both of the companies responded to the rumor by denying it. they explained that these two had been friend for quite some time now, so they were pretty close with each other. they admit that both hyunbin and jia were in china together when the photo was taken and they were definitely haung out together, yet hyunbin was there because of his work and jia was there with her familly. they only met once during the time they were in china.plus, the photos posted on her instagram were before she entered the company, yuehua representative added.

relationship : eunki's first impression on her wasn't that good. during their level evaluation, he sat behind the yuehua trainee and sat close to them. the trainees naturally talked to each other while watching other trainees' performance. jia however, sitting there with her resting face and didn't talk to anyone but her co-yuehua trainees. because of that, she came off as a cold girl and many trainees at that time misunderstood her as some cocky girl, and that includes hong eunki.
their relationship started off badly. for some reason, these two ended up in the same group for group battle mission. not known to many trainees, but their group members surely knew there was some tension between the two because an disagreement happened between them. both of them didn't talk to each other until the next day — and that was because their leader asked them to work things out and ended the childish fight between them. not wanting to be such an inconvenient for other members, they made up and started talking to each other again. their relationship though, was getting better as they practiced together. they got to know each other in such short time and realized that both of them weren't that bad. by the time the group battle ended, jia could say that she had become friend with eunki.
jia didn't think of eunki more than a friend — she had a little crush on hwang minhyun (it can't be help when he has that handsome face and a very nice personality. everyone is falling for him). maybe because she had always thought eunki more as a younger brother than a friend, she got comfortable around him quickly and really liked teasing him to the extent other trainees noticed how close they were. the trainees always jokingly said these two were dating and none of them denied it, neither did they admit it, as they knew they were just kidding.
during the position evaluation mission, eunki and haknyeon had a little problem and being close with both them, jia unintentionally became the middle person. it wasn't like she wanted to be one, but both eunki and haknyeon literally came to her and told her what actually happened (like how eunki understood what haknyeon wanted but he really wanted to give the centre position to someone who deserved it, and haknyeon came to her saying how he worried about his dropping rank — which eunki was aware of that and it wasn't only him who was worried about their rank, but the other members too). she told them to solve the misunderstanding by themselves because she too had her own problem, but jia honestly was really worried about eunki and his rank too.
jia would say everything that happened between them probably started out of concern. when jia was getting hate because of her attitude problem, eunki was the one who comforted her. she thought maybe he did it because that was what friends for, and it only made sense for him to be there for her simply because they were friend. what she didn't expect was to have a romantic feeling involve in it. jia didn't know when it started but when she realized, she already liked him, in a romantic way. she didn't know about him but the way he treated him made her confused about everything.
when eunki was eliminated from the show, needless to say, jia was so disappointed about it. it was so unfair to him because jia knew he worked hard but people didn't really see that. even though eunki was the one who got eliminated, but she was sadder about that and instead of comforting eunki, she was the one who needed to be comforted. they still texted each other even after eunki was no longer on the show. as jia lived in seoul, they even hung out together when the trainees were allowed to go home, most of the time they brought kenta or insoo or sometimes both of them along not to create any misunderstanding. eunki also came to their evaluation to support her.

relationship : eunki's first impression on her wasn't that good. during their level evaluation, he sat behind the yuehua trainee and sat close to them. the trainees naturally talked to each other while watching other trainees' performance. jia however, sitting there with her resting face and didn't talk to anyone but her co-yuehua trainees. because of that, she came off as a cold girl and many trainees at that time misunderstood her as some cocky girl, and that includes hong eunki.
their relationship started off badly. for some reason, these two ended up in the same group for group battle mission. not known to many trainees, but their group members surely knew there was some tension between the two because an disagreement happened between them. both of them didn't talk to each other until the next day — and that was because their leader asked them to work things out and ended the childish fight between them. not wanting to be such an inconvenient for other members, they made up and started talking to each other again. their relationship though, was getting better as they practiced together. they got to know each other in such short time and realized that both of them weren't that bad. by the time the group battle ended, jia could say that she had become friend with eunki.
jia didn't think of eunki more than a friend — she had a little crush on hwang minhyun (it can't be help when he has that handsome face and a very nice personality. everyone is falling for him). maybe because she had always thought eunki more as a younger brother than a friend, she got comfortable around him quickly and really liked teasing him to the extent other trainees noticed how close they were. the trainees always jokingly said these two were dating and none of them denied it, neither did they admit it, as they knew they were just kidding.
during the position evaluation mission, eunki and haknyeon had a little problem and being close with both them, jia unintentionally became the middle person. it wasn't like she wanted to be one, but both eunki and haknyeon literally came to her and told her what actually happened (like how eunki understood what haknyeon wanted but he really wanted to give the centre position to someone who deserved it, and haknyeon came to her saying how he worried about his dropping rank — which eunki was aware of that and it wasn't only him who was worried about their rank, but the other members too). she told them to solve the misunderstanding by themselves because she too had her own problem, but jia honestly was really worried about eunki and his rank too.
jia would say everything that happened between them probably started out of concern. when jia was getting hate because of her attitude problem, eunki was the one who comforted her. she thought maybe he did it because that was what friends for, and it only made sense for him to be there for her simply because they were friend. what she didn't expect was to have a romantic feeling involve in it. jia didn't know when it started but when she realized, she already liked him, in a romantic way. she didn't know about him but the way he treated him made her confused about everything.
when eunki was eliminated from the show, needless to say, jia was so disappointed about it. it was so unfair to him because jia knew he worked hard but people didn't really see that. even though eunki was the one who got eliminated, but she was sadder about that and instead of comforting eunki, she was the one who needed to be comforted. they still texted each other even after eunki was no longer on the show. as jia lived in seoul, they even hung out together when the trainees were allowed to go home, most of the time they brought kenta or insoo or sometimes both of them along not to create any misunderstanding. eunki also came to their evaluation to support her.
