1. How did you come up with your user name and what does it mean?

Tbh when I was a wee kid I really liked roses because I thought they were artsy and I kinda just attached -lynn to it. Just because.

LMFAO but fun fact: my younger sis showed me some post (sorry I can’t find the link) that related one’s horoscope sign to their stripper name. Guess what mine (Taurus) was? A flower + lynn. Welp guess I should stop studying to become an engineer and become a stripper instead; I think that’s where my true calling lies.

3. Why did you pick your user photo/thumbnail?

Because my knees become weak at the sight of Baekhyun with brown hair (it reminds me of the MAMA era, my baby, my love).

4. Who is your AFF bestie?

         I can’t just choose one D:

5. Is there a fanfic that you keep going back to read again and again?

EXO’s Chat Room! by lycheeroses. I remember reading it way back when (I know my account is fairly new but I’ve been reading fanfiction for a long time), and I re-read it again recently. If I ever need a good laugh, I go through some of my fav chapters; namely Chat 6.

7. Which AU do you find yourself writing the most?

MAMA AU’s because EXO are magical creatures from outer space and have intergalactic powers. It’s the truth :^)

Not really, no. If I wanna write something, I usually do.

10. Is there anything you would like to be better at on aff? Writing, graphic design (posters), replying to comments, updating regularly, etc..?

I wanna learn how to make pretty posters :D And maybe make layouts for stories (but ew, coding blech)

14. Do you write down story ideas, or just keep them in your head?

I keep them in my head for the most part because as soon as I think of a plot it usually gets thrown in the garbage can. If I really like an idea however, I’ll usually make a blank word document and write some point form notes down.

15. Have you ever co-authored a story?

No.

16. How did you discover AFF?

Honestly, I think I just googled “fanfiction” one day and found it as a young, naïve child.

17. Do you consider yourself to be a popular or famous author on AFF?

Lmfao no.

18. Do you have a nickname or fandom name for your readers?

Well, for Pick Your Poison, I welcome readers to my “crew” and sometimes refer to them as crewmates.

19. Was there an AFF author who inspired or encouraged you to write?

Byullemi wrote the fic, The Single Daddies Club, which ultimately inspired me to write. It’s a shame she’s deactivated her account though :’(

20. How many karma points do you have?

1984 (will write for karma).

21. What writing advice would you give to a beginning author?

I know publishing stuff online can be scary; trust me, whenever I go to make an update I lowkey gotta give myself a little pep talk. But it’s worth it.

Also, plan how you want to start and finish your story. Don’t rush into a story without knowing how it’ll end, because the ending will ultimately help to guide you through developing events to get there.

22. Do you plot out your stories, or do you just figure it out as you go?

A bit of both tbh, sometimes I think I have the plot down but then when I go to write it I’ll randomly throw in characters or events that I had never planned on bringing in oops.

23. Have you ever gotten a bad review or comment on a story? If so, what did you do?

         Not really… or maybe I just didn’t interpret it as a ‘bad review’.

24. Is there a certain type of scene that you have a hard time writing? (action, , etc..)

Comedy tbh because I’m not funny.

25. What story(s) are you working on now?

Pick Your Poison is my ultimate priority. I have a drabble fic called The After School Club, but I haven’t really had inspiration for it as of late. It is a drabble fic, after all.

On the side, I have a few fics I’m writing but haven’t published. One is a Jungkook fic (he’s a florist because he’s an actual flower), a kitsune!Baekhyun story, a Sehun fic, and a Kyungsoo one shot.

26. Do you plan your next project(s) before you finish your current ongoing story(s)?

Well that might explain why I have like 4 fics in the works while PYP is still ongoing.

27. Do you have a daily writing goal set for yourself?

Not a quantitative amount, but rather my goal is just to write everyday. Be it a sentence or an entire chapter.

28. Do you think you've improved as a writer since you first started?

Definitely.

29. What is your favorite story that you've written?

Pick Your Poison because the pirate aesthetic is actually lyf.

30. What is your least favorite story that you've written?

Well I only have two out, so by process of elimination it ends up being The After School Club.

31. Where do you see yourself (as a writer) in 5 years?

Hopefully I’ll manage to scramble through my hell of a program (fack u chemical engineering) and be a P.Eng by then –

Plotting the ideas and flow of the story.
