Height: 160 cm

Weight: 53 kg

Appearance:

- Sijin’s not considered very tall, but she has a pretty face to make up for it. Admittedly, she doesn’t really care about her appearance as much as she should, except for the fact that she takes care of her skin extremely well. She has an entire drawer full of skin products! Her skin’s pale, so she burns easily, which is why, in the summertime, she loads up on sunscreen and hats. Well, she wears hats all year round. There’s never a moment that you see Sijin in public without a hat.

Fashion:

- Sijin prefers loose, comfortable clothes. She never really liked tight pants or shirts, but if a concept or photoshoot calls for it, she’s sure to consult the other members. Sijin’s clothes are all mostly neutral colors, so she’ll borrow the other members’ clothes if she really needs to.

Personality:

Traits:

Positive: supportive, focused, persistent, friendly

Negative: works too hard, stubborn, sarcastic/sassy, angrier issues

Neutral: sensitive, quiet

- Positive: Sijin is really supportive of her members. Even if they might bully her sometimes, she won’t notice and will still cheer them on as if they were real sisters. She’s also really focused on her career. She was considered the runt of the trainees in her last company because she didn’t know anything, but she worked harder than anyone else. After coming to Bloom Entertainment, she often stayed behind to practice even when the others left. She’s extremely persistent, and if she puts her mind to doing something, she’d either get it right or die trying. She’s friendly once you get to know her, and she always has a nice thing to say. When the other members are sad, she’ll come to them and cheer them up no matter how late it is.

- Negative: She tends to work too hard. If the other members stay up until dawn practicing, she’ll pull an all-nighter. It’s not so much that she wants to show them up, but that she feels like she’s way worse than the rest of them. (This is why she seems to never sleep except on shows; it’s because she stayed up all night and is so tired during filming when other people talk). She’s really stubborn. If she fights with a member, she’ll hold a grudge until even after she forgives them (forgive, but not forget)! The members found out the hard way that Sijin holds a lot of sarcasm and isn’t afraid to use it. She’ll sass anyone and everyone who annoys her, regardless of age and position. Unfortunately, Sijin has some anger issues. She quit her last company because she bottled up her anger, so she exploded when she can’t take any more.

- Neutral: Sijin’s quite sensitive to others’ emotions. This can be good in the sense that she knows what her members need and can take care of them, but it can also be bad because she’ll be distracted if even one member is feeling bad. Other people’s problems are her problems too. In addition, she’s very quiet. This can definitely be good because the other members tend to be loud, and she’s just there minding her own business, being a good girl. It can also be bad, however, because no one really knows what she’s thinking. This way, they don’t know if she’s mad or sad or what, so they often make fun of her.

Background:

Sijin was born in Seoul. Both her parents are doctors, so she never gets to see them much. Sijin grew up with her aunt, who encouraged her to follow her own dreams. Of course, her parents wanted her to be doctors like them, but Sijin knew she didn’t want to work in a hospital all day. When she was in middle school, a few friends dragged her to Hongdae to see a concert. She absolutely fell in love with the concept of performing onstage. Singing and dancing seemed to call to her, and she immediately told her aunt. Her aunt signed her up to audition for multiple entertainment companies, and eventually, she got into Cube.

Going back to her parents, because they’re always so busy, Sijin tends to not trust them very much. They want her to follow the path that they’ve laid out for her, but they can’t understand that she is her own person, has her own mind, and wants to live her own life. Sijin almost resents her parents for not being able to spend time with her, which leads to her bottling up all her emotions. As an only child, you would think her aunt spoils her. Nope! Her aunt grew up with three siblings, so she knows how to discipline kids.

Family:

- Kim Minjoo (43) | accountant | supportive, kind, energetic

Sijin’s aunt who raised her. She’s a very easygoing person who supports Sijin’s decision to become a singer. She used to want to become a singer too, but due to her parents’ strong opposition, she ended up becoming an accountant.

Friends:

- Chang Seungyeon (20) | CLC | patient, sweet

Sijin’s best friend outside of Wonderland. They grew up as neighbors, and on the first day of school, they stuck by each other since neither knew anyone else. Seungyeon was one of the friends who dragged Sijin to the Hongdae concert and was one of the only friends who supported her dream. They were both accepted into Cube, but only Seungyeon ended up debuting. They’re still very good friends and continue to contact each other.

- Hoen Akemi (19) | student | loyal, hardworking

A Japanese girl who transferred to Sijin’s high school in third year. Sijin and Seungyeon (and other friends) immediately introduced themselves, and they all ended up being great friends. Akemi used to be in a Japanese pop group, but they flopped, and she moved to Korea for a better chance. Sijin confides in her, and she in turn supports Wonderland.

Members:

- Oh Chaeyeon (27) | Queen of Hearts

Sijin dislikes Chaeyeon but puts up with her for the sake of the others. Even though Chaeyeon is extremely terrible to her, putting up with the bullying means that someday, maybe Chaeyeon will be kicked out! Sijin doesn’t dare to hope that, but she does desperately want Chaeyeon to either become nicer or to be replaced.

- Caterpillar (23)

Sijin looks up to her a lot. Her voice is the best, and she knows a lot. Even though she would never admit it, Sijin wants the Caterpillar to someday take a stand and become the new leader.

- White Rabbit

Sijin fights with this member a lot because they’re both so stubborn. The White Rabbit tends to lash out, and Sijin gets mad with her. She can hold grudges against the White Rabbit, although they never last long because of other issues with the Hatter and the Hare.

- Mad Hatter

The Mad Hatter picks on Sijin the most. If there’s one thing that’s admirable, though, it’s that she’s honest and doesn’t make stuff up like some other people. *The Hatter may be mean, but Sijin will admit that the things she says are true. The Hatter's criticism fuels Sijin's spite, so she works in order to leave the Hatter with nothing to say.

- March Hare

She’s the one single person who treats Sijin the worst. Even though Sijin doesn’t often notice when other people pick on her, she most definitely notices the March Hare… and she doesn’t like her one bit. If she could, Sijin would make sure that the March Hare was caught up in a huge scandal that could ruin her career. Maybe she could expose the bullying… hm, not a bad idea. *The Hare exaggerates the truth, sometimes even completely making stuff up. The Hare doesn't care whether or not the things she says are true or not; she just wants a reason to put Sijin down.

- Chesire Cat

Sijin doesn’t really mind the Cat’s pranks, as long as they’re within reason. Of course, most of the pranks are directed at her, and most of them would definitely be banned in school, but Sijin never really gets mad. After all, the Cat doesn’t mean harm, unlike other people.

- Alice

Sijin and Alice get along quite well. They’re both overshadowed by the other members and both works extremely hard, which leads to a mutual understanding and support. If it were up to her, Sijin would debut herself and Alice in a duo instead of being in Wonderland.

Staff:

- Moon Jangmi (22) | vocal trainer

Even though Sijin joined Bloom Ent. before Jangmi, she immediately knew that they were going to get along. Sijin sees Jangmi as an older sister who can teach her all she knows. She’s completely at ease with Jangmi, knowing that she’ll help her in every way possible while still being kind.

- Ahn Shiwoo (27) | choreographer

Sijin’s had trouble with temperamental trainers before, but Shiwoo was honestly one of the worst she’s ever worked with. Nonetheless, she exploded at him once when he was pushing the group too hard, and he left in a rage. She fully expected to be kicked out of the group, although the other members, especially [Alice], assured her that they wouldn’t let that happen. After he came back, he resorted to ignoring Sijin while still working with the whole group. His name for her is now “hey, you”. She doesn’t really mind; as long as he’s not yelling, right?

Flower Girls:

- Caria (19) | Flower Girls

Sijin's close with Caria because, well, they're the same age. Caria's also one of the only sunbaes who actually notices her instead of focusing on the other members. During free time, they like to get coffee together or work on what each other lacks. Caria tries to teach Sijin English, and Sijin tries to teach her Japanese as well.

Stage name: Nabi

Talent Twin: Soojung of Lovelyz

Trainee years: 3

Trainee life:

Sijin trained in Cube from 2013 to 2016. She was to debut with CLC, but the CEO thought that she still lacked in all aspects. Her voice wasn’t strong, her moves were too weak, etc. Seungyeon and the other CLC members tried to persuade the CEO, and eventually, he agreed to add her into CLC if she passed a remediation. Sijin agreed, but it turned out that the CEO didn’t want Sijin in the group at all. He planned to debut her with the new trainees, some of whom had just come in! Even the girls who were on Produce 101 debuted before Sijin did! And this was all after she had put in years of tiredness and training, working her life away! In a fit of rage, Sijin quit Cube and auditioned for Bloom Entertainment.

Predebut:

Nope

Scandals:

2018 – Wonderland’s Nabi Falls Asleep on Weekly Idol! | True

- Due to the fact that Sijin always stays up to practice, she can’t help but fall asleep during her schedules. She did wake up immediately and apologize when [Alice] shook her, but the members and netizens weren’t going to forgive her so soon. She later posted on social media: “I know that you’ve all seen the news, and I apologize profusely. I know that it was extremely rude of me to fall asleep as the MCs were talking, and even though I was practicing late last night, there is no excuse for this. I will make sure that this never happens again. Thanks you for understanding.”

2019 – Wonderland’s Nabi and Infinite's Nam Woohyun Seen Leaving Coffee Shop Together! | True

- Well, okay, this is true. Sijin has no excuse for this, but the truth is, they had only just met in the shop. Sijin didn't even notice him behind her until she was about to pay. He stepped forward and offered to pay for her since she was having a hard time finding her wallet. They talked together and left like that, but they hadn't been doing anything. Bloom Entertainment later stated, "Nabi and Nam Woohyun are simply friends who met in the coffee shop and talked. There is absolutely nothing going on between them. Please understand. Thank you very much."

Interview:

- Hello! Could you please introduce yourself?

o Hello! *waves and bows* I am Nabi, the lead vocal of Wonderland. I’m 19 years old. Please support and love us!

- What are your goals in life?

o *thinks* Well, I think I just want to be a good idol. I want to do the best I can do and be successful with the group.

- Who is someone you look up to?

o Definitely Flower Girls. *laughs* I also look up to CLC because I used to train with them. Oh, also! *claps* Definitely [Caterpillar]. She’s a really great person and always helps us with our problems.

- Any final words?

o *smiles widely* Please give us a chance! I know we’ll do well!

Love interest:

- Kim Sunggyu (Infinite)

- Backup: Seo Sangwon/Yano (Topp Dogg)

Personality:

Sunggyu’s a very friendly person and is always laughing. He’s known for being a good leader that s look up to, and it definitely helps that he’s attentive and notices the small things. He’s the smartest member of Infinite and will most likely always have an answer to any question. He takes really good care of his juniors, but that doesn’t mean he’s the nicest. Sunggyu has a temper and sasses everyone all the time, so sometimes he can come off as rude. In addition, he’s a fairly shy person (though he doesn’t seem like it) and can come off as cold.

Love story:

Sijin always keeps track of the main vocals of her sunbae groups, so it was no surprise that she noticed Sunggyu. She was already a huge fan of Infinite before debut, but she only got to meet him at the coffee shop that she and Seungyeon frequent. He was in front of them, and when he turned around, he recognized both. They exchanged hurried greetings, but Seungyeon told her later that it was obvious she liked him. Sijin was so embarrassed! Later on, however, the manager [whichever one you want] came over after dance practice and told her that Sunggyu contacted him, wanting to talk to her. She texted him, and he replied right away. They talk a lot, and Sunggyu’s easy to talk to, so they ended up becoming close friends very quickly.

Relationship status: friends

Ending: One night, after Wonderland’s first win on a music show, Sijin went out with the members to celebrate. In the middle of it all, Sunggyu texts her, and she goes to meet him. They end up getting drunk. So drunk, in fact, that the other Infinite members have to text someone from Wonderland to come pick Sijin up. Before the members come, though, Sunggyu confesses that he’s always noticed her, starting from the moment she fell asleep on Weekly Idol. Sijin, in turn, tells him that she’s always liked and admired him, and the next morning, after both are sober, they decide to try out a relationship.
