PERSONALITY:

Shin is a resevered person who rarely talks about himself and thinks of others first, he can be dependable like a brother and always protective towards the people he cares about. Shin is shy when it comes to meeting new people and only keep a professional relationship unless necessary to be more personal.He is strict when it comes to his work and rarely break rules and he is perfectionist, he will work hard until he is perfect and he is dligent; some may say he is married to his work and fashion is his wife, which he agrees and tries his best to not make his work first priorities. Despite being shy, he is very charismatic and always knows what to say.

He is very protective towards his sister and would do anything to protect her, even ruining his image just to protect the person he loves and that is his sister. Shin is also good at keeping his real emotions and thoughts deep inside and it's hard for people to read him. He only express his emotions when he is singing and through body language of modeling.

BACKGROUND:

Shin was born in Wellington, New Zealand to a Japanese mother and a half Russian Polish father; Shin has a younger sister named Nicole who is 3 years younger than him. At age of 6, his family moved to Saitama prefecture in Japan. There Shin gains alot of attention because of his androgynous looks, independently without a company; he appeared in numourous commercials and especially kids magazine. At the age of 17, started learning to classical piano and joined a school orchestra. But his friends said classical doesn't suit him and thought him how to play the electric guitar and asked to join the band. On a band competition, the vocalist got sick and they pushed him to subtitue;not knowing his ability. They one first place and he found his new talent in singing. But he didn't like the extra attention he was getting, he quit the band after graduation and focused on his modeling career. At the age of 18, he walk the runway for Jeremy Scott in Korea and it became viral due to his looks. YG K Plus and scouted him on the spot, although he was hesitant; he sign with YG K Plus and moved to Korea to study part time and hopefully to become a professional model in Korea.

hOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN WITH your agency AND HOW WAS YOUR "TRAINEE LIFE"?:

✩ I have not been in the company that long, it's but about 2 years and 6 months. Trainee life was extremely difficult, as i am trained to be an idol. Learning dancing and singing was something i've never done or i ever imagined i would *laughs lightly* but i think it'll be worth it.

Why did you decide to take part in "pRODUCE 101 SEASON 3 "? :

✩ Well....it's not exactly my idea, but the company wanted me to try to become an idol so they wanted me to kind of test the waters? *laughs nervously* and one reason is that my sister thinks it'll be cool if i join and i do too, so why not?

THIS SEASON IS RUMORED TO HAVE MANY CONTESTANTS WHO ALREADY DEBUTED AND SOME OF THEM ARE ALSO QUITE FAMOUS . WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THEM ? :

✩ I don't really have anything against them, but some may think it's unfair but to me, it's a second chance. I know some people who had debuted but somehow failed on their way to their comebacks so i think it's a great way for them as a second chance.

Do you think you will be Able to be one of the 11 winners of this show ? :

✩ Honestly, no. Comparing to others, i am completely a newbie when it comes to dancing and singing, i think it'll be a challenge and a miracle to be one of the 11 winners for me. But i will try my best! *smiles with fist pump*
