Star grew up in an orphanage for as far back as he can remember [ since he was a toddler]. He has a twin sister who too was left behind. He was able to make ends meet as they grew up, because the church father who had run the orphanage had helped the twins get small jobs when they were younger, this opened opportunities so they were able to get part time jobs. As a small child, Star had been passionate about singing and dancing. More so singing than dancing, so his sister had secretly made sure to work extra hours growing up, so that Star could afford more necessities that were needed to look after his vocal cords.
When Star heard that there was an audition for the chance to debut as a idol in South Korea, he was thrilled he had been learning Korean privately with his twin, and they had always wanted to go where their mother had come from. They only knew this much of their parents, their father was South Korean, and mother Thai. They had fallen in love at a young age, but their mother had them when she was not ready, the twins were actually left at the orphanage, with a promise from their mother that she will be back one day. But she never came back, and so the twins stopped wishing, and decided that they had no one but each other in the world.
Star's twin, Neve Phanthittra Chaonasin, is actually someone really smart, she gave up her much credited scholarship in the USA for her brother's happiness. She declined her dream in order to help fulfil his dreams, and she went to South Korea with him, once he was given a chance to train at Popcorn Entertainment. She got a full time job, with her pre university qualificans at a restaturant working as a chef, as this was her specialist, she made sure she made money to help her brother and give him pocket money. Hence started, Star's 1st year of training.
Star, has always been the one to lend an ear, and this meant that he was able to pick up alot of experiences and ideas growing up. As a trainee, the other members found that Star barely spoke about his own life however he seemed full of wise words and morals, so the boys would tend to come to him when they needed advice. Once someone puts their full faith into him, he'd do his best to protect them and ensures he remains devoted. Despite the harsh reality Star once faced he makes sure he remains loyal to his twin and members [except Sangjae]. Perhaps it has to do with the fact, that Star has always had just his sister and him, he is really motherly and the other members like this about him. He's not just full of wise words but he is also full of love and affection. Star is motherly, this comes from the fact that he grew up without a mother figure, so hence therefore filing out that role for someone else.
Due to the harsh reality of being abandoned as young children, Star is seen as cold at the start, this meant that a lot of the members had a hard time trying to approach Star, although this was just an exterior so he didn't show the others how broken he really was. But eventually, he began to trust s and they all slowly got to bond and so began a new path. Once Star makes up his mind about something, it's pretty hard to convince him against the idea. He can be as stubborn as a mule. Star has a lack of patient, this means there are often times when he is too clumsy and careless of his actions. He has the tendacy to have really severe mood swings, it used to be uncontrollable back in Thailand, but with the help of his sister her love, and the Church Father they were able to control this, although it comes its within his control. His moodswings mostly his bad temper is set off usually with Sangjae acting all high and mighty, or if there is any offhand responses about his family. He is very sensitive when it comes to his sister, for example if he was to hear of his sister being teased or bullied he would become really aggitated and easily prone to shout and hit things. His temple usually does not affect people as in hitting or hurting them, unless it gets severe and out of control.

Where were you on the night of the murder, roughly 11pm to 3.10am?
I was fast asleep, in my bedroom. I was in the toilet, I had a stomach problems that had been ongoing ie diahhorea
Did you hear anything during the time of the murder, that was suspicious?
No, I was fast asleep. I heard something that sounded like someone was fighting
Has Dongjae ever mentioned anything, unusual?
Lately, he's not mentioned anything no
Were you close to Dongjae?
I wasn't the closet to him, no. We merely had a business like relationship.
Did you see Dongjae on the night of the murder?
No, I didn't wake up during the night until the muder had occured. I saw him around 11 when I was going to the toilet.

I have a couple of suggestions and ideas for the motive to kill, its your story after all, but I just had some ideas I wanted to share ^^ : 1. The motive is linked to something endangering his twin?

Author's questions answered:
-Sungjae comes to find out about Star's parents abandoning them much later on, whereas the rest of the 8 members already knew, as Star is close to them. The company too knows about his family background.
-The sort of threats he sents Sungjae is things that were Sangjae's secrets and deepest inner thoughts. If say, Sangjae had done something to even hurt a thin piece of Star's twin [Neve's] hair he would probably be prepared to tell the whole world of everything Sangjae did, no matter what. Unless he did something that would satisfy Star and make him calm down etc. His notes could be death threat notes.
