35 Questions (originally by OnceUponAnExo) Tagging EVERYONE!

1. How did you come up with your user name and what does it mean?

My first name begins with A, and my last name is Rose. I also love the crystal Rosequartz, so boom, arosequartz!

2. Which is your most subscribed to story?

Hunter's Night (A Vampire!Exo au story about bloodsucker Baekhyun and A hunter aka You).

3. Why did you pick your user photo/thumbnail?

After hearing (er reading) that Baekhyun was going to have a solo, I patiently waited, and when the song came out, his voice was so wonderful, so soothing, and then I looked up the lyrics and I fell in love. The song is beautiful, listen to it, and that teaser photo of him with the flower is my favorite! Mainly because Baekhyun seems like a gentle man, and I loved how that was reflected in the photo so I chose that one.

4. Who is your AFF bestie?

ItsAmivi, Mizusora, taelighted and Kurisutaru_Zora!!! They are absoloutly lovely and aren't afraid to communicate with not only their friends but fans, and please, give them a chance don't be afraid to drop by their inbox and say "Hi, I love your (insert talent here)!"

5. Is there a fanfic that you keep going back to read again and again?

I really don't haveo ne in mind and can't go back in my subscriptions to look. Mainly because all writing is lovely, and I can't seem to pick one that I love more. But I did realize that I enjoy oneshots or short stories. Simple but creative, flowing, writing is what I love best.

6. How many stories are you subscribed to?

212 Wow that's a lot, but I don't regret it, haha! (^_^)

7. What AU do you find yourself writing about most?

As of right now, fantasy/supernatural AUs. But I also love to write contemporary (realistic fiction) , and my story, An Unknown Loss, I think is a good example of realistic ficiton. It's a good story, I need to finish it, but as of now I'm taking a break from it.

8. How many friends do you have?

125. Maybe it's not much but I tend to be like that in life too. I have many aquaintances, albeit, I only have few close friends, however, that doesn't mean I'm cold, but I prefer to talk about you instead of me, only if you ahng out with me a lot will you truly understand me.

9. Is there something you'd like to write about but are afraid of people judging you for it? (Feeling brave? If so, share it!)

I have a spiritual community named Ananda, a community out of many small communities in the world, of souls seeking God or Divine Mother, however you want to call them, and pulling our consciousnesses up the spine. It's not religious per se, it's spiritual, and we do learn about all religions, however, it does lean towards Hinduism, and I wish to speak more of all my spiritual lessons I've learned. I tend to sneak those into my stories, the only one I can think of right now is the conversation in Hunter's Night, where You, Rosé, Chanyeol, Lisa, and Sehun are walking along the beach and are discussing why you shouldn't kill out of contempt, or anger. They discuss how if you do kill a creature, or being, it should be out of wanting to guard and protect those you love, whether that's a city or family, or s/o, and how you should never kill out of hatred, but love. Your role in the story is a hunter. You hunt gone bad creatures at night to protect your city, your home, your family, your friends, your lover, etc, you don't hunt out of hatred but love. Does that make sense? Message me if you'd like me to elaborate further, I'd love to explain what I''m talking about :) <33

10. Is there anything you would like to be better at on AFF? Writing, graphic design (posters), replying to comments, updating regularly, etc..?

Graphics...but what I struggle with is replying to comments, or even writing them. I have difficulty expressing my feelings, for when I feel overwhelmed I tend to lose my ability to speak, and to seek out those words that I'd love to use to express how I feel about your comment or how much I've enjoyed your story. I'm working on it, I really am, so please don't think negatively of me if my comments seem distant.

11. How many subscribers do you have?

515. I don't keep track of the numer, mostly because I know if I do I'll become unhappy and begin comparing my number to other authors, which doesn't bring any sort of satisfaction at all.

12. How many stories have you posted online to this day (finished and unfinished)?

4: An Unknown Loss, Hunter's Night, Pack Threat, and Uncertain Future. Also, Hunter's Night, comes first before Pack Threat, and then Uncertain Future comes after Mark's story. (I'm building a new world)!!

13. How many stories do you have saved in your writing program?

As in drafts??? 3. I write on tumblr. Same username if you're going to follow me, thank you!

14. Do you write down story ideas, or just keep them in your head?

If I remember to, I'll whip out my phone and draft it down on tumblr so I don't forget. However sometimes I can keep them in my head.

15. Have you ever co-authored a story?

In Kurisutaru_Zora's story, Of True Love and Inappropriate Texting, there's a chapter named How To Hunt Down An Idol, and I helped her come up with the idea for that chapter, as well as editing a bit, and I hope you all enjoy that chapter and laughed just as hard as I did when I read it :)

16. How did you discover AFF?

I was desperately searching for larger fanfics to read instead of just scenarios on tumblr. So I discovered AFF and although it's difficult to find good stories on AFF, whenever I do, even if the story is completed or not, I enjoy them immensly!

17. Do you consider yourself to be a popular or famous author on AFF?

Nope! But as long as you enjoy my stories I'm content with that. I enjoy your company and I'm very friendly, so don't be afraid to drop by.

18. Do you have a nickname or fandom name for your readers?

Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh, no, should I? I really should ya know what, I'm gonna do that right now. I've called them cookies before, but if I truly need a fandom name well don't be afraid to send me ideas.

19. Was there an AFF author who inspired or encouraged you to write?

Taelighted!!! Her Running With Wolves story made my imagination run wild! Honestly, anyone who comments on any of my stories are great inspirations! Even just a few words brings great motivation and enough encouragment for me to continue writing, and sometimes I just want something to be real, and writing is the only thing that makes my imagination real.

20. How many karma points do you have?

1954. Again, I don't really keep track of the number for reasons I talked about on question 13.

21. What writing advice would you give to a beginning author?

If you make mistakes, that's okay, all authors do that. Don't be afraid to rewrite and edit your stories. In fact you can never have enough editing because you always have ways to make your stories better. I remember this every time I read over my stories and go "Oh, we can do this or that to that line or word or scene."

Also, never be afraid to write what you want to write. I'm talking about anything ranging from simple fanfic ideas to insecurities to beliefs! We should all be able to express ourselves without fearing what others say. And if someoone does make a snide comment about them remember it's none of their business to bring you down, and their comment doesn't matter. You can just delete it too and replace that negative comment with a positive one in your mind.

22. Do you plot out your stories, or do you just figure it out as you go?

I usually have a general idea how I want my stories to turn out. But I definitly do improvise those plot details ;)

23. Have you ever gotten a bad review or comment on a story? If so, what did you do?

I don't think so. Now what do you define a bad review? A bad comment is different from a bad review. I look at bad reviews as a way to critique my writing and expand my creativity. And I still have to remind myself that.

24. Is there a certain type of scene that you have a hard time writing? (action, , etc..)

. I've been told I'm good at writing them, but I know many people have different ideas about what "good" written is. My ty scenes tend to be more romantic, and playful, and sometimes passionate instead of obscene. Also, this is a little embarrassing to admit but I tend to get caught in my own imagination while writing those scenes (0.o) *smiles awkwardly* so they take awhile to write. I like taking breaks, a breath of fresh air before continueing those scenes.

25. What story(s) are you working on now?

Uncertain Future. It's an NCT story, a sequel to Pack Threat. UF is about the OC figuring out her life as the Luna of her pack, and facing her past dangers, who seem to have come back to haunt her.

26. Do you plan your next project(s) before you finish your current ongoing story(s)?

Always. I've got ADHD and it's a blesing because it's easy to come up with ideas for my next stories. The only thing I have to control is the urge to not get too hyped about writing new stories without finishing the current story I'm or have been writing.

27. Do you have a daily writing goal set for yourself?

No, but I've realize after meditating I'm able to write right after.

28. Do you think you've improved as a writer since you first started?

Definitely. The more you enhance a skill the more you learn to expand your creativity and focus on that skill. My goal isn't to become a professional writer, but to continue learning how to write better stories.

29. What is your favorite story that you've written?

So far it's An Unknown Loss. It's about the OC discovering she's the long lost twin of Park Chanyeol, and travels0 to South Korea to meet him, while also reconciling her relationships with her family and creating new ones with the idols around her, and even love. I haven't finished it, but I will finish it I promise.

I think that's my favorite story so far because I've realized how much of my personality I've put into that character, including the way she views the world. But she's also someone I aspire to be, someone I wish I could be, and I've found a way to learn about myself and mature over the time I've written about her character.

30. What is your least favorite story that you've written?

I don't have one. All stories I've written, even the ones I've written on fanfiction.net are a representation of my growth in writing, and I hope to have time to be able to look back and reflect on my writing.

31. Where do you see yourself (as a writer) in 5 years?

Having already published an original story/book.

32. How many upvotes do you have?

Again, I need to keep going back to my profile because I never keep track of these numbers but 29 votes so far!

33. What is the easiest thing about writing?

Building new ideas and thinking about them.

34. What is the hardest thing about writing?

How. To. Write. Those. Ideas.

But a couple authors have said that to be able to get past any writers block, is to write down that idea whether it's completely crap or not, and sooner or later you'll go, "Oh there we go, that's how I'll write it!"

35. Why do you write?

Because I'm an idealist, and the only way to make my imagination real is to write about it. Because that's as real as it's going to get, haha anyone else relate??

Oooh (❤.❤) I love pink quartz too! I've always wanted to get a raw piece to set on my desk because the crystals are so pretty!!!

Ananda Sangha? I read about that before when looking up some meditation technics for healing (⌒ヮ⌒)

You don't have to have one ヽ( ⌒∇⌒ )ノ but cookies is super cute if you do decide to do it!!!

I'm the same way with meditation. If I can get myself in a zen place then the writing just flows out of me. (^∇^)b
