SIX REASONS TO STAN DAY6

SOME BACKGROUND INFO BEFORE WE BEGIN

DAY6 (Hangul: 데이식스) is a South Korean rock band formed by JYP Entertainment. The band's current line-up consists of five members: Jae, Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon. The band debuted with releasing their first EP, The Day on September 7, 2015.

Take notes, sweetie! What have you learned so far? DAY6 is from JYP.ent, one of the Big Three Agencies. Check! They made their debut two year ago. Check! How come you didn't know them? Check. Okay, let's continue.

REASON NO. 1: QUALITY MUSIC AND MVS

Name a song that you hated/disliked? Bet you're thinking on that one way too hard, huh? Thing is, everything about DAY6 is QUALITY. There is no such thing as 'bad music' in the Sunday fandom. Cool, right?

Nothing about waiting for them to freaking comeback is regretful. DAY6 gives you quality on the way, whether it be on the music video itself or the songs. Side note: DAY6 had written some of the songs in their albums. If I clearly remember, they wrote all the songs on 'The Day' album. Correct me if I'm wrong on this one, I am quite forgetful.

REASON NO. 2: VISUALS

All DAY6 members are handsome, no kidding. I mean, they all got the visuals like damn. Jae looks like a handsome and cooler version of Chicken Little, Brian looks so charismatic, Dowoon is adorably cute, Wonpil's jawline has its own fandom (and is pretty much sharper than my thinking) and Sungjin looks like a bunny rabbit. Haha, they are all good looking in their own way. Look at the visuals below.

REASON NO. 3: SUNGJIN AND HIS GOLDEN VOICE + YOUNG.K'S VARIETY OF TALENTS

We're gonna squish two reasons into one because I only said six reasons, and the first two are already too much to take in. Anyway, to give you a headstart, I'll tell you these two lovable members' basic info:

Sungjin (성진) was born Park Sung-jin (박성진) on January 16, 1993 (age 24) – leader, main vocalist, rhythm guitarist.

Young K (영케이) was born Kang Young-hyun (강영현) on December 19, 1993 (age 23) – bassist, vocalist, rapper. (Side Note: YoungK is also known as "Brian")

Sungjin is the main vocalist of the group. Here are some covers you should listen to:

It's a bit hard to find more videos because frankly, they're underrated. And second, it's hard to surf Youtube when it's malfunctioning. So yeah, interested so far? Let's see YoungK's next!

YoungK is more of a rapper, but he's a vocalist as well. A fun fact about him is that he's active even before debut, even getting a few feats from popular songs we know today. Let's check this feats out!

REASON NO. 4: DOWOON'S [ALWAYS] AWAITED SINGING, SMILE AND AEGYO + WONPIL'S FANDOM

Dowoon and Wonpil are the next members to be discussed! Before we start [again], lemme give you the basic information about them:

Wonpil (원필) was born Kim Won-pil (김원필) on April 28, 1994 (age 22) – synthesizer, keyboard, vocalist.

Dowoon (도운) was born Yoon Do-woon (윤도운) on August 25, 1995 (age 21) – drummer.

Wonpil is a vocalist responsible for the synthesizer in the band. Former member Junhyeok is originally responsible for keyboard but since his departure, Wonpil had taken on the role. 

I'm here to actually promote Wonpil's fandom but let's promote his talent first! This is a singing compilation of the lovable Wonpil:

Now that that's done, let's promote this mysterious fandom. A lot of you maybe aren't aware, but Wonpil's jawline has its own fandom! Clearly, it's sharper than my thinking. Wait- need some proof? This video might do the trick!

Dowoon doesn't sing much since his role in the band is only a drummer and DAY6 isn't an idol band. They're artists so everyone isn't oblidge to sing. However, if there is one thing Sundays always want, it's to hear Dowoon sing! We think this gullible cutie has an amazing voice! Here is a singing compilation of adorableness:
