Haru is the youngest of three siblings, she has a twin sister. Hanui is part of twins, who has an older brother and a older sister. Her father works as the CEO of a fashion company. Her mother is an ex-police officer who decided to retire early to raise her children. As her parents had initially ran off because their marriage was not accepted by her maternal grandparents, therefore her mother had to quit the job that linked and reminded her of her parents – she was a police officer.
She had dreams of becoming an idol since she was young, in comparison to her sister. Haru attended a lot of extra circular classes, where her interest in music rooted from. She attended gymnastics from the age of 6, in which she became flexible through this practice. She also partook in classes for dancing, different genres since she was 8. She excelled in street dancing, and being able to make her own short choreography. On the weekends, alongside her older brother, Haru would attend a sports club, her school put on, from 10 where in which they would practice different types of sports every month. In particular, Haru liked the archery classes, she was a member of this club until she was 18.
By the age of 12, her twin sister was sent Siheung, and so it was only her older brother and her at home. She came to really cherish the moments she had and could spend with her siblings, as she grew to understand that you never know what tomorrow will bring you. Whilst her twin was trying to fix up broken ties, she further re-established her love for music. She fell in love with TVXQ and became a huge fan of Changmin. She was the second sibling, to welcome Hyungseob back into the family, and made sure her brother played nice to make their cousin feel welcome.

Whilst Hanui stayed with her grandparents, he made sure she was given the best experience of her life. Hanui trusts her grandfather's opinions and words immensely.
☆ Maternal Cousin / Ahn Hyungseob / 23 / Idol - Yuehua Entertainment, debuted with Euiwoong, and 3 others / smart, childish, humourous / Hyungseob and Haru's family initially were not talking due to the fact that Haru's mother ran off. But that does not mean the cousins went without contact in life. Unlike, Hanui though Haru only spoke to Hyungseob on the phone, sometimes video calling secretly when no one was home.

☆ 'Father' figure / Im Youngmin / 27 / Idol - MXM [subunit with Donghyun]; now has debuted alongside Woojin, Daehwi and Youngmin in a group / Contestant of PD101 / Brand New Music Artist / shy, secretive, sweet, gentlemen / Youngmin is probably Haru's favorite senior in the company. He took her under his wings when she first started out as a trainee, despite having debuted as part of MXM a duet he takes good care of shy little Haru. Despite having to leave the company, she still remains good friends with him. She hopes to meet him one day on the same stage. He is not only a older brother figure for Haru but also her idol world father.
☆ 'Mother' figure / Kim Donghyun / 24 / Idol - MXM [subunit with Youngmin; now has debuted alongside Woojin, Youngmin and Daehwi / Contestant of PD101 / Brand New Music Artist / level-headed, positive, cheerful, self aware / Donghyun is the real reason Haru went to Brand New, but no one other than Woojin knows of this within the company. He was her one pick, whilst PD101 S2 was ongoing, and she had a huge crush on him, so much that she was really devastated to hear that he had been eliminated. She was really happy to hear him, debuting with Youngmin and was ecstatic. WHen she got into Brand New, she was really really shy to approach him, but when she did she not only she find out he had his heart taken by someone else, but she also realised she just idolized him the crush was not as deep or as serious as she thought. Seeing him in person, gave her the aura and comfortable feeling to be around him. Donghyun is Haru's idol world mother.
☆ 'Brother' figure / Lee Daehwi / 21 / Idol - Wanna One; and now has debuted alongside Woojin, Youngmin and Donghyun/ Contestant of PD101 / Brand New Music Artist / cute, misunderstood, smart, hard-working / Daehwi is someone who is often misunderstood, but Haru could tell he was often misunderstood on the show for how smart his ideas were, people thought he was only out to save himself. As he had no family in South Korea, when Haru joined Brand New she made she cherished him and made him feel like he had a younger sister that was reliable and always there. Despite leaving the company and disappearing off the radar for so long, when they remeet through Woojin they continue about their friendship as if nothing had happened. Daehwi and Haru often bicker, but that's what makes them seem like real siblings.
☆ Sister's boyfriend / Yoo Seonho / 20 / Debuted in a group alongside labelmate/ Wanna One's Guanlin / Contestant of PD101 / pure, clingy, warm, loving / Seonho and Haru met through her sister, although at first, he was actually someone Haru was shy to approach soon she found herself laughing at how cute and clingy he was with his sister. She has a friendly rivalry going on with Seonho for her twin's affections. As they are both quite childish they get along fairly well.

Haru unlike her sister, actually got into Brand New Music and was training there for around 2 and a half years, before she had to drop out due to health issues. She took 6 months off, before she auditioned to LabelSJ when she found out through her sister that they were holding auditions for a new group to debut. For her audition, she danced to TVXQ's Mirotic.
Haru wanted to audition at Brand New because, she had watched PD101 as an avid kpop fan, and fell in love with the trainees and the skill they had brought to the table. That was the first ever entertainment she really liked and she became a fan of the company after seeing how their CEO treated them. She auditioned in late 2017, but joined the company in mid-2018 after she was a bit older.
As the twins were practically glued to the hip, since a young age, despite Hanui's disappearance for a few years, they are able to teach other their specialty. Haru is a good singer, just not to her sister's level.
