ELABORATION the walking encyclopedia as the girls would say, zara has both the beauty and the brains. she's extremely intelligent, is a polyglot and is a huge lover of math - something that shocked the girls when they first found out because, well... does anybody really enjoy doing maths? that's the case with her. because of her inteligence, she has a lot of skills such as coding and memorizing.
zara's very easy-going, chill and laid back. whenever the girls want to do something, she's down to it. feeling bored? she'd immediately send you a link to a movie. you want to go skinny dipping? she's already removed her clothes. she even once flew to san juan just because her dear mama mari told her that she wasn't feeling quite well. she's very loyal to her friends, especially to the girls, whom she considers her sisters from another mother.
though she considers them this way and despite the tight friendship that they have, zara is a very private person. not all of the girls even know her real name. she doesn't really like talking about her family, private life and her past, but more of that later. because of her easy-going attitude, she tends to be a little loud, even on serious situations. she's often screaming when's stressed out, in languages that depended on where she was at the moment.
when it comes to the girls, she's an absolute sweetheart, but when it comes to most people, she's acts the opposite. maybe because she can't trust people easily, that's why she acts very hostile towards them. she has this mindset that everybody's going to hurt her, or that they'll disrespect her, so she acts means and intimidate the people around her. if you're a trip abroad with her, you probably shouldn't stay on the same room as her. she's very, very disorganized. the girls who have been on her apartment in seoul knows this. her room has her things all scattered around - all those cables, those high brand clothes, those unwashed dishes...
zara is very keen on money, and will do everything to do earn some money. to her, money is life. she's even thinking of helping julio with his drug business just for money if she had the time. but being greedy is not even her most negative trait. it would be her conceitedness. she knows that she's hot, and her brain is quite big compared to most people so she often brags it a lot. she thinks that she's always right, just because she's intelligent.
BACKGROUND unlike most children, zara didn't really have a happy childhood. born park yeojin on the 16th of march in 1992, her father abandonded her and her mother shortly after what supposed to be a special moment in a 'family'. she never found out why, or who her father was, because her mother never really explained as she grew into a deep depression after. however, she does remember her mother dating other men when she was younger. still, that didn't help her from her mental illness. she committed suicide, days before her high school graduation and even though they didn't have a super close relationship nor were they the type to tell each other their feelings, it had left her broken hearted to the point that she was unable to say her valedictorian speech.
speaking of school, she didn't have quite the best school experience either. though she was one of those rare students who did enjoy studying, she was bullied during her middle and earlier high school years. she had very good grades and often competed on competitions when she was sent by the school, but was made fun of for being having different likes and for her dysfunctional family. the first trouble that she had caused was when a kid called her mother a lunatic when she was on her freshman year in high school. she beat the out of him, and her classmate had to go to the hospital. fortunately for her, since she's the top stuent and wins on contests for the school, she wasn't expelled from the school.
because of the bull that she had in life, the young yeojin turned to drugs to help her. it was very hard to find in korea as it was illegal so she had to look around in the internet for some contacts, and this is where julio enters. she ordered to him and kept continuing as she grow older. there was even this one time in her life when she was anorexic, as if she wasn't already thin enough.
see why she doesn't really like to talk about the past? but enough with the drama. let's focus with zara now.
as soons as she turn of age, she officially changed her name to zara. nobody knew her real name except for her closest and most trusted friends, nor do they know about her past life. she got accepted to korea national university, the country's number university, because of intelligence, majoring in computer tecnology. she never felt the most happiest in her life until she read her acceptance letter. she even spent a short time in australia to study, but it only lasted a few months.
because of her connections with julio and the drug world in seoul, she had met dangerous and lovely people whom she'd often do illegal things such as stealing and doing drugs. she was the first female member of the gang that she is a part of, and since she is in a university, she's very careful on not to be caught by the police. being extremely knowledgeable on computers, she'd also often hack into bank accounts to steal some money and buy herself the things that she have always wanted as a young child.
her love for learning new things made her want to travel to different places, so she did. she even passed by san juan once, just to thank julio for all that kush and that he had sent her. she eventually meets marianne (and the other girls), and surprisingly got along pretty quickly with her. though she couldn't speak spanish by the time she met her, zara vowed to wow her the next time they see each other, with she did when she invited her on her place five months later. with her motherly nature, zara tends to get clingy with the older lady. after all, it's what she's been craving for - a mother's love.

THE LOVE STORY their relationship actually started way back in highschool, when the bad boy jinwoo meets a troubled teenager yeojin. two people who were completely different in their own ways. yeojin was bright and got good grades, but jinwoo was quite the opposite. he had difficulty on studying, so he somewhat didn't get along with her. smart people pissed him off. to him, they acted as if they were superior than most people. but everything changed once he saw her being bullied. he was never the type to defend people, let alone someone he barely knows, but he did. he defended her, which ended up into a trip to the principal's office for the both of them.
because of this, an unlikely friendship grows between them, especially since they realize they both enjoy quentin tarantino films and video games. with them being school outcasts, they spend more and more time together and it doesn't take long until they finally develop feelings to one another. yeojin finally has a reason to go to school apart from her desire to learn. no matter how cliché it sounded, the 'bad boy' jinwoo is actually a softie on the inside and just wanted some love from someone, much like her.

INTERACTIONS when she was on her earlier teenage years, yeojin vowed to never fall in love with anyone, having seen how her mother's relationships always seemed to fail. she had the conclusion that real love doesn't exist, so she was the most surprised when she fell in love with jinwoo and started dating him two years prior to their first meeting. at first he looked cold and distant back in high school, fast forward to 2017 and all he does is do aegyo as his indication that he wants to . it doesn't work always, but he knows her weak spot, which is by kissing her neck.
their relationship isn't that all perfect either, but they manage to work it out for five years. now a dj and also does drugs, jinwoo has always had her back: from the death of her mother to her transition from yeonjin to zara, and he never plans of leaving her anytime soon, especially since he loves being in between her legs.
