1. How did you come up with your user name and what does it mean?

Linda is my first name and Anele (pronounced: Ah-Nelly) is my middle name. Lindanele (pronounced: Linda-Nelly) is actually a nickname my great aunt gave me. It makes sense since my first name ends with an A and my middle begins with one. I've always liked it so I thought I would use it as my writing name (it's the same on AO3 too)

 

2. Which is your most subscribed to story?

Dance With Me Tonight with 1510 subs ;;v;;

 

3. Why did you pick your user photo/thumbnail?

Because BTS is my favorite group and I stan Rapperline I had to put them. They happen to be in order of favorites too (Hobi, Yoongi, Namjoon)

 

4. Who is your AFF bestie?

I don't think I have one?? I have met a few people through here and definitely gotten close to them outside this website, but i would consider anyone I've PMed or messaged as a good friend here ^v^

 

5. Is there a fanfic that you keep going back to read again and again?

I don't re-read stories actually. I think only once or twice I've done that. I read new stories all the time (Legit I read maybe 10+ different stories a day, my friends say I'm obsessed lol)

 

6. How many stories are you subscribed to?

On AFF I have 575 but I've read more that were oneshots, plus my subscription list on AO3 is...kinda big too hehe~

 

7. What AU do you find yourself writing about most?

College/Highschool AUs are my reason for living. It's my most comfortable. But I'm trying to move away from that a little bit.

9. Is there something you'd like to write about but are afraid of people judging you for it? (Feeling brave? If so, share it!)

Hmmm. Maybe more hardcore . My s are okay but I'm always somehow holding back. I just want to write one really (is that bad lol?)

 

10. Is there anything you would like to be better at on AFF? Writing, graphic design (posters), replying to comments, updating regularly, etc..?

I used to be great at this but college and life has made it hard so I'm gonna say Update regularly. I really want to do that again.

On AFF it's 16, but I have like 2 or 3 stories from AO3 i didnt post here because they were drabbles.

*Sighs as I look at all my planned stories* If we include oneshots with chapter stories, I think i have over 50 for Kpop.

 

14. Do you write down story ideas, or just keep them in your head?

As an author i'm gonna give you advice; ALWAYS WRITE IT DOWN! Even if you're out and you suddenly get hit with an idea. Pull out your phone and type the idea. Because it can be great and if you dont write it, you can forget it and thats the most frustrating thing.

15. Have you ever co-authored a story?

Yeah! We've all been busy with our lives and our own personal stories though that we haven't worked on the shared story.

 

16. How did you discover AFF?

I was scavaging for sekai fics, wondering where I could find some if kpop even had fanfiction. And then from there was my quick demise lol

 

17. Do you consider yourself to be a popular or famous author on AFF?

Nah~ even with the amount of people that follow me, I don't think I'm famous at all and that's OK! I'm cool with the number of subcribers I have and grateful c:

 

18. Do you have a nickname or fandom name for your readers?

Yeah I mentioned it in my sekai story, 'I Didn't Expect You'. I call them Hopies (Because J-HOOOOOOPE!)

 

19. Was there an AFF author who inspired or encouraged you to write?

It's been so long, I'm not even sure. To write in general there was an author, but it wasn't on this site. It was from Fanfiction.net, when I was hells deep into anime. Yes I wrote anime fanfics before kpop lolll

 

20. How many karma points do you have?

Right now I have 6763. I had more but I bidded for the first time to be on the Rated M Calendar and won (woot woot!)

 

21. What writing advice would you give to a beginning author?

Just post anything in confidence! We always doubt ourselves the most. I say, post for yourself more than for anyone else. It's okay if you're not famous, or have a lot of subscribers, or the best at writing. You write because you enjoy it and want to contribute to the wonderful fandom you're apart of (whatever it may be). Just know you're a part of something bigger and that there's a community who loves what you love too :)

22. Do you plot out your stories, or do you just figure it out as you go?

I used to just wing it. Like I had a general idea for stories but after that I would just write every chapter without really planning it, or seeing the big picture. Now I plan out things. I write down all the interactions and backstories for characters, I have slight guidelines for chapters to make sure that the story progresses smoothly, etc. I found that it really helps to plan it out :D

 

23. Have you ever gotten a bad review or comment on a story? If so, what did you do?

I actually haven't (thankfully). Everyone who has reviewed or commented on one of my stories left nice and encouraging messages.

 

24. Is there a certain type of scene that you have a hard time writing? (action, , etc..)

Fighting scenes/Action- which is why I never write about them~
 

25. What story(s) are you working on now?

Well I've recently completed my Markson fic. So now I only have my Sekai fic. On the side, I'm also working on a Yoonseok oneshot (It's almost done though!), a Namjin oneshot, and a chaptered Yoonseok fic.

 

26. Do you plan your next project(s) before you finish your current ongoing story(s)?

Bruh, always. I can't stop planning even if I wanted to. I get story ideas literally out of no where and I just write the down so I don't lose them. If I could show you guys the amount of planned fics I have lmaooo. The Yoonseok fanfic I mentioned above has been planned out since June 2016. I'm dying to write it though

 

27. Do you have a daily writing goal set for yourself?

Not a daily goal. If anything the only goal I have in a day when it comes to fanfics is to NOT read as many as I do lmao. (Yall dont understand how bad i am with it).

 

28. Do you think you've improved as a writer since you first started?

Omg YES. Listen, I managed to dig up my first writings from when I did anime and wanted to scream so loud. The cringe was so real, it was like an artist seeing their horrible work from their past (Something I actually experienced when I found my old skecthbooks-but I digress). MY FIRST  WAS JUST SO BADDDDD LMAO

 

29. What is your favorite story that you've written?

Hmmmm, it's between 'Please Let Me In' and 'Don't Take My Sunshine Away' (this is the Yoonseok oneshot that's almost done)

 

30. What is your least favorite story that you've written?

I don't really have one??? I guess 'Why Did You Leave (Me)?' because it's the first fic I posted here

 

31. Where do you see yourself (as a writer) in 5 years?

Well for one, I hope I'm still writing. And I hope I developed a lot more, and that many people enjoy my stories.

33. What is the easiest thing about writing?

I think character and world building is the easiest part

 

34. What is the hardest thing about writing?

Being detailed when necessary. Sometimes I feel like I'm too direct with my writing (at least in my older fics), so I want to be a little more detailed when I write and described things more!

 

35. Why do you write?

What other reason is there to write expect because you love it? Even though I'm originally an artist, I've always love writing and was almost a communications major for script writing. I think this website alongside AO3 has giving me a good place to develop myself as a writer. And the community/followers are really good drives or me. They make me love writing even more. So I'm forever grateful!
