1.  Spotify, SoundCloud, or Pandora?

It depends.  Spotify usually, but SoundCloud is good for discovering fresh tunes (especially the experimental kind), and Pandora's station-building algorithm is superior to any other music streaming website, so when I want to listen to, say, a variety of blues or anything similar to a specific song I'm really digging, Pandora is it.

 

2.  Is your room messy or clean?

Messy.  Terribly messy, really.  I get overwhelmed by cleaning (sometimes I have panic attacks; it's dumb) because I have an extensive process that takes up a lot of time, which means that I can never finish in one go and get everything perfect, and I need it to be perfect...so I tend to avoid cleaning altogether (at least in my room) because the whole thing is very distressing for me.  I usually just cry the whole time (and I absolutely detest crying, so...that makes everything ten times worse).

Obviously this is a real problem.  I'm trying to overcome it, but it's been very difficult and requires a lot of mental energy, which is something I really don't have most days.  Blegh.

 

3.  Do you like your name?  Why?

My first and middle name sounds quite nice together, so yeah.  But really, I'm just grateful my brother vetoed Alexis on the grounds that he didn't want his baby sister named after a car XD (I knew a girl named Alexis in kindergarten.  Hated her.  She absolutely ruined the name for me.)

Eclectic.  Maybe a little grungy.  And in the words of my cousin, "alternative feminine," which is actually a pretty good way of describing it.

Well, ideally I'd like to travel extensively and live in lots of different places...but I'm really fond of Cancun.  So maybe there.  All the people I met and interacted with were absolutely lovely, and my chronic pain was soooo much better there despite the climate being the same as where I live *shrug*

Lol.  Uhhhh...that aren't related to me?  Maybe two or three IRL ones and a fair number online.  But I quite honestly don't hang out with any of my IRL friends except maybe twice a year, and I don't even hang out with my folks all that much, either.  I'm a very isolated person, really.

Oh man.  Hmmm.  It's a mood thing, really, but I really love cool, complex, masculine scents.  Like my cousin got me a candle for Christmas this past year that smells exactly like a good man should and I just—mmm.  I'm also a for anything that has notes of mint, coconut, or amber.  But honestly I just like scents that are different and complex.  I like strange combinations which most people would never put together but that work.  Generic scents like clean linen are boring to me.  They don't liven the senses, and they never reflect the mood I'm in.

• I can't stand it when someone crinkles plastic paper (like a chip bag) for longer than two seconds.
• There's this thing my sister does where she puts one fingernail underneath another and scrapes them together.  I can't STAND the noise it makes.

• The sound of my grandpa sneezing.
• The sound of my grandpa singing the same old hymn incessantly.
