Confidence burns deep in June's family (which was how her father landed a Russian Model for a wife), and ever since she was a child her parents were very spportive and encouraging of her good nature which eventually built up her confidence. June wasn't always witty but her ability to pick up things quicker allowed her to learn and soon compete against others, mainly friends. June, who was a fast learner, didn't have much of a hard time in school so it allowed her spare time. June was always active, so she turned to sports to kill time. However, killing time turned into a hobby and she found herself playing more and more.  Due to her obession in sports, she unconciously enhanced her althetic skills and was confident to continue building her appearance (after seeing what she liked in a mirror). At times, June's confidence and obession would mix and she'd even be stubborn. June's good natured and quick wittiness at times finds herself opening doors for both men and women, helping elders, and standing up to others. 

Due to June's confidence, she was up to just about anything that was thrilling. Which was why she never truly gave up on sports until high school. Her confident self can also be very clinging, whether towards material invention or people. Her clingliness are often mistaken for and as obession, but once June likes or love something she doesn't give up on it until she's found something better to replace it. As a daredevil, June sometimes are at risk of getting hurt or do get hurt and by coping she becomes sarcastic in the situation, to enlighten herself and for others not to worry too much for her. In situations like these, June would be crafty with what she say after taking into account others reactions or how they would react. For example when she broke a leg, she'd say "thank goodness it wasn't my wrist or I'll have to practice writing with my opposite hand" or "thank goodness it wasn't my wrist, I wouldn't get to eat as much as I want if someone else fed me," 

BACKGROUND: 

-Russian Name

June was born in Amur, Russia on May 22, 1996 to Korean-Russian officer Cho Jung and Russian model Elena Ivanov. June has an older brother of four years, Cho Yulian Gihyun and an adopted older sister of two years, Cho Vera. Before the age of six, June lived on a large land and had all the space to run and play. In doing so, June was very crafty about creating and discovering hiding spots, creative in the games she came up with, etc. During the summer, June would swim and play in a plastic pool out in their backyard and go under to hold her breath, which helped her lungs. In the fall she'd raked leaves, which kept her active and on her feet. During the winter, June would help bring in logs to be burned and she'd keep their chimney alive and going. In a way June learned responsibilities through her small, playful acts to keep her parents happy. 

At age six they moved to America where June was enrolled into elementary. English was never truly a problem as she grew up conversing with her parents in English, though she'd speak Korean with her father or Russian with her mother as they wanted to keep her multilingual and familiar with her parents origins. June picked up on school pretty quickly and would come home to a smaller backyard and with not much to do. Though her family were well off, they weren't necessarily concerned with the size of their property or home. Thus she turned to sports as she saw how students would spend the games after school, at school, or in public areas.

So at age ten (4th grade) she was allowed to join the local TRB (tennis racket baseball) games and were on a team. Surprisingly June did well and her group, consisting some of the best players, moved up and won every year in school. As TRB was only a fall sport, she played soccer in the spring (4th & 5th grade). Finally in sixth grade she joined her school's basketball team as she was pretty tall for her age (5'4") and was scouted onto the team in junior high school. In jr.high school, with her good grades, June was immediately scouted into her school's team as her coach was a P.E substitute at her grade school. In 8th grade (14 at the time) June sprained her ankle during a finale and was recommended to quit sports by the doctors (as she had sprained it multiple times before). After her recovery, her coach was stubborn about letting her on the team but June never gave up. After showing up at games and practices, her coach felt bad and allowed her back onto the team. However, before graduation June sprained her wrist and hurt her arm thus once again was strongly asked not to continue sports. 

In summer of 2010 (14) June was hanging out with her friends as they pass through an art exhibit set outside. Drawn by its color and admired of its bold, confident , June became interested in the ways of art. Though June had hurt her wrist, the artist she crossed path with was very positive and encouraged her to learn art and practice it. Strangely June was inspired and excited about putting down her own imagination onto paper and framework. Hence in high school, she took many art courses as electives and aided art teachers with visuals for talent shows (stage props, stage decoration to fit certain theme, etc), musical performaces, and many more. In the same year June also picked up some guitar and piano skills during her own time. In eleventh grade (16) June fell into the talent shows and enjoyed music. To stay in shape and keep active again, she started dancing, rapping, and singing. As a child Elena often sing to June, and fortunately June inherited her mother's honey-like voice. Thus when she was a child she wanted to become a singer or a fashion/architecture designer up until she played sports at ten (2006). Where she briefly thought about becoming an athlete and sees Serena Jameka Williams as a role model for tennis. 

At 17 June opened up a youtube account under the name "Prou:DAmericanGirlz" with a group of her besties, Yasenia Gonzalez, who was one of the school's most well known singer, (FC: youtuber Megan Nicole) and Cheyenne Alvord (FC: youtuber Tiffany Alvord), who played basketball with June in middle school and on her own a bit in high school. Cheyenne surprisingly had a great singing voice and was also friends with June and Yasenia. In the same year, June and her friends were scouted and almost signed under America's company, Muzo Entertainment, as they became youtube stars almost instantly after their third upload, a cover of Taylor Swift "I Knew You Were Trouble". Muzo had previously signed soloist Ailee up until 2010. When June was told of former labelmate Ailee's success she found it to be very motivational and inspirational. Soon June was scouted by a Nega Network (NN) representive during an audition in America due to her charisma (and similarity feel to Brown Eyed Girls Gain), she became conflicted of whether to move to S.Korea and become a trainee or stay in America and try to make it big with her friends. Unfortunately a fight broke out between Yasenia and Cheyenne due to different opinions and neither wanted to keep the unofficial group going. Cheyenne was also upset that Yasenia had opened up an account of her own and had been gaining fame on her own. So a disband took place and soon June took up the offer made through Nega Network. 

The representitive suggested that June finished school in Korea and at the same time trained. Stubbornly she declined and object the idea as she only had one more year to go. Hence she signed the contract but promised to train in America. Her putting a year off of immediately training under NN put her in a bad spot, but June was unaware of it. Hence after graduating, and with her parents okay she moved to S.K with her older brother, who eventually end up meeting June's future sister in law and marrying her. After arriving at Nega Network, the label debate whether to debut June with its newest girl group Laboum or not. As time passes NN's CEO put off the subject (as they were having difficulty managing U-Kiss's activities and were still unhappy with her decision to delay her training time) and decided to give June more exposure as a trainee first as they weren't confident in her skills. Therefore June was pushed off and instead made appearances in either U-Kiss or Laboum's MV. (More of her trainee days to be revealed below...)

Due to the love she had received from her parents, moving away was sometimes harder than not. However, June worked herself to the level of exhaustion to forget about them. She also prefered if her parents were happy and not worried about her personal problems. In early 2015, her mother was diagnosed with a brain tumor which forced her to return to America. Uncertain whether she would return to Korea or not, June managed to nullify her contract with NN, as she was also mistreated and physically abused. (For someone who was not used to physical punishments, thought it was a huge deal.) March of 2015 her mother passed away. In August June returned to S.K with her father to start anew there. Her sister, Vera married a French man in France and lived there with her occupation as a nurse. Almost immediately June auditioned for Bloom Entertainment and was signed. In January she debuted with Flower Girls.

✩ June got her middle name from her father's first three letters of his name and her mother's first letter. JUNg + Elena = June. 
✩ June has a quote tattoo on her back, on her top left side that reads "Self-confidence is the best outfit., rock it and own it." She got it after graduating high school and with the small money she made through the youtube account with her friends then. 
✩ Deep down June has an obession for/with chokers (band around necks).

✩ June has true respect for apple blossom's healthy lifestyle. Despite June's outstanding confidence, she's very motivated by apple blossom to keep herself in shape and healthy.

✩ June had always wanted to introduced her adopted sister, Vera, and Bang Chanmi as they both studied in France and June just can't get the idea out of her mind of how similar the two are.

✩ June admires CEO's Park wish for the girls to work hard, but she's afraid he will be like NN's CEO. Irresponsible and inconsiderate.
✩ June respect Lee Jiae as she understand the lass's strict business side. At times June wished there was a Jiae in NN then.
✩ June thinks Baek Taehyun is cute (adorable cute) in how he babies the girls, but often she'd wish he'd be confident and have faith in them girls.
✩ June loves Kim Misun's bright and energetic personality. At times June finds herself sweet talking the girl despite being a year younger than Misun.
✩ June appreciate the effort Kyung Subin puts in for the girls, but at times feel bad that the lass is trying too hard to prove herself.
✩ June thinks Ahn Shiwoo needs to chill (no matter how much she loves his talent for choreos) with his strictness and the ways he goes about teaching them. No one wants to learn from a difficult man and one who always crashes with her.
✩ Oh Eunha is the only one who June comes to when it's about looking down on Shiwoo. June can see that it's not healthy for Eunha, the way Shiwoo pushes the newbie.

FAMILY: 

✩ father - Cho Jung (52) | retired police officer | confident, understanding, cool, can be distant | was close on and off
           June and her father were much closer when June was a child, as she would help her father chop, carried, and stocked wood. As she grew older, her father was promoted in rank so he worked more often than not. In the city that June grew up in, she was always proud to say her father was a police man. Even when others wonder if her father was a good or bad policeman, and if he abuses his authority. However, June knew that her father wasn't the type, thus never let others negativity and curiousity get to her. After they moved to S. Korea, her father supported her career path and decided to become a crosswalk guard for elementary students as he felt bad missing out on most of June's childhood. Her parents met when her father was supposedly a bodyguard and his task was to make sure the group of models arrived safely to their next destination. Jung who guared Elena's waiting room ended up attracted to her and asked her out on a date after a few meeting. 

✩ mother - Elena (47 when deceased, would be 49) | retired model, voice actress |  confident, outgoing, secretive | was very closed to her mother as she supported and went to almost every game June played in. June was also comfortable in confiding to her
           Elena was a runway model, after getting much older she was no longer wanted for runways. Fortunately for her, she found elsewhere to put her passion into. Voice acting. Elena started her new career after they moved to America, where her son's friend's mother recommend she tried it out. Elena was soon cast as cameos in films as an actress. During this time she lived away from June and the rest, in New Jersy. June was 13 then. Her mother's acting career lasted for only two years when she became pregnant with her third biological child. However, she miscarred after three months and decided to stay at home for a while. Eventually once June turned 16, her mother started voice acting again as she received gigs. Elena even learned sign language to translate for others. Elena was a secretive woman, which was how she was able to keep her relationship with June's father a secret from society and her family, and she also kept her diseases from her family until the news broke out.

           June learned a lot from Gilhyun and was always grateful for the time and patience Gilhyun gave her. As they got older, Gilhyun went to school in Washington DC and lived there until twenty three, after getting his degree in film & art making. At twenty three he got out of school and immediately searched for jobs, he landed one in Korea where the company is looking for ideas outside of Korea. Though he was Korean, born and raised in different countries made him eligible for the position. After flying there for an interview, Gilhyun was hired days later. So he moved to Korea to live with his career and that was where he met his to-be-wife and allowed June to move in with him as she was scouted.

           As children, Vera always make it clear when she wants or doesn't want something. She was always chasing after her own dreams without caring for the support of anyone around her. She lives boldly with the motto "you cannot impress everyone". Vera was not very happy when they immigranted, despite being only eight. Out of everyone she had the hardest time adapting to the weather and language there. She was not a fan of heat. She often gets allergies in the springtime and was very irritated. At eighteen, Vera couldn't wait to graduate high school and move elsewhere. Thankfully in High School she took French and fell in love with their language, thus she decided to take her studies oversea. Vera would visit during important holidays or her parents birthday before she got engaged in 2016 to French Chef in training Chanler Durand (21).

           June and Jina clicked when she and her brother moved in with Jina. June liked how Jina lived healthily and knew she could trust her brother in Jina's care. Jina was more emotional and expressive than her brother, but June knew it was what made Gilhyun attracted to Jina. Jina comes from a family of five as well, and was the eldest of three. Thus Jina and Gilhyun shared that in common. Jina only have two younger brothers, so while her brothers come over to hang out with Gilhyun, June and Jina would go out together. June picked up her interest in shopping there with Jina.

FRIENDS: 

✩ best friend - Kwak Dongyeon (20 / a year younger than June) | actor | talkative, smart, talk + act like an old man | 10
         For friendly and those who made and kept friends outside of the entertainment industry, June met Dongyeon in mid 2016 through friends. Apparently one of Jina's younger brother went to the same school as Dongyeon and are still friends. June, hanging out with her nephews from marriage, was introduced to Dongyeon who she immediately love. Dongyeon was talkative, smart, and the way he talked was just amusing. Dongyeon told June about him acting in the drama that was set to air in August titled "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" and asked for June's support. Dongyeon was also told June had made her debut as an idol just earlier that year. Dongyeon who would have been an idol if he wasn't an actor quickly fell into a long, relatable conversation with June. The two were comfortable around one another and started hanging out more often when they had free time. June enjoys putting Dongyeon in a headlock despite him being taller. She was just glad Dongyeon wasn't a giant like Jihun. Fun fact: June learned how to fish from the lad.

          June has only met Dahye a few times but the two often hold deep conversations as if they were besties. The lass is under the same company as Jihun and is close to Jihun as they've worked together, so Jihyun introduced the two ladies. Dahye is like an older sister June never had, because of their honest and wittiness, they get along well without fighting. Sometimes Dahye and June gangs up on Jihun for fun and they are normally always in a group chat with many others. 

✩ former best friend - Cheyenne Alvord (21 in 2017, same age as June) | Youtube star/Singer | friendly, outgoing, faithful | 9-10
          Cheyenne and June were best friend ever since junior high, they were into sports and shared a lot in common. Cheyenne and June were so close, back then they made sure everyone knew they were BFFs. When it's one or the other's birthday, they'd dress up, bring cake, balloon, and much more to celebrate together (along with some friends). The two were inseperable and would hug and whine if they haven't seen one another through a whole period/class. And if they were in the same class, the two would braid and play with each other's hair. They just couldn't keep their hands to themselves!
         After graduating, the two naturally grew apart. They reconnected in 2015, during the passing of June's mother. June learned that Cheyenne continued on with youtube and has become a youtube star. Cheyenne on the other hand promised she would support June when June comes out with her own music and group in Korea. After debuting, June contacted Cheyenne and the girls talked all night. They even discussed a collaboration.

          Ever since their disband, June hasn't seen or met Yasenia. But the girl who was very loved for her voice in high school, graduated a year after them and moved away to a good college. Later on June heard from a former class mate that Yasenia became a singer and actress and is signed under the same label as Selena Gomez. Yasenia and June became friends when Yasenia was a 10th and June an 11th grader.

         The younger sister of Topp Dogg's P-Goon, Sehee is shyer than she looks. Sehee and June got to meet backstage, Sehee approached June knowing who she was and was very respectful. Naturally they grew close as June promised to keep an eye out for Sehee and her group, Bulldok, that just debuted in October of 2016. The two hang out at 2017 idol star athletics championship and talked for a while before splitting up. June and Sehee is similar in height and though Sehee is older, June treats her like a friend. Sehee doesn't seem to mind, she's just grateful and happy to be getting June's attention. June tends to hug Sehee more than she does her members.

TRAINEE YEARS: three years
TRAINEE LIFE:  June trained under Nega Network for two years (2013-2015/first year she had to train on her own in America with a task list) before moving to Bloom Entertainment (Aug 2015-Jan 2016). During June's first trainee days (early 2014) at NN, she picked up a part time job in Seoul to help her support herself financially as NN wasn't giving her work. The lass found herself working more at her part time than under the company. However, her objecting the agency's idea to finish her last year of high school in S.K immediately won her against NN's CEO favor. Thus after June was signed and promised a spot in its upcoming new girl group Laboum, it was all swept under the rug after June showed up to train for a year. Under the agency, June was not used to the physical abuse and punishment the trainees received, thus she tend to step over the line and would get hit for her actions.

Despite the poor treatment, June was confident to overcome it and win all the bad in the end. Finally in June, June appeared as a cameo for U-Kiss's MV Stop Playing. It was her first project and June wasn't really a fan of it. She could pull off y concepts, but she doesn't love it. For a while June was told and believe the new girl group was going for a y concept, thus June picked up her game and practice her expression, ier angles, and much more. In less than a month she was sure she could keep up with the concept. That was until Laboum's official line up was announced in late 2014 and June was not apart of it, she also come to find out that the new girl group went with a more innocent style.

Unhappy with the agency, June managed to move on and let it go as NN promised to give her more work instead. June also stayed for one of the trainee during the time.

Finally she lands her first main role in U-Kiss's "Playground". However, just days before it releases, June heard from her brother about their mother's disease. Instantly June packed and headed to America after her brother came to get her. NN checked up on June through texts, calls, and emails doubting if her mother was truly sick or if June had run away. As the agency continue to doubt her and the state of her mother's condition, June filed for a contract nullification after the staff and CEO refused to meet up and settle the situation. June who wasn't sure about returning to Korea asked if the company and her could cancel her contract without a lawsuit, but the company didn't want to give her up. Each day felt long and stressful, June was at the hospital most nights to aid her sick mother. As the pressure piles up on NN's side and soon with the death of her mother, June immediately turned to the court. As she won the case with her father's help, it was in August that June and her family made their home in S.Korea. 

During a date with her father, June was noticed and scouted by one of Bloom's staff. Wanting to get back on her career choice, and to show NN what they've lost, June auditioned the very next day. Becoming the idol we know today as Flower Girl June!

         Only a handful of netizens know about Flower Girl June's past as a youtube star. When she was still living in America, the idol opened up an account with friends under the name "Prou:DAmericanGirlz"! Recently there has been mixed feelings surrounding June, as netizens argue why the idol referred to herself as American when she was born in Russia. Though a number of Russian fans has taken it online to express their anger at the idol for not being "proud to be Russian", "don't ever come back here if you're not proud to be Russian", and much more, others are supporting and defending June. Claiming she "earned her American citizenship", "it's not like being American is being non-Russian", and "June is always talking about how much she loved and missed her time in Russia and that once she retired she may move back there since it's beautiful, so what are you all complaining about?".

✩ Flower Girl June and KNK Jihun revealed to be in a relationship! (2019) | true 
     Surprisingly June and Jihun has been dating for two years and keeping their relationship a secret from the public. The two have been said to have met as trainees under Nega Network and had kept in contact ever since leaving and joining their own, different and current agencies! YNB revealed they did not know of Jihun's relationship until recently and that after speaking to the idol, he confessed to the rumor and even revealed to have spoke about marriage with Flower Girl June! However, Bloom Entertainment announced June will not be getting marry any time soon and will continue with what she's doing in the meantime. 

✩ Nega Network exposes June and Jihun's relationship as trainees! (2019) | false
     Nega Network that used to house trainees such as Flower Girls June, KNK Jihun, and more has come out to share about June and Jihun's relationship during their trainee days back in 2014/2015. Photos of Jihun and June spotted together shopping and having a good time spread like wildfire. Nega Network shared that they knew the idols has been dating for much longer and left the company together after they were found out and forbidden from dating, as it was still too early. Netizens has been split into sides, some siding with Nega Network's statements and agreeing that the idols would have ruined their careers if they came out dating before it even started. Others claimed if they had dated before leaving, how come they ended up in different agencies, and that a man and woman shopping together doesn't make you a couple. Though there were no hard evidence if the idols have dated in the past, suppose we'll just have to take both of their words for it.
