a dance event, Jisoo joined a dance group in school and attended the event, she got scouted by an SM staff after performing. When she auditioned again, she got accepted.

Jisoo's style is in between girly and boyish actually, she loves fashion and loves to try various fashion styles. From skirts and dressess to shorts and pants along with her favorite pair of shoes. Jisoo would wear her skirts paired with a simple top, she can wear dresses paired with either shoes or sandals too. She actually jumbles her clothes trying every possible clothing combinations. She never really complains when she needs to dress up nicely since as it was stated awhile ago, she loves trying new pairs of outfits and all.

apperence.  Jisoo isn't that slim or fat, but she has a fit body since she is exercising and stretching every morning. She has firm thighs and . ( It's not big but it's just firm). Jisoo on the other hand, was considered as ugly, having single eyelids, a small nose, she looks VERY Korean. She's quite pale since it runs in their family, her hair is dyed light brown and the length is at the area. She has three lobe and two cartilage piercings on her left ear, while two lobe and two cartilage piercings at her right ear.

trainee life. She got in the company at a young age (2013), it was a very new experience for her. Jisoo was shocked to find out how the training works and how the trainees are very serious. Jisoo tends to chill a lot and tries to avoid getting stressed, but it was hard. Since there were a lot of great dance trainees there, she actually felt insecure at some point too. She got to know a lot of trainees but most of them didn't really like her and judges her appearance. She met Kat and was shocked to notice that she really didn't care much of Jisoo's looks which is why Jisoo treasured the girl. Plus she had a hard time balancing her school and trainings, she was learning language too (Chinese). She didn't have any time to meet new people when she attended SOPA except for the other trainees who attends there.

She observed some trainees who were talented and asked them to teach her some techniques which they did. Because of their help, she actually managed to give her best during monthly evaluations. As she was training, some staffs suggested her to have plastic surgery when she reached legal age out of the blue, she felt bad because of it, she asked herself that, was she really ugly to the point wherein she needed to go under the knife and stuff. She was still young that time, but she just pushed it away thinking that puberty will hit her VERY hard and she just trained real hard just to prove that she has skills instead of looking all pretty but doesn't have any talent.

Jisoo became a part of SM Rookies during 2015 due to her hardwork and patience. Despite being looked down to she didn't let it affect her. But she didn't have any pre-debut projects whatsoever, but she did have videos of her dancing.
