PRODUCE 101 / BOYS AND GIRLS TOP MEDIA_JIN SEYOON
Personality traits
— Humorous, witty, sociable, responsible
— Absentminded, private, dreamy
— vulnerable, regretful, insecure, nihilistic
Personality
Humorous and witty: Since he was a young boy, Seyoon was always the joker of the friend group, it's like he has an infinite box of witty comments and comebacks inside his brain, and even though his jokes aren't always that good, he always manages to tell them at the right timing so they still cause a lot of laughter. Timing makes everything better. When he was in JYP, he was actually on an equal level as Jackson and they were known as the comical duo.
Sociable but private: Seyoon loves to talk and is a total chatterbox, maybe a bit too much from time to time. But the thing about his talking is, he always manages to keep conversations going without revealing anything important about himself. Him training in TOP media was supposed to be a huge secret even to his friends. He is really private when it comes to that, and doesn't reveal stuff about himself quickly, despite talking way too much. When he's nervous, that's when he'll really start rambling about random stuff.
responsible and regretful: Seyoon knows that he has made mistakes, and that him not debuting was mostly his own fault, because he was too stubborn to solve the problems with Wonpil. He will always take responsibility when needed, and also really regrets his choices, so now he's really careful with his actions, so he would not have to be regretful again.
Absentminded and dreamy: When he's not cracking jokes or chatting way too much, people can finally be calm with him around, because he'll probably be spacing out or daydreaming. Whenever he's silent he'll either be concentrating or daydreaming, and he also gets distracted by anything. It might result in comical situations on the show because he might miss important announcements because of his dreamy nature.
Vulnerable and insecure: After the problems he had with JYP, he wasn't only mad, but also became unsure of himself. What if he was never going to succeed? What if he was bound to fail from the start? Those questions rose inside his head, and made him insecure about himself. He is now also really vulnerable to hate comments, so the netizens will probably hurt him an awful lot.
Nihilistic: another side effect from the failure at JYP. He's not completely nihilistic in a sense, because he still works hard for his own good, but he doesn't expect anything anymore and will be like 'meh, there's no chance that I'll debut' and just make the best out of it, expecting to be eliminated soon. He's also not ashamed of making self-depricating jokes anymore.
Background Jin Seyoon was born in a wealthy family, and he was a total blessing. Even though he did get anything he wanted, he didn't act like a spoiled brat at all, always spoke with two words and was a friend of the world, extremely social and happy. He knocked his way up to class president by working his off and was an extremely proud boy. He was also always around the top 5 in his class.. He always loved to listen to rock music, hiphop and whatever genre The chemical brothers is, he doesn't even know it himself but he loves to listen to them too. He wanted to become an artist too and debut in a band, so he wanted to learn an instrument. Out of the usual band instruments, the drums appealed to him the most, and he could sing well, but nothing more and nothing less, he wasn't skilled enough to be a main or lead vocalist. He auditioned for quite some companies, but even FNC didn't accept him because they weren't looking for band trainees, but back in 2011, he got accepted into JYP, back then, the plan was already rising to debut a band, and he was also a really good dancer, and of course he had the looks and the reputation. Even though Seyoon couldn't sing as well as others, he was a fan attractor, he could be the visual, the model, the actor.
Seyoon was really glad, since he was pretty much a fixed member for what would later be Day6. But there was one thing that changed it all. His relationship with Wonpil, the leader and key member of the band. They were both friendly people, but sometimes no matter how much you try, it doesn't work. They couldn't get along despite having no bad feelings for each other, and that was putting a strain on the band. So right before the debut, they decided to drop Seyoon like a stone and add Dowoon to the line-up last minute. Seyoon was mad and bitter, because he knew that JYP saw him as one of their most precious trainees. He was so mad that he immediately left the company and went to TOP media instead, where he would be pretty much safe as they are the king of boy groups. He felt way better at TOP media and could get along with everyone, but Seyoon wasn't as happy as before. Because of the failure with Day6, he became insecure, afraid that his chance would never come. Even though he tries to hide it as well as possible, sometimes there are just those moments where his mask of pride and confidence completely falls apart and he then cries, going to hide in a corner. At first, he didn't support Day6 at all, and couldn't even bear watching them, but after a while, he calmed down, and he listened to Letting go, and loved it. Especially Wonpil, he didn't know why. Yet he still dislikes Dowoon, but it has died down quite a lot, and soon he'll be able to befriend the little drummer boy.
Right after Letting go promotions ended, someone familiar appeared at the building of TOP media. It was Wonpil, who was bringing a special present for Seyoon. A shirt. Wonpil told him that every member of Day6 had one, and that he still sees Seyoon as member. They apologised to each other and engaged in a short friendly chat. Seyoon was confused, it was supposed to be a secret that he was a TOP media trainee, but yet Wonpil knew? How odd... And what was even more off is their relationship as how it is now. Sometimes they seem to be good buddies, then at other times they don't get along again and it is kind of love-hate, confusing everybody around them. Especially now that all of Day6 are openly supporting Seyoon on produce 101 season 3... Just what is going on with this boy and Day6? Time for dispatch to play detective again.

Relations
— Partner in crime / Wang Jackson / 23 / dorky, blunt, free-thinking, childish / Member of Got7 / They were the jokers of JYP, causing a lot of laughter and also trouble in the company and people either loved or hated to see them together. They are still great friends and they love to do pranks and jokes together.
— Best friend / Jeom Gahee / 22 / cheerful, optimistic, blunt, silly / Owner of a coffee shop / Seyoon's bestie since they went to elementary school together. She supports him and openly promotes him in her little cute cafe in the middle of seoul. She loves to tease Seyoon and is the only one who never laughs at his jokes, because she is used to them. When she's nearby, Seyoon will always feel calm and warm and will forget about his insecurities for a while and they really lean on each other. When he is stressed, Seyoon will go to her cafe to get a cup of coffee because she makes the best coffee ever, in his opinion, and he wants to take every participant along and casually advertise her little brand new cafe in the show.
— Potential produce 101 partner? / Park Eun / 22 / you know her better than I do / produce 101 participant / she was the first one Seyoon talked to, and they quite got along, she seems like a really nice girl, a bit of a weirdo but that's what Seyoon likes. Maybe they will become great buddies in the show? Maybe the fans could even start shipping them.
— Just what are they? / Kim Wonpil / 22 / friendly, soft, possessive, messy / member of Day6 / despite being both very friendly, they were never able to get along, and no one, even they, don't know why. They just collide. It used to be way worse, and that's why Seyoon didn't get into Day6, but lately, it is strangely getting better between him and Wonpil, sometimes still not getting along, but they randomly engage in friendly conversations, making everyone confused about how they actually think of each other. The thing is, even though he didn't realise it yet, Seyoon actually has the hots for Wonpil lately. And strangely, whenever someone gets too close to Seyoon, Wonpil will get pissed and jealous. New romance in the making?
— TOP media buddy / Jang Hyukjin / 23 / cheerful, dorky, lazy, messy / member of 100% / when Seyoon joined TOP media, his first new friend was Hyukjin of 100%, their ignored group. Even though he's more of the age range of Up10tion, Seyoon mainly befriended 100% and also Teen Top to some extent, but Hyukjin is his buddy who is always able to cheer him up. When they hang out together, you can notice it from afar because of all the laughter because Hyukjin is very jolly and bright while Seyoon makes the type of jokes that makes Hyukjin laugh the most. They absolutely love each other.

Trainee life He was pretty much one of JYP's favourite trainees and was almost definitely going to debut, being popular in the company and also bound to be a popular idol, but JYP decided to drop him out of Day6 last minute and replace him with Dowoon as drummer of the group, even though he was more skilled. They promised him he would debut in the next boy group of them, but Seyoon decided to leave instead and find a better company, so he went to TOP media. Only a few people know that he's training there and it's a well-kept secret, so when he was announced for produce 101 season 3, people came falling out of the sky, not even knowing that he had left JYP and joined TOP media.
Pre-debut
— N/A, he's a mystery trainee
The fans want him to become this season's visual pick...
But nahh, he just wants to be this season's memelord.
What was your reason for joining produce 101? Because I finally want to get the chance to debut... It has been taken away from me before, so now I'm really determined to get in.
What was your main focus when training? vocal? dance? rap? My main focus is vocal... But actually it used to be playing an instrument. (but he stays mysterious about this)
What class are you expecting to enter in the first episode? I would be really glad to already be in class B, but I think if we use the same colors as the previous season, I think D class would fit me best in color. (he grins cheekily when he says that)
What do you think your final rank will be? I honestly have no idea, it depends on what the fans think of me and how mnet will edit me, right? I don't have any expectations.
Do you think you'll be able to make it to the final group? if so, why? As I said before, I don't have any expectations, I don't want to hope, I don't want to be too disappointed when I get eliminated. But if I make it after all, it would be either because of my visuals, strong stage presence or maybe because I'm incredibly funny. (casually inserts some self-love)
What do you think sets you apart from the other trainees on the show? My sense of humor is second to none!
What song do you plan to perform for your first evaluation in front of the judges? I'm planning on performing Take me now by FTisland! How about that? Survival shows really need more rock.
Are there any final things you would like to say? I wish every participant good luck, and I hope that no one of us will get into too much drama, and that the fans will enjoy the show without causing any trouble. I will also enjoy being here as long as it lasts.
Comments Here's my character! It's possible that I will apply again if I come up with a good idea. I hope you like him!
Scene requests I want Seyoon to be the Jisung of this season, and he would probably cry of joy when he gets into the top 11 too, because he expects to be eliminated in the first round
Password A11O (pronounced Allo? sorry I'm lame as ) and this could be a good debut song even if it's co-ed
