APPEARANCE Jade is a small girl, barely standing at 5'1 or 156 cm she's small and petite. She has quite fair skin for living in sunny California and her hair is jet black. She never does anything to her hair besides put it in low pigtails occasionally. Jade has slightly chubby cheeks, not enough to be called chubby, but enough to pinch. Her torso is actually longer than her legs with her legs being just a bit shorter than her torso. If she was split in half then her torso is taller than her legs. Everything about Jade is small, her feet are only a size 5½ and her hands don't even cover her face. Her waist size is about 23 inches and her size is a B cup. She also has a small mole on the right side of her neck above the collar bone.

FASHION Jade likes wearing things that look cute on her. Her summer look is a loose, flowey dress with cute vans to match the color. She likes them because it's loose and feels nice while also making her look cute and small. It's normally bright color dresses as well to go with her pale complexion and black hair. In spring she likes wearing skirts or shorts with a slightly loose, cute top. Sometimes she'll wear a jacket, but it's all cute. She usually wears flats with those, but she can wear heels at times. During fall, she wears a skirt with tights under, a top, jacket and most likely a scarf. If not a jacket than a long sleeve shirt. In winter she wears skinny jeans and loose top with boots and a scarf. Her formal wear is just whatever she likes, most likely a brightly colored high-low dress with heels. 💕 Jade is a very Adaptable girl, in her own way. She adapts pretty easily, as in she gets used to things really easily, however she usually doesn't talk often so it seems like she's really uncomfortable, but she's not! She's just quiet. You can also trust her to make decisions. When she hears the option, she knows what to pick right away. It's based on what sounds right in the solution. Where's most people would struggle, Jade would confidently say her opinion. She's also quite empathetic. Jade can easily spot and share the common feeling in order to comfort people. It helps very often actually. She's good at comforting people because of it. She can grasp a situation's mood very quickly. Jade is quite intelligent. What Jade has is a brain that's almost photographic, but not. She knows what she's doing and most of the time, picks the right choices. She's more book smart than street smart though. She can be quite Patient as well. She learned to have patience when she was growing up. She had to learn and if she really really loves something, she'll take time. 💗 Though, Jade can be a bit absentminded at times. When she's feeling nervous or scared, she tends to zone out. It's like a protection method in a way. She is they type to zone out right before a big presentation, but still do well. She's also competitive. She blames that on being raised with boys. When it comes to her academics and studies, she likes to be first. When she's good at something she likes to be first. Sports included. Jade is quite enigmatic, meaning she's a bit complex. It's hard to truly understand her. Even her best friends have problems understanding her at times. She just has so many thoughts rushing through her head and different sides to her that she's hard to understand. Though, Jade is a very neutral person. She really hates being asked to choose sides so she doesn't without hearing both ends of the story. Then she chooses the side she thinks is right. She's passionate as well. When Jade really really feels passionate about something, she will pursue it until the end. It's good and bad because she gets herself into a lot of trouble since the things she feels passionate about can bite her in the . She will ignore people because she's so focused on what she wants to do. But, Jade is shy. She's very very shy. She has a hard time approaching people so she doesn't talk to anyone that doesn't talk to her first. She hates being the center of attention because all those eyes on her makes her feel nervous, then she zones out and looks stupid.
💔 Jade can be a bit.. Abrasive. She's shy, but then she really doesn't care about people. There are certain people she sees and she just doesn't care for, aka 80% of the population. If you don't interest her, you don't matter to her. She's also careless in a way. When it comes to action, she just goes all in. It's a very careless act but she knows she can get through it. She often does things that seem very careless and reckless to others, but it probably has meaning to her. And despite that all, Jade is very Delicate on the inside. She doesn't let many people in, so when she does she's vulnerable. She gets hurt easily when it comes to people she cares about. She doesn't show it at times, but she does get emotionally hurt easily. Also contributing to her carelessness, she's impulsive. If she wants to do something, she will and nothing can stop her, besides the factor of 'Will it kill me or not?'. And with that, Jade is oblivious when it comes to other people's feelings for her. Jade thinks that she's unlikeable so she tends to take subtle flirtation as friendliness. Where it looks obvious to most people, Jade doesn't see it. Or more like she chooses not to see it. Jade is also passive but only when it comes to her. If you wrong a friend, then she will speak out, ,but if you wrong her she wont say anything. It's not worth it and she just lets it pass. She says that it's not worth her time. 

BACKGROUND

💜 Family backstory; It was an early day in 1951 and there was a group of people, fleeing from what was once their home in South Korea. The war had become a lot more troublesome and even the magical world had gotten involved. The 'Hayan Lees*', as they were called, were being targeted by powerful families of wizards from North Korea, so they did what they had to. They fled the country in order to save their family. They all were taken to North America, in the United states. They were taken to California, where Los Angeles was. There, they all had built a nice home, and even went as far as to hide their family background from future kids. They couldn't risk being found out at the time. They stopped using magic and opened the door to non magical beings into their family. There was always one thing that stuck to the family, no matter how 'polluted' their family bloodline had become. The first born child of every family was a male. It had been that way for generations. 

💜 Jade Lee was born on rather hot July morning in 1999 to a once powerful family of wizards and witches. She was a shock to the whole family and no one knew if it were a good or bad thing. It was also that year when their grandfather decided that it was time to gain their name back. When her grandfather had first seen Jade at the hospital, he looked her over and smiled. There he claimed that she would train just like all the other first born children, because 'she was destined to do great things in her life'. Her parents were fine with it. (Out of the whole family, only 2 of the current parents had a 'pure' bloodline, as in only 2 of grandfathers kids,[Grandfather is also a PureBlood]  married and had kids with another Pureblood. One being Jade's parents and the other being Cristian's parents.) Her cousin Cristian and his parents were always with Jade's family. Cristian was 2 years older, almost 3, than Jade and he absolutely adored her. Jade and Cristian were often seen together as kids. They trained together, they played together, they did everything together. It was like that because all of her other family pushed her away. 
💜 Jade was a fast learner, she always was. When it came to learning about being a witch, and learning what she could do, she was good at it. She listened well and retained what she had learned with ease. Her parents taught her and she learned rather quickly. It scared her aunts and uncles so they pushed her away. It was the same for Cristian. They were scared of them as they weren't good at magic and their children wasn't learning fast. It was okay though, Jade had Cristian, her parents, and her favorite aunt and uncle. She didn't need the rest. And when it came to school, Jade was incredibly smart. She was always top of her class. She didn't have many friends, however. Jade was always shy and it was to the point of, she didn't talk to anyone. 
💜 When Cristian left to Ilvermorny, Jade was crushed. She was a loner again and at her age, it was harsh. Just like the training she was forced to keep doing. Her other cousins didn't get an invitation so they were still there.(They didn't believe they could use magic at all. Very discouraged.) Her cousins had grown a strong dislike for Jade. She was the youngest, and her grandfather's favorite grandchild. He favored her and it was very obvious. Her other cousin's tried everything they could to outshine her, but they couldn't. Even when it came to things that didn't require learning. 
💜 One day, the family had a training session in the woods, it was random, but worth it. The kids were training when a cousin hit a beehive. With very unhappy bees, they chased Jade since she was right under it. Jade screamed and ran around. Since Jade has really bad stamina, she ran into the lake since bees can't swim or like the water. (The parents were all in the house, the kids were on break.) She was stuck in the lake, for a good 3 minutes before the bees actually left. Jade had to come up to take a breath and go back down as quickly as she could. It was horrible. She was shaken and wet, her shoes were muddy and as she was walking back a swarm of butterflies and mosquitoes chased her all the way back to the cabin. (Fun fact, butterflies are attracted to mud.) When she got in, her grandfather had taken her to the fire place to get warm until her parents came back. 
💜 The next year, Jade was sent a letter from Ilvermorny. Her parents were so happy that they told her grandfather, who told the whole family. They disliked her even more, but they had to deal. When Cristian came for the summer and found out, he cheered and celebrated with her. (They went out to get Ice cream, Jade swears it was the best ice cream she's had since he left.). The two spent the summer together, Cristain telling Jade what he learned and how he learned it. Cristian even took her, with the parents, out to get everything picked up before she would leave. 
💜 At Ilvermorny, Jade was never alone. Cristain was there and basically introduced her to all of his friends. He had friends her age and most were in a class with her so they watched over her. She had her wn friends though and hung out with them very often. Even from the beginning, it was very evident that she had a crush on an upperclassmen named Jacob. Her friends about it throughout her life at Ilvermorny. 
💜 Jade did very well in school, except for in potions. She was never good in potions. She got an A, but she hates using potions. It was the one subject she hated. And in her third year, she was most excited for Magizoology. She's always loved Magizoology since she was a child. Cristian and Jade loved reading 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them'. She loved learning about animals, so it came to no surprise when Jade was ranked within the top 3 of her class. Every year since then, Jade's position was always in the top 3. Her friends found that the only thing she loved more than the book, was Magizoology, and her little owl of course. (Found him in the forest. He was injured so she nursed him back to health secretly and he became the best thing she had.) 
💜 Now that Jade had graduated, she was expected to live with Cristian for a bit since her whole family decided they would go live in Seoul for a year to see how much it changed. (She sighed and whined when they told her. She wanted to go too.) Cristian is also letting his friends visit him since they live alone, besides Joseph who lives with them.

SCHOOL PET Daniel James III (Elf owl) ; In her third year, she was out with her friends for reasons unknown, and they went into the woods. Jade heard what sounded like crying noises so she went towards it. Turned out to be a little elf owl that fell from somewhere so she took it in. It's wing was injured so she couldn't just leave it. She nursed it back to health and when it was ready, she let him go. He came right back and has been with her since.

WAND Ash wood with a Unicorn hair core 10" and Hard flexibility

Ash: The ash wand cleaves to its one true master and ought not to be passed on or gifted from the original owner, because it will lose power and skill. Unicorn Hair: Unicorn hair generally produces the most consistent magic, and is least subject to fluctuations and blockages. Wands with unicorn cores are generally the most difficult to turn to the Dark Arts. They are the most faithful of all wands, and usually remain strongly attached to their first owner, irrespective of whether he or she was an accomplished witch or wizard. Minor disadvantages of unicorn hair are that they do not make the most powerful wands and that they are prone to melancholy if seriously mishandled, meaning that the hair may 'die' and need replacing.

SUITCASE Jade's suitcase on the outside is a pale purple color with small decorations such as fake diamonds glued on around the outer areas to help attract certain beasts (Nifflers) and her family symbol imbedded into the middle of it. The handle of her suitcase is a pale purple velvet to make carrying it a lot easier. The inside of the suitcase looks the same as newt's did with many different areas along with the weather to go with them. She decided against just going with one landscape because the beasts all have different preferences. That and she thought it would be cooler. 

 

STRENGTH 7 ; She's actually quite strong for her size, but it's because her family trained her to be strong.

"When I was younger, my older cousin would read me a rather old, but amazing book, 'Fantastic Beasts and where to find them'. I absolutely fell in love with the book. It all started there." I said with a small giggle. I still love the book.

💜 I sat up with another smile on my face. "I think it's amazing. It's a great idea, honestly. We get to save the things I love and we all are doing it for the same reason." Then I realised I was a little loud and blushed. 

THOUGHTS ON CONSTANTLY CARRYING THE SUITCASE EVERYWHERE YOU GO? 
💜 I hummed softly, biting my bottom lip out of habit. "I think it'll be a little hard, but it'll be worth it. It's like having our own personal beast shelter everywhere we go." I said excitedly. "I'll make it easier to save them as well."

💜 I shook my head slightly at the question. "Not really, I like all of the beasts." I said with a slight giggle, looking back at all the animals I've learned about. "They all have their own charms, and there are some I like a little less, but no favorites."

💜 "Nifflres." I said without hesitation. "They get out of the bag and run around looking for shine things and-- I have bad stamina.." I said with a sigh. Just thinking about the nifflres made me exhausted.

PERSONALITY  Jacob Yeo is known as a 'Perfect man'. He is sweet and very charming. Jacob always has a smile on his face and is always helping others. No matter what, there will always be a smile on his face. He is also ver friendly. He likes to go around and make friends, that's why he gives tours every year to all the incoming kids. However, Jacob is very worried. He worries 90% if the time whether he does well or not. That and he's a tiny bit conceited. FIRST ENCOUNTER The first met because of Cristian. Jacob is Cristian's friends and when Jade entered Ilvermorny, Cristian was the one who basically took her and introduced her to his friends. One of which was Jacob. It was an awkward first meeting. 
INTERACTION Honestly speaking, Jade has a crush on Jacob. It was like, an instant crush when she saw him. She becomes a lot more shy around him and she refuses to talk to him because she'd probably stutter and embarrass herself. Though, Jacob tries to get closer to her because no one has ever really ignored him like she has. He'll smile and say hi and Jade will smile back, put her head down and walk faster. It seems like she doesn't like him, but she does. She just can't face him without blushing, because have you seen his face? And he's really really nice. He's what Jade would call a 'perfect man'. He's basically everything Jade looked for in a guy.
