APPEARANCE
children of zeus can be easily indentified by their deep blue eyes that could've easily been mistaken for poseidon's children. but while the offsprings of the water god's eyes are deep and barely glimmering, (much like an ocean) zeus' are bright and deeply saturated, catching and reflecting light like his thunderbolts. alec's got his father eyes and his height and muscles that beocme lost under his mother's build. lithe, lean, and almost stocky- there's only a hint of muscles underneath that t-shirt, enough to prove he isn't that doughboy from pilsbury. though one cannot help but compare when alec stands next to the tree trunks he calls his siblings.

it doesn't matter though, they all walk the same. regal, lean, confident strides and perfect posture. one can feel easily intimidated by his height and the way he holds himself: like you know, and he knows he's better than you and yet, he's still charming. intimidating, almost inviting you to attack him. also, the smirks

one thing he didn't get from his dad: his golden tan. alec's skin is nearly transluscent and much like a ghost with only a hint of color. he has his mother to thank for, and also his hair color- a golden brown colour often gelled and curled over the side of his face.

DESCRIPTION
alexander belikov: he's the star at the center of the universe, the biggest and heaviest object that all the planets, galaxies, other stars, and blackholes cannot help but gravitate towards him. he knows he's destined for great things, and damn well knows that people will always be envious of success.

which is why summer camp is sort of a hinderance of him. why learn to sword duel when he could've done research on the nearly extinct animals in africa for summer? gods aren't real, that's what his mother taught him at a young age. and yet, he's here- forced to keep a smile on his face when the only thing he wants to do is to point to a thousand and one reasons why none of this is real. this is the one thing alec knows he's not destined for.

TRIVIA  here's the section where you're allow to go off and mention things about your character (sans personality/background) that make them unique and interesting. this can be as long or short as you want. some important things to include in their trivia may be perhaps choice of weapon, or even fighting style. or maybe they don't like fighting and enjoy working in the infirmary like most apollo kids. whatever floats your boat, write it here.
SEEMINGLY ADHD AND DYSLEXIA FREE much like anabeth, alec doesn't let his disabilities weigh him down. in fact, it's barely there, barely noticeable. with the help of his mom enrolling him in a thousand and one sports and forcing him to read classics at the tender age of 5, he knows damn well that this is a good college essay topic even if it's never affected his life.
CHILD PRODIGY alec didn't get his nickname for nothing. his choice of weapon is the violin, certified level 8 (the highest possible) from the prestigous royal conservatory of music, he's travelled to other countries just to preform with the russian national philharmonic youth orchestra where he's also a regular member. but if that doesn't interest you, then perhaps his knowledge and expertise in the cello, piano (chopin's etudes are his favourite pieces to play) and guitar. virtuoso, they say, and they're not wrong. give alec  couple of months to learn any instrument, he can already play other instruents at a basic level.

if that still doesn't impress you, then perhaps his intellect will. he's constantly ranked first place in school, teachers view them as their golden boy. he's won a lot of local and some international competitions, quiz bowls, and has even visited CERN.
MISCELLANEOUS
PERSONALITY

CHILD OF ZEUS, AREN'T YOU?
friendly, dimplomatic, sly
incisive, patronizing, charming, two faced
stubborn, judgemental, ruthless, controlling
NO, I'M NOT.

it's funny how alec vehemently denies being a demigod/zeus' son when he embodies zeus's worst traits.

BACKGROUND
alexander bennet is an anomaly in all aspects of life.

first of all, there's that whole thing with, y'know, supposedly being a demigod, son of zeus. key word supposedly, alec's pretty damn sure that his mother has completely gone off her rockers and is mentally deranged. supposedly (again) his father had met his mother thinking that russia was far away from usa and it would be the perfect place to... women, to put it lightly. here comes a beautiful russian girl except it's actually an american expariate from new york and now she's ed both literally and figurateively because by then, a little alec is on his way. zeus leaves a moment later, and that's okay because the only conception alec's ever had of his father is a deranged lunatic with issues of his own and that's why he couldn't be man enough to be there. alec's not too far off anyways.

but again, it's okay. alec is quickly diagnosed with adhd and dyslexia by the age of three but by the age of five, he was already reading light proust and playing a good game of scocer and brandy (ice hockey for russians, of course they named it after an alcholic drink). quickly, the diagnosis becomes useless. he's also the only child to be entertained by storms and cowering away like the rest of the children in his first grade class, the only child to run outside during a particularl strong hurricane that already killed fifteen people and somehow, he made it out unscathed.  so basically, alec is totally a regular kid. he starts playing the violin by six but learns it completely by nine and by twelve, he's already playing with an orchestra alongside his superb grades and natural excellence in the stem field. his mother oculnd't be any prouder. by thirteen, everything changes.

puberty hits.

and that's all that happens when he's thirteen. sure, his violin tutor seems to be on edge every single session and his mother is... odd, to put it quickly. alec thinks they're fighting or something- did his mother not pay him enough? mr. vladstosky was his favourite, the original teacher who taught him since six. oh and maybe, maybe alec starts to see things in the shadows but he knows they're not real. either way, there's a noticeable, sudden shift from twelve to thirteen, as if the world has tilted right on it's axis and everything was off by one inch. that doesn't distract him though, he flies quickly through his private school, through the royal conservatory of music. it doesn't help eiter that this is the year he's started to have more of a jaded view on life. everyone expected the best from him, and so he'll deliver. but the fact that his friends are still making jokes is increidbly childish, and his teacher seems to be doing jack when it comes to teaching them about bernoulli's principle that alec should've probably taken the entire lesson all otgether and teach it himself. alexander starts to notice this nowadays, how's he's fed up with a lot of people's and yet, he continues to smile at them. maybe he's on to something.  his popularity only grows and his success is non-stop- alec nearly feeds off his success, continously having to remind himself that could be the start of his downfall. he's ruthless in pursuing grades, in being the best.

and then he turns 17, which is great. the last unit he has to take for his english class is a unit on ancient greek and he wonders why it took so long for the school to teach him about the founders of modern society. he already knows a lot about the topic somehow when he can't even remember doing the research. then one day, the teacher asks him to read the paragraph about the 1500 year old stone tablet with ancient greek inscriptions. 12 hours later after reading what was on the tablet instead of what the book wrote about it, alec is on a twelve hour non stop flight to new york. oh, there's also that bit where the creatures in the shadow finally lept up at him and he was only saved by his violin teacher, who's not cirppled. he was actually half donkey. who knew his bow was actually a sword? definitely not alec. for a moment, alec is pwoerless. he's very confused, he swears he's not usually like this. demigods? zeus? his dad is a greek god? mr. vladtosky is fluent in english? well, it's a good thing his mother always forced him to speak english at home. he blends in almost perfectly, except on the way to wherever the mr. v was taking him, they get attacked. again. oh, and it starts to rain like some sort of sappy melodrama where the hero finally confronts why his father left, except in alec's case, he confronts his violin teacher and apparently, his satyr, what the was happening and why the it was happening.

when they finally get to this huge camp, half man half donkey guy (alec nearly loses his mind, again) goes up to them only to say, "mr. belikov, you're four years late. mr. vladtosky, come to my office. we need to talk about what you did." but alec holds them back before they head off- "what do you mean i'm four years late? late to what?"

"-late to camp half blood. welcome, kid. it's where other people like you live."

cue the madness. apparently, alec's mother is off her rockers. mr. v promptly disppears (alec's not going to lie, he's saddened by this- mr. v was his closest confidante) as payment for what he's done: keeping alec in the dark at the request of his paranoid mother who still greatly resented zeus. wonder where alec got the perception of his father being a deranged lunatic who probably killed thousands of people? look no further. either way, mr. v must be one hell of a satyr to have kept the monsters away from alec. alec is then quickly claimed by zeus, musch to the amazement of some people. and the rest is history, yet to be written.

LIFESTYLE
this is alec's first year here. he doesn't know anyone, and he's currently being treated as an object of interest because he's the child of zeus, four years late to the party. fun. for the first week or so, he's lost both figuratively and literally. somehow he manages to be diplomatic still, but there's than random burt of "how the is this real. what drugs am i smoking." moment. do forgive him for that- after all, he still needs to get used to the thought of half men half donkey people and, well, being a demigod. he has no powers whatsoever (just you wait) no combat skills, no nothing at all. but he's strong, at least. still, alec attributes that from his years of sport.

several weeks later, and you wouldn't even believe alec didn't join camp half-blood until now. he's found his groove, seemingly. ever the diplomat, he hangs out with everyone and has pretty much managed to make friends with everyone. they all like him, it's surprising. on olympus, the gods comment on zeus' strange son- how he should've been athena's child with his talents and slyness, or harmonia's child with his personality. the sort of overlap and feeling out of place resonates with the demigod himself: even though he hangs out regularly now with wednesday tsai and is even considered part of her crew, he still believes he doesn't belong here. this is some sort of twisted summer camp, it must be. he could've been in turkey preforming with the renowned east-west orchestra but instead, he's somewhere in new york. it's a waste of time, it must be.

but hey, sword fighting is pretty fun, and alec's having a blast learning skills like bow and arrow and fighting. he quickly comes to be the overall- at every nook and corner you can find him. infirmary? he's already volounteered before. hanging with mr. d? yep. that's what diplomats do: they touch base with everything and everyone. daily shenanigans, well- alec's still too new for that, but does breaking up fights when they happen count? people just naturally listen to him, probably has something to do with being the child of zeus which alec will still not admit.

of course, there's also the troubling prospect of home. when mr. v brought alec to the camp, he betrayed alec's mother. she probably knows he's at camp already, but when he comes home- what happens? as much as he doesn't believe in being a demigod, camp half blood (when viwed through a summer camp perspective) is fun. but alec knows he shouldn't want to go back- after all, he could spend his summer on doing useful things, like helping to research about the stability of higgs-boson particles or developing the cure for malaria. alec doens't want to admit it, but he's slowly (very slowly) growing attached the people at camp half-blood, way more mature than the kids at his school. alec's goign to be in one hell of a situation when camp ends.
RELATIONSHIP(S)  friends, family, love interest, etc. i don't really care how you'll format this, to be honest. just be sure to include their name (face claim), age, their godly parent, and relation to the character. if you want a love interest, include it here too and format it the way you want. the reason i am not including a separate section for the love interest because it is totally optional. if you do decide on a love interest, remember to include the basics of how they met, how they act around each other, and etc. you know how it goes.
