Why? I Just...Why?

On May 17th a women in South Korea was brutally murdered by a man she had never met in a uni bathroom.

His reasons: "Because women ignore me."

.................................................WTF!...........................WHAT THE ACTUAL ! And this didn't even make top news on TV!

What's worse, even though he's getting an arrest warrant the police said "We're going to look into the crime for more details into the case."..............

There is no excuse for murdering a woman, just because she was a woman, because you're socially ignored!!!! There is and should be no excuse. What's even worse, many others sympathized with the murderer's hurt feelings, and saying she should not have been out drinking with her boyfriend that night, and the crime wasn't even labeld as a male crime against women.

Many men reacted to the articles with comments such as the following: "That's why women shouldn't be out at night" or "What was she doing at the bar?" or "Women have to be careful" or "Women should be nicer," and the last one really pisses me off "Maybe the man had his reasons."

What.......I can't even.........I cannot process how our society lead men into believing they have every right to have power over women, and can do whatever the actual they want to do with women. And each crime for men murdering women that happens in the world are always given some kind of shorter jail sentence because it's usually ruled out as "a mental illness."

And don't you dare tell me and every woman in the world that "We shouldn't be out at night." Woman should NOT have to fear being out at night because of society! We have every right to be out at night and to feel just as safe as every man out there. Don't tell women to be "nicer" or tell us "we shouldn't be out late at night", tell men to stop murdering women!!

This reminds me of the attacks in Cologne, when all the mayor could say was women should dress more conservatively as to not provoke the men. NO. Nonono. They should damn well tell those guys that it's never okay to assault a woman just because they are wearing skirts! But no, all that happened was a bunch of excuses about how it was just their culture and all of that nonsense. Well any ing culture that thinks that sort of behaviour is okay should be challenged and not excused! Ugh. I hate people.

No matter how much the wotld leaders say, our society still is male dominant. People still want a boy over a girl. This is wholly suffocating. Just because the woman ignored him and she has to die so unfairly?

Korean saesangs and haters are also born like this. They happily visit an idol in an airport, idol is too tited to wave and the fan becomes an anti, spreading hate comments.

The man's mentality need to be checked. The girl had befallen a psychopath. And I won't comment about Korean police. A few days ago, an elderly man hit an Italian mercilessly and it was taped by the victim's wife. Reason for hitting: the couple had shouted to stop a car from hitting the old man's granddaughter. Even after being humble, with video evidence, the couple were ridiculed. Racist comments, wife was korean and she was abused to marry a foreigner. that was only one example.

female empowerment? My foot. nothing has changed. Males still get paid more in UK and US. Saudi Arabia kills their female victims and sets the free. For a few loose screwed people the who world is living in unexpected fear. girls are abused by managers and when complained, are send to another branch while colleagues throw him a party with a cake that says "F*** name" Women are committing suicide to escape this harsh world. in the third world countries, they get girls narried at 10 with a 18 year old boy.

as sorry as i am to rant here, this is the harsh reality.

I got progressively madder reading this post. I can't believe people sympathized with him. That's outrageous. And yes, whenever like this happens it's always the woman's fault, isn't it? Woman gets *, and it's probably because she was dressed scandalously and drinking and "asked for it". You're 100% right that women should be able to be out and about as they please. It's sad that they have to be scared wherever they go, and then on top of that get the blame. Can't believe he wasn't properly convicted or that this didn't make top news. Complete bs
