She was taught Korean for the first three years of her life, and before she started to attend Hogwarts she'd spend January through March with her mother where she was taught Korean. Her mother never speaks to her in English.

APPEARANCE Our lovely Mocha Lee has a total of six ear piercings and she's proud of them. She even got a belly button piercing but she keeps it hidden. Mostly because she went behind her father's back and had her mom do it. At school she's mostly wearing her robes so~ She only shows it when she's in Korea, and even then, still rarely. Mocha's hands are very calloused and always covered in various cuts and scars. She also has a scar on her lower right side from where she had her appendix removed at ten years old. She likes to keep her hair brown, but dyes it various shades. Most recently she's made it nearly blonde but not quite so. Mocha gets a lot more coffee jokes than she would have already thanks to her hair color. Mocha really likes to style her hair, like really does and her hair is pretty and a different style every morning. Even if she has to wake up at two a.m. before they leave to get it done, she will. FASHION There's no real way to describe what in hell Mocha Lee's style is not only when blending in but just when she's not at school. Can it even be considered a style? She buys whatever she thinks looks cute and then throws it on. Sometimes the results are good, other times, not so much. There's literally nothing uniform about what she wears. She definitely does like sweaters, cute things, shorts, and skirts though. But that's literally all we can really say about what she wears. Oh, and speaking of uniformity, ha. She wears a mix of Korean and more Western styles and it's really confusing to whoever sees her. High-waisted skirts and shorts, tucked-in but also fluffed out (???) tops, pastels and darks, long-sleeved and half-sleeved and short-sleeved, sweaters and button-ups and T-shirts, it really doesn't make sense. Blip on responsibility: Mocha is responsible with her work, social life, pet, and family. She takes care of what she needs to and does it on time. Mocha isn't the type to leave her things behind or put work off. She will always take responsibility for her actions.
Blip on Hurried: She's the type that always seems to be in a hurry. She doesn't take a moment's rest and is always doing something. At some point Mocha defintiely will run herself down...
Blip on Uncreative: It's not like she's..Boring or anything. Mocha just has a very conventional way of thinking and thus many of her ideas are typical and already-seen. She certainly won't be the one to come up with an ingenious, amazing plan unless it's structured and based on abilities, not possibilities.
Blip on Alert: Mocha is always paying attention to her surroudings- Nohing escapes her. She'll be the first no notice a change in someone on the team and if something is wrong, she'll feel it. This girl will always just...Know.
Blip on Casual: Well, she just is. With even authority Mocha is relaxed and speaks informally. Her dad is very close with her and her mom never taught her respect so she'll always speaks to others like they've known each other for years. Some people are grateful, others find it charming, and some hate it. It depends on each person.
Blip on Pushover: This isn't exactly easy to explain and so pushoever may not be the best word. If someone asks Mocha to do something, or for something, then she'll do it, purely because it will make life easier for the other person. She doesn't say no. Mocha can bury herself in people's hopeful promises, feeling others’ problems as her own and striving much too hard for them. If she's not careful, Mocha will spread herself too thin and not be able to help anyone.
Blip on Enthusiastic: Mocha loves to do things. She loves to have new experiences and is always excited to do just about anything, even if she's already done it before. The world and what it can offer truly excites her and people can feel her enthusiasm. She's not one to look at a situaiton and worry about where it can go wrong. She naturally cheers others up with this enthusiasm.
Blip on Obstinate: Long story short, Mocha wants things to go her way and doesn't expect it to go otherwise. In another word she might be a bit controlling, but really she just has a hard time letting go of her ideals. She doesn't take a look at other people's thoughts on a lot of things and has a tough time convincing herself to change her mind. It's not spoiled, just a simply lack of understanding in a way.
Blip on Overconfident: Mocha thinks highly of herself, she does. Too the point of too much. People get annoyed if she compliments herself because she can be found to do it a lot.
Blip on Sensitive: That being said, the high confidence can be torn down terribly easy. If Mocha is unable to comlpete a goal she set for herself, or a promise for someone else, it completely shatters her confidence. She's always so eager to take on new projects, not saying no, confident she can do it, so when she doesn't it ruins her. A flippant comment can really hurt her. She doesn't take criticism well, especially from people she really respects.


BACKGROUND Mocha Lee, who is also named Lee Myungsoon, was born on a musty May morning. The conversation about naming her went like so:

"Mocha, Mocha Lee is perfect! It's so cute and like mocha is the best thing that happened to the Earth and-"
"Callum Muir that's the worst name I've ever heard. I'm naming her Myungsoon."
"Jiae, Mocha is awesome! Myungsoon is ugly."
"You're ugly, you idiotic Scot. Now get the hell out of my room."
"Complaining as always, I see. Whatever, you damned jakey."

So her parents weren't exactly friendly to each other. You see, Mocha's father Callum was a wizard of fine blood and achievements. After turning twenty he decided to travel to see what the Muggle world was like. One of his first stops was in South Korea where he resided in a multi-family home. There he met Lee Jiae, Mocha's mother. She lived in one half of the house with her friends where Callum lived with his elder sister Mae. Mae left a few months later but Callum was too enraptured with South Korea to go with her. Jiae helped teach him Korean until he was fluent, and through that they formed a well, not a friendship, but a mutual tolerance. One night Callum had a party, one thing lead to another, and Jiae was yelling at him for knocking her up a few weeks later. She was livid and only went through the pregnancy because Callum begged and assured her that he'd pay for everything. Everything. Callum wasn't ready to be a father, but he didn't have much of a choice anymore. Jiae wasn't really a good mother-to-be, and despite how much he pleaded, she still chose to drink. Callum lived in fear of what the alcohol would do to his baby.

Then, in May, his daughter Mocha Lee was born. She seemed to be...Fine. Okay. Normal.

Jiae and Callum lived together for the first three years of Moc- Myungsoon's life, forcing happiness where there was none. Then he took Mocha with him back to his home. He and Jiae split custody- She would get Myungsoon for January through March and for "The Korean Thanksgiving Day," or Chuseok in October for three weeks and he would have her the rest of the year. Jiae wasn't a very secure woman and went between fine and poor living arrangments, never really caring for Myungsoon unless is was Chuseok. Chuseok was important to her. When in South Korea, the poor girl would only be fed and taught Korean. Nothing else concerned her mother. In Scotland, though, with her father Mocha had a good life. He was a doting father, always bringing around picures and gloating about her, playing with her when he wasn't working and raising her well. His job was flexible enough that most often he could work from home or being Mocha with him. She knew that her father loved her more than anything in the world. She felt the same- He was her everything. Sure, Aunty and Grandpa and Grandma were cool, but Papa? He was the best. Umma? Not so much. Mocha never said it, but she hated going to her Umma's house. She didn't get the attention she needed.

But none of that mattered, not by the time she was six because her teacher had noticed something strange that Callum hadn't wanted to admit. At first it was just a few times- When she was five she'd just stop. Mocha would become unresponsive, and swallow repeatedly or fumble with her clothes for ten to thirty seoncds. Then she'd go back to normal. He didn't recognize it, it was almost like she was daydreaming but when her teacher not only noticed that but her particularly awful handwriting, he took her to a doctor. Mocha was diagnosed with partial fetal alcohol syndrome (pFAS), where an there is a known, or highly suspected, history of prenatal alcohol exposure who have alcohol-related physical and neurodevelopmental deficits that don’t meet the full criteria for FAS. She was also diagnosed with epilepsy likely due to pFAS with absence seizures. Specifically, most of her absence seizures were absence with automatisms. With a little extra help Mocha could fix her handwriting and she was put on ethosuximide, or Zarontin. It controlled her symptoms well.

Mocha considered herself to be very normal. She loved her childhood despite the constant-changes that she had to go through and her issues due to her mother's prenatal drinking. She never let it get her down, and she made a lot of friends- Witch/wizard and Muggles alike. She had an interest in Magizoology since the age of eight when she went into her dad's study and found, coincidentally, a copy of Merpeople: A Comprehensive Guide to Their Language and Customs, by Dylan Marwood. Sure, they weren't really creatures but Merpeople weren't exactly humans either. She found a number of Magizoololgy books in the study and fell in love with all the creatures she read about. Mocha loved Nifflers and Graphorns and Swoopings Evils and- She loved them all. Myungsoon didn't though. Myungsoon was expected to speak nothing of her life with her father or she'd get in trouble. Myungsoon liked being in the highlands of Scotland, so when her letter for Hogwarts arrived she was grateful. She was so happy at the school and now she only had to see her mother once a year- Only half of summer. As soon as school was over for the year she'd fly to South Korea, then come back for the second half. She'd spend every Christmas with her dad. It was perfect.

Her best classes were Magizoology and Herbology. The moment the Sorting Hat was on, Mocha was put in Hufflepuff. Brave, yes, but not foolishly so. Intelligent but not ambitious for her own success or willing to sacrifice her friends for it. She valued loyalty and that was enough to be put in Hufflepuff. That's a lie, it was really confusing for the Sorting Hat, because she liked to meet new people but didn't trust them. Once she did, though, she'd be loyal to her death. She could have fit anywhere easily, but they had a feeling Huffpuff was best. Mocha was infuriatingly second place in all Magizoology classes except for when Alfie Min screwed everything up but uh, she was always number one in her specific class so. It was enough for her and she'd never met the number one so?? It wasn't really her problem? Herbology she was number one though. Not one time in seven years did someone take the number one spot from her. She found herself in love with nature and often accopmanied the groundskeeper to the Forbidden Forest to have a look around. She had a terrible incident in her third year, but by her fourth year she was all patched up and ready to move on (See relationships). Mocha loved school and made close friends. No one besides her professers (Plus the groundskeep) knew about her seizures and life was good. Life is good and now Mocha is graduating. She is beyond pumped at this opportunity to protect the Beasts she loves so much.

TRIVIA
☕️ If Mocha runs out of her medication, then anywhere from ten to over a hundred times a day she'll have an absence seizure. These can easily be mistake for daydreaming but when they occur as absence seizures with automatisms they just get a little creepy. Ah well, she probably won't run out.
☕️ A natural leader, but doesn't tend to actually lead. Likely wouldn't lead in this situation unless the team got split up in a terrible turn of events. People would likely be surprised at her taking charge but upon thinking about it, could easily see what they missed.

☕️ Her favorite hobby is travelling. When she was a kid she hated it but now it's become a lovely thing.
☕️ She hates to admit it but Mocha loves coffee. Her favorite is a cinnamon almond milk macchiato, upside down.
☕️ The quote that Mocha lives by is this, "Chin up princess or the crown slips."
☕️ However, her favorite quote is, "The sun loved the moon so much he died every night to let her breathe."

☕️ Brushes her hair obsessively. I'm not even sure that obsessively describes it. She always has a brush on her and it's kinda weird. She has even pulled it out during class.
☕️ Mocha honestly loves to meet new people. She's very sociable even if sometimes she doesn't seem like it. New people are exciting.
☕️ The family owl, Eunkyung. Mocha got to name her when they moved back to Scotland. Eunkyung is a very sassy little bird but is quite affectionate towards Mocha when delivering letters from her father. Has a habit of nibbling on shirt collars.
☕️ Habit of speaking in Korean to herself, be is while she's trying to find something, talking to herself about what they'll eat for lunch, etc., she just speakss in her mother's native language. If people ask she's give a shy, embarassed smile and translate, along with an apology. She secretly likes the attention. Shh!

☕️ Only reads one manga, which is Kagerou Days. It's also a series of songs, an anime (Which was terribly disappointing), and is confusing as hell. See about it here. Save yourself and don't watch the anime. Favorite characters are Kido and Seto. But she really loved as all of them, excluding Kuroha.

Callum has always been the kind to love without a second thought. As soon as he saw his daughter, he knew he would give everything for her, and he did. His dreams of travel, of seeing more Muggle and Wizarding cultures alike around the globe were packed up nice and neat, stored in a corner and ignored in favor of caring for her. He's always been fascinated by how Muggles live, hence his infatuation with Jiae and coffee. He still doesn't regret naming her Mocha. She loves her father very very much and recognizes the sacrifices he made for her,. He always tried to protect her and care for her, even getting a job that allowed him to work from home and giving up tons of money he could get at the better job offer to instead be with her. She's always writing to him, borrowing the family owl to write to everyone she needs to. Callum doesn't regret having Mocha, and would do it all over again- The only thing he'd do different would be to get her away from Jiae sooner. She was always a terrible influence on their daughter, and Callum hates that. He wants Mocha to be close to half her culture, but sometimes it's really hard to send her away knowing where she's going.

Jiae looks younger than she is, but this doesn't mean anything about her personality. She likes to have fun and doesn't think about other people. She was a careless mother and Mocha never really felt loved by her mom. Truth is, she really wasn't. To Jiae, Mocha is a biproduct of a mistake and something to be seen, not heard. She only really cares about Mocha for Chuseok, and wasn't upset to hear she wouldn't be coming back to Korea to see her for a while. Honestly, Mocha doesn't know if she'll ever go back to Daegu except for Kyungtae and Chaewon. She's using this expedition as a way to free herself from the past and grown up- Of course, that's on the side. Her main focus is to save the Beasts. Anyway, back no track. The only things that Mocha can really thank her mother for are giving birth to her and letting her meet Chaewon and Kyungtae. Everything else is terrible really. It's a miracle the alcoholic keeps her job, honestly. If it weren't for her pretty face Mocha is sure she would have been fired by now. Honestly, at this point Mocha doesn't think Jiae is worth talking about because of how awful she is.

Flora is one of Mocha's best friends. A fellow Hufflepuff, Flora is 100% Scottish (As far as she knows anyway) and is completely badass. That's how Mocha feels about her, anyway. Mocha feels her two best friends (One in Scotland, one in South Korea) would match well together, and hopes sincerely one day they can meet each other. Flora is the brawn to Mocha's brains in a way, the one who will without question back up Mocha's claims. Flora recognizes the faults her best friend has and tries to cover them so others can't use them against her. She will always stay by Mocha's side. She's hard working, loyal, and plays fair which are al things Hufflepuff values. Some say Flora would be better in Gryffindor, but Mocha knows her best friend's true values. Also, can we just say how beautiful she is? Stunning for sure. She was always best in Transfiguration. Her wand is 13", willow, unicorn hair, pliable. Mocha always admired her friend's beautiful wand, and her attitude. She's forver thankful for Flora building her back up after year three.

Mocha's other best friend, Kyungtae is a Muggle but that doesn't make her like him any less. He's always been a troublemaker, very cute and lovable but always getting into fights and pretty tough. He grew up in the rougher parts of Daegu and recently ran away from home. He luckily goes to a school who doesn't have a zero tolerance policy, because the amount of fights he gets into is terrible. If you asked his teachers, most would say soemthing like so, "Kyungtae is a great kid, but when people come around he'll really...Go bad." He fights for the exhilaration of it. He fights to protect his heart. He fights to keep up his image and Mocha hates it. It's often when she's in Korea that he'll come limping to her door, beat up but the winner, and she'll have to patch him up. He wants to go to college and have a good life but he's scared at the same time. Mocha adores him and always wants to tuck him close and protect him. She thinks he and Flora would be good friends if only they could meet. Mocha adores him and treats him almost like her younger brother. <3

Sarah was her best friend for the first three years of their Hogwarts education. They were always together when they could be since they were in different houses, and people though they really complimented each other. At the time, Flora was only Mocha's roommate, just a friend. Sarah was the one she could share everything with, and Mocha did. She loved her best friend and Sarah seemed to do the same. She did love Mocha for a while, but soon enough peope, particularly her housemates, were making fun of her for being friends with 'just a Hufflepuff.' Instead of being made at people for talking about her best friend like that, Sarah became embarrassed for herself. The almost angelic-like best friend Mocha had was turning her back, Sarah feeling the Hufflepuff was below her. She turned her back, thinking only of herself and not the poor girl she was hurting. Mocha finally saw how cold and arrogant, how selfish Sarah was, yet still beat herself up over what happened. If she were better at pleasing Sarah, wouldn't she have never left? Flora, thankfully, was able to convince her otherwise.

Who ar- Oh, she got first place? :: Piper Myoui (FC: Twice Mina) :: ?? :: Uh I dunno man :: Hogwarts student apparently :: To be totally honest I really don't ca- What do you mean she's coming too?
Piper is a total mystery to Mocha. She's never met her formally and maybe passed by her once or twice in the halls. She's a Ravenclaw and Mocha doesn't get along with them- Too ambitious and unloyal. At least Slytherins take care of their own. Ravenclaws would leave them in their dust. All that Mocha knew was that Piper happened to exist. She never knew she was the one that always got first place and they never had a class together. She's a bit unhappy a Raveclaw is coming becuase Mocha isn't sure she'll be able to trust Piper to have her back. She really hopes she can but you never know...Mocha and Piper might have a rocky start, but Mocha isn't too trusting of other houses after what happened with Sarah. But how the rocky start will end up? Only time will tell. The only good think Mocha has to say about Piper upon their meeting is that she's a unique beauty. Her appearance has a very angelic, albeit deceiving softness to it, and Mocha is aware that Piper isn't an angel (That honor only goes to Jinki after all) so she's a bit tense.

SCHOOL PET Sir Latte of Charm (Adult male ragdoll). Sir Latte of Charm (Sir Latte or, simply, Latte for short) is a very affectionate cat- People often say he thinks he's a dog as he'll wait and meow at the door for Mocha to return, or if he was in a seperate part of the place, he's come running. He'll really lay limp in your arms and he loves Mocha for than anything. He sits in people's laps, occasionally nips them for attetention when he's desperate, one's cheek as a thank you, and will mercilessly step on your face if you're laying down- Or even if you're not.

WAND Apple wood with a dragon heartstring core, 11 ½" and rigid flexibility
About: Applewood wands are not made in great numbers. They are powerful and best suited to an owner of high aims and ideals, as this wood mixes poorly with Dark magic. As a rule, dragon heartstrings produce wands with the most power, and which are capable of the most flamboyant spells. Dragon wands tend to learn more quickly than other types. While they can change allegiance if won from their original master, they always bond strongly with the current owner. The dragon wand tends to be easiest to turn to the Dark Arts, though it will not incline that way of its own accord. It is also the most prone of the three cores to accidents, being somewhat temperamental.

SUITCASE Well, Mocha was confident her suitcase would be different simply because of who she is. In the end, with an image in her mind and a wave of her wand, Mocha's suitcase transformed into a dark brown, the color of good hot cocoa, it's seams a strawberry milk shade. It remained leather but she changes the texture a little smoother. It was decorated with cornflower blue polka dots in the corners, and in the middle on each side showed a "drawn" picture of her backyard at her father's place- A little strange, but very, very Mocha.

STRENGTH seven
Despite looking fairly fragile and young, Mocha possesses a determination that backs up her physical strength. She works out once a week (See routine here, level two) but once a week doesn't do much. Instead, it's her Herbology class. Working with all of those magical and Muggle plants really is a workout in itself. She could take on someone smaller and same-sized, and likely someone bigger but not by too much. She tends to win tug-of-war.
SPEED four
Mocha isn't fast. She doesn't want to be- Maybe when she's running away from deadly creatures she will but. It's not like the kid can't run or anything but her legs are kinda short and she can't get too far too fast. Less than everage.
STAMINA eight
She's built up quite the stamina. Part of the reason she isn't fast is because she's been taught to take things slow. If you go slow and slowly burn out your stamina then you'll get farther. If you go fast you'll only go a short ways. So she can't run fast but she can do it for a long time. Mocha can work for hours on end.
REFLEX six
While in the past Mocha could not have boasted these kinds of skills. She worked with a specialist on her fine motor skills and this made her reflexes that much better. However she's still only hardly above average. It's often that Flora will make fun of her for reacting fast but, you know, being slow when running. Really kinda slow.

WIT six
She's got her wits about her, but not greatly so. Just barely better than really terrible people, Mocha can think of spells to cast quickly but often it's hard for her to shove those spells out of . After about a day or maybe less (lmao Mocha isn't sure she's fast enough to like live that long but--) she'd either have bittne her tongue off in her hurry to speak or be super dead so. It really depends on the day.
PATIENCE eight
Well, patience is a virtue Mocha possesses. Well above average but not super special and always peaceful, she can stay patient with a disraught Beast, Muggle, or wizard for almost as long as anyone would need. She can approach slowly, speak slowly, listen to cries without becoming stressed, and calming everyone down if she needs to.
COURAGE nine
Mocha is almost as brave as they come. One of the things she could really boast about is how terribly rare it is for her to back down, even when things might horrify other people. Mocha sincerely isn't scared of anything other than losing her loved ones. She can brave even the ugliest of beasts and the most cruel of men. Mocha will not back down from a seemingly impossible challenge. She always remembers that the only thing to fear is fear itself.

BROOM-RIDING SKILLS nine
Her second/third-best skill. As a child one of her first toys was a broom and she'd been riding them ever since. She's loved being in the air from the moment she tried and was on the Quiddich team in Year Four and Year Five as the Keeper, but after she fell quite a few hundred feet and broke her ankle, her father asked her to take a break from the sport and she just never went back (Instead, she paid more attention to Herbology). Mocha had to keep the opposite team's opponent from scoring and thus learned all kinds of crazy maneuvers. She also loves riding brooms becaus she's faster on them than on foot.
HEAT TOLERANCE three
Honestly screw the heat. While she's not terribly bad in heated environments (Actually she's kinda terrible but won't admit it), she doesn't like them at all either. They slow her down and one of her tops skills, stamina, decreases in these conditions. She also just really hates to sweat. At the same time, she does appreciate how the heat affects people she doesn't like (Cough&sideeyesSarah) so she herself doesn't make too big a deal out of it.
COLD TOLERANCE ten
Finally, that's all Mocha can say. If there's one skill she boasts the most, it's her cold tolerance. In fast, she doesn't even need tolerance, she loves the cold more than anything. Mocha is happiest when she has hot coffee sitting in the middle of a field of snow- Preferably while it's still snowing. She isn't bothered in the slightest and is most energized in low temperatures. She's the one who would cheer up the team when they're literally freezing to death and that's totally find with hre. Mocha thinks it might be ironic due to her name (Mocha: Do they made cold mocha drinks? No, right? Not often.) but the cold is where she's at home. <3

HOW DID MAGIZOOLOGY PIQUE YOUR INTEREST? "Well, my father loves it! He always had a lot of books on it so I guess I naturally fell in love as well. The Beasts are all so beautiful and amazing, it's hard not to!" Her expression was of pure delight, and her eyes were simply filled with affection, "I don't know how you could ever be scared of them. They're just wonderful."

WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE GATHERING OF THIS "RESCUE" TEAM? Mocha swallowed, eyes wandering, "It was exciting for sure. However, it also made me sad that this had to be done, you know? It's hard to hear about the struggles the beasts have to go through because of dark wizards." Her tone became ever darker as she continued, "Why aren't the other schools participating? It doesn't make me nervous, but I'm pretty curious. Are they too scared or something?"

THOUGHTS ON CONSTANTLY CARRYING THE SUITCASE EVERYWHERE YOU GO? Mocha's grin had to be infectious, "Well, that's what the feather-light charm is for!"

DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE BEAST IN PARTICULAR? "Oh, no!" It was as though the idea was scandalous to her, "I love them all the same. They all have their charms and their different off-puters, I guess you could say. There's no way I could ever pick a favorite!"

A BEAST THAT CAUSES YOU MUCH TROUBLE? She rolled her eyes, "Well, what did I just say? I know it's cllche but I guess I am too."

A RANDOM THOUGHT, BUT OPINIONS ON MUGGLES OR NO-MAJ'S? "There's no difference," She answered breezily. Her voice was inistent yet calm at the same time. Perhaps a charm?, "In the end, there will always be good and bad wizards and there will always be good and bad Muggles. We can't divide ourselves by our abilities- How else will we progress? I don't think the M.O.M & MACUSA Rules are sensible at all! Honestly? They're pretty dumb. I understand to a degree, but to forbid their knowlegde is just cruel. Am I making any sense?" A giggle. "I think I'm getting off topic, right? Damn, I've got to keep myself together. I think Muggles are good and bad, the same as wizards. I should have just said that, shouldn't I? Too late!"

ANY BEASTS YOU ARE NOT SO LOOKING FORWARD TO ENCOUNTERING ON YOUR MISSION? "Maybe a Fwooper? I don't know if we'll really encounter any, but I'm a little uncomfortable with all their noise," She shook her head at her self, "Or so I assumed? I haven't met one so I really don't know how I'll feel about Fwoopers. I'll definitely be able to handle any Beasts I come across though." Mocha's voice only denoted confidence.

☺ Now let's not take Chaewon all wrong here. She's a really lovely girl, but like others, has her less-than-savory points. She will admit to being controlling, particularly within her group of friends. She doesn't like not having control of a situation, it throws her off entirely and gives her a feeling of worthlessness, and Chaewon isn't accustomed to that- She has always been confident in herself to the point of fault. For some children, they needed the extra praise their parents gave them. Others, they took it too close to their heart, and that's how it happened with Chaewon. After being told she was better than everyone else, she believed it. After meeting her friends (She'll admit to being, well, not the best out of them grade-wise...) she humbled a little but still feels this inside. Chaewon is considered a little superficial, though, as she tends to base things off of looks for a long time..Namely people and places, until she gets to know them better.

☺ Chaewon is quiet to a degree...It's not like she means to be, but often she doesn't have much to add to a conversation. She doesn't quite melt into the background but doesn't pop out either- She's pretty much in the middle. However, she is a bit of a dork and has a strange sense of humor, however it's enough to make all kinds of people crack up in an instant. She is very organized and tries to keep things in their place, out of sake of convenience. If things are neat and where they belong, everyone will have a good time. Chaewon believes in keeping a clean and spacious schedule as well. She's very thoughtful, so if she plans an event or gift for someone, she always takes everyone into account and how what she's doing could affect them, good or bad. She doesn't like to upset others and looks into every possibility. She's very loving and warm, always touchy-feely and full of skinship. If she loves you, platonic, familial, or otherwise, she will surely make you feel it.

FIRST ENCOUNTER Chaewon first met Mocha through their mothers- Close friends (AKA, drinking buddies) decided that it would be a good idea to get their daughters close as well. So, when Mocha was about to start her fourth year of Hogwarts, her mother introduced her to Chaewon. The two were shoved upstairs to Mocha's bedroom and really, they hated each other. She felt that Chaewon was a snooty and Chaewon felt that Mocha was just really rude. It took until the next summer that the two finally realized that they could relate on a lot (ty mothers, being number two in your favorite class, etc.) and got pretty close. Since Chaewon's family owns a hotel (Not big but not small), it was often that Mocha would hang at one of the rooms for free when Jiae was being paticularly terrible or drunk. She still does, actually. Lowkey they like to remind each other how much they hated the other in the past
INTERACTION So Chaewon technically shouldn't know that her girlfriend is a witch. Big deal! Chaewon really admires the younger for her skills in magic and makes that known- She often is the reason Mocha's so confident. When they're together (Not very often.;;) they're always touching somehow- Holding hands, laying their head in the other's lap, kissing a cheek, etc. They only see each other when Mocha is visiting her mother so they want to feel each other has much as possible. Mocha and Chaewon don't keep secrets unless they're unimportant ones. They're honest in their relationship, and if someone is doing something that bothers or hurts the other then they'll make a concious effort to explain their actions/words and change them. They've changed each other for the better and know they can trust each other. Mocha thinks that they could last forever, even if she never really put much stock in first loves. She knows that Chaewon would never cheat on her while she's gone, and Chaewon can say the same for her. They have mutual respect. It's hard to not see how much they love each other.
ENDING Well, what can I say? Of course there's always the possibility that they'll break up in the future, but Mocha going on this adventure doesn't bother Chaewon. They've always had a long distance relationship and it's last this many years, so it could easily last more. Mocha may appreciate how pretty other girls and guys are but she doesn't want to be with anyone but Chaewon. Also, Chaewon was always faithful in reporting Jiae's activities and wellbeing to Mocha. Even if Mocha doesn't admit it, Chaewon knows her girlfriend worries about her mother (After all, Chaewon can relate) as much as she hates her. Mocha will always hold onto that similarity, and she thinks it'll take them far. Now, thinking father into the future (Mocha is maybe twenty-two?), the only problem I foresee them encountering is Mocha wanting kids. XD They can easily adopt or get a donor. So, up to you how it plays out, but I can easily see them staying together. Probably not in South Korea though, thanks to the whole stigma again homouality. Scotland is considered one of the most progressive places in Europe after all~

 

ANYTHING TO SAY? So uh, I love all of my FC's so if you wanna use Fernanda Ly, Eunseo, or Yeri I'm game. Particularly for Fernanda. Her face is unique I didn't expand every personality trait because some seem pretty obvious and clear (To me at least) while others needed a lot more explaining so~ So there was a bit of a difference between Mocha and Myungsoon growing up, but now Mocha has become confident and accepted every side of herself. Yup yup. I've literally been working on Mocha since you uh, published this fic but only now did I finish her. (#F19FB3 + #FF9999)
