Personality: Minhyuk is a strict and tough person. He has a temper and toleration level low, he dislike people who are slacking off and not putting their effort into their dreams. He gets jealous easily, but not to the extent of being controlling or obsessive, just the right amount to show just how much he cares.  He loves animals more than he loves humans, which is kind of weird since he's a natural flirt, but once you look passed his flirty ways, he's actually a really sweet guy. Background: Minhyuk’s love for music had started from a very young age when his older brother (by 11 years) showed him how to remix his own mix tape for their family store. Occasionally, Minhyuk would joined his older brother minding their store’s DJ booth while his sisters and parents took care of the customers. After his brother got drafted for military service, Minhyuk permanently took over his brother’s role as the DJ. Despite being able to make his own music and having people loving the track he made, Minhyuk had always dreamed bigger, he wants the whole world to enjoy his music. After confronting it with his family and receiving their blessings, Minhyuk decide to audition for YG’s open auditions but he’d only managed to cleared the semi-finals stage. He tried to audition again but again he failed. Minhyuk had almost thought of giving up but with the encouragements from his parents and most importantly, his older brother, Minhyuk decide to try again, unfortunately he didn’t make it either. His eldest sister helps him got on his feet again, when she dragged him to JYP’s preliminary auditions along with the rest of his family members as an added support. Minhyuk was slightly unmotivated during the whole event but he did give his 120% in auditions since his family was rooting for him. He actually walked out of the audition venue in a daze after he cleared all his auditions with an acceptance letter in his hand. He’d only realized that it wasn’t a dream after getting squished by the weight of his 3 siblings and ended up screaming in joy before proceed to cry the whole journey home.
