she was born in songpa-gu, seoul, and continues to reside there alongside her mother and father. she holds no foreign citizenship nor does she posses any foreign blood.
upon an interview conducted the 27th of april, na seryoung has made a considerable impression on the following mr. park (guidance counselor), mr. ryu (english teacher), and ms. seo (math teacher) for her neat and orderly appearance and behaviour. her hair was kept straight and orderly the entire time, as her outfit was modest and respectable, in prep style. mr. ryu also notes that na seryoung has an uncanny resemblance to heejin of girl group loona, or kim doyeon of i.o.i.
in conclusion with the interview and current records, na seryoung is a good fit for hwajoong high school. on the reccomendation of several teachers, na seryoung has also been placed in the fast track for board approval, effective immediately.

ambitious, ruthless, secretive, charismatic, leaderly, judgemental, observant, incisive
everybody loves her. after all, she's the star student, the captain of the soccer and the swimming team, consistently ranked #1. seryoung was the first freshman to be elected as the student body president- doesn't that speak a lot about her personality? she's kind and warm, but responsible enough to be one of the most effective student body her former school has seen.
but don't be fooled by her perfect personality. frankly, seryoung is a snake. she's kind enough to help you out but don't forget: there's always an ulterior motive, whether it be gathering information or putting herself to the expectations of a perfect student. there is so much more to seryoung that anyone else could fanthom, a type of ruthlessness obssessed with becoming the best, obssessed with being powerful. knowledge is power, isn't it? that explains her dedication to her studies, the sacrifices she makes to ensure her success.
blame her parents for setting the standards so low, seryoung had to raise them herself. everything she does- it's all in pursuit of what she really wants, and she'll stop at nothing to get it.
but that's what seryoung wants to believe, that she is human hellbent on succeeding because it was the best way of revenge. but there's this side of her she continually represses, born from all of the guidance her parents gave her that essentially translated to, "it's better to be a good person that to be rich." seryoung doesn't want to think about that, doesn't want to think about the guilt from playing everyone around her like a harp- so she won't.

- or you could chronicle her path to realizing that the world isn't as scary as she once thought it was? like loosen up a lil seryoung ur not the prime minister
- either way there's something inherently villainous about her,
- her end-goal is something along the lines of 'be so succesful that i can take down the business that fired my dad' which happens to be a big chaebol business. but she's willing to change plans...

BACKGROUND contrary to popular belief, the villan wasn't born to a deadbeat dad and a druggie mother. no, seryoung's parents are too kind, soft, and warm, to a point where it became their downfall.
her mother was a teacher and her father, a businessman. they lived in relative comfort- the only thing seryoung remembers from this time period is her father coming home late at night, but it was okay. he was a good dad who worked his hardest for the both of them. her mother was her biggest supporter as well, who loved kids so much she worked professionally with them.
but everything changed when her father stumbled across evidence that their boss was embezzling money from them. her father tried to do the right thing, but was fired instead, with a guarantee that he'll never get hired again. seryoung saw what money and greed did to her family that day. she watched as her mother tried her best to support her dad who was desparately trying to find a job. today, he's a rice cake vendor, perhaps the only one with a degree in business and communications.
that was the day seryoung realized how important it was to be ruthless.
she joins hwajoong in her third year- graduating from hwajoong is an instant priority from colleges, even if she's only been there one year. the student body more or less comes to accept her- charming, bright, and witty seryoung quickly makes friends.
CONNECTIONS

얀에준 seryoung would be lying if the thought of yejun didn't scare her at all. though seryoung is ruthless to a point, she does recognize potential weakness, people who could very well disrupt her path to her perhaps ultimate goal of bringing down the buisness that fired her father. seryoung isn't sure, but whatever she needs to do could be easily tempered by yejun.

OVERVIEW move aside, yoon yejun. you're not the only one under the telepathic branch here. seryoung didn't really know what she was doing when she followed ahn suhyun to the restricted area of the museum, which is odd- because seryoung always knew what she was doing. perhaps it was an attempt to connect to the rest of the student body with good grades, establish her friendly and fun persona, she muses.
either way, when seryoung wakes up the next morning, everything is normal. as usual, she's awakened twenty minutes before her alarm because of her roomate who makes it her life's purpose to style her hair to a nth degree, beginning with a hairdryer that wakes everyone up in their room. god, seryoung wishes she could just shut up and go back to sleep.
nothing happens- immediately.
but as seryoung sits up fully, her roomate, seohwa, turns off the hair dryer and shoves it back in her desk, then climbs into her bed despite being in uniform. seryoung's a bit puzzled. maybe seryoung accidentally voiced out her thoughts?
"seohwa, are you okay?"
seohwa sits up, looking just as confused as seryoung. "yeah- but i don't know why i'm in bed right now." the confusion then vanishes as seohwa gets out and turns on her hair dryer again.
what a wonderful way to wake up. seryoung is confused, perhaps for the first time in her life. she makes her way down to first period where the same thing happens- er, people seem to do what exactly what she wanted. that annoying girl didn't sit down in front of seryoung, another boy didn't beg for a pencil from seryoung as usual. maybe today was just a good day?
then the teacher walks in, and seryoung desparately wishes he could cancel classes.
"classes are cancelled." he says in his monotone voice, but quickly snaps out of whatever possessed him. "sorry, what? classes are not cancelled, turn your books to page 93."
seryoung's too frozen with confusion to move.
seryoung's power is initially weak. it's range is very limited to the room only, and it seems to require intense effort and concentration. she can plant thoughts in people's minds, and easily provided the person isn't concentrated. it's probably some form of mind control, except easier to resist. to a degree, seryoung can even induce emotions, but that's easier said than done.
as her powers grow, seryoung's mental manipulation becomes a power of persuasion, only more prey to resistance which doesn't make her overpowered over others. either way, be terrified of the girl who literally has the power to do whatever she wants.
in addition, seryoung seems to have developed some for of mental block. after yejun somehow calls attention to seryoung's voice- noting that it's incredibly unclear and choppy, as if he wasn't strong enough to communicate with seryoung. most likely, it's due to the nature of their skills being closely associated.
she's obviously delighted with the revelation that there's some form of protection, working under pure concentration and mental effort - should anyone know her intentions, she's not sure how they would react, but she knows it wouldn't be good. but whatever- this is the one thing seryoung desparately needed.
