STYLE: If we're going to be honest, JaeEun really likes to dress y. She's proud of her body because she eats well and works out to get it so nice. She loves to wear all colors, because what matters is how form-fitting or the length of the item. From sweater dresses to a form-fitting black top with a peephole-linke neckline. A little black dress to skinny jeans and a stiff long-sleeved cream top, a black and white striped top tucked into a tan colored skirt, JaeEun has a lot of ways to be purposefully and seemingly-effortlessly y. For formal occasions, she normally wears long dresses (Though she does have a few short dresses, another fancy little black dress or two), with some sort of surprise- A slit for a leg, shear middle, hugging her in all the right places, you know how it goes. When you see JaeEun and learn that she's a rapper, the first thing you'd probably think is damn, she's got to be a badass. Well, that's not quite how it is. JaeEun is undeniably sophisticated and everyone knows it- She's not a fan of fake charisma and trying to soup your act up. She has the best manners you've ever seen, respectful and clean with a lovely charm to her. JaeEun shows she's intelligent but not horribly so, because if you show too much then you lose the sophisticated part of it. She's naturally elegant and has class to spare, which is really great when meeting with important people. JaeEun educated and cultured and really sophisticated is the most prominent part of her personality. That being said, she's always up for the un-classy adventure here and there. She loves to try new things and encourages others to do the same. They're a great way to get experience and have fun. She's not afraid to try something she hasn't before, be it a ride, a meal, going somewhere, it's all going to be fun. She finds happiness in pushing the limits just a little. She's a master of words and uses that to her own advantage. JaeEun is very steadfast with her beliefs and doesn't back down. She's always right there when you need her and trust me, you will. She'll always stick by your side once you've earned her trust. JaeEun is open with her feelings and views, and even opinions on things. She doesn't express these rudely, but she does in fact express them. She has a lot of ideals that she holds herself up to. JaeEun believes in possibilites and that's special nowadays. It's natural for her to look at the big picture before getting down to the little details. When something changes in her environment or in a person, she's always the first to know. After living for twenty-three years, JaeEun has become very in-tune with her surroundings and the people she knows, so she has become very alert. Always the person to know when something's wrong, JaeEun never panics when she realizes these things. Instead, she's naturally calm and takes things in a calming fashion. The very air about her is calming and soothing, and people are attracted to that. JaeEun doesn't ever let people see her flustered side because it doesn't show up often. Upon meeting JaeEun, you'll get an impression about her, by the way she speaks and her body language. She is very comfortable with her body and uality, and is naturally sensual. Not only is she confident in her own body but she owns it, and this sensuality is a feeling, an aura she emits. She knows the art of feeling good and shares it with others. She knows what suits her and her body regardless of what others will say. Those who know JaeEun wil say she's very frugal, as she saves money wherever she can. This is the kind of girl that will always charm people into giving her something for a lower price than it should be sold for. She also is the one that will keep your secrets for you. Confidential to possibly a fault, she hates to reveal what others have trusted her with and thus, most likely won't. However, this makes people trust her quite a lot. JaeEun appreciates the arts quite a lot, and seems to have a knack for them. She loves all kinds of art, from literature to sculptures to music to painting, and she herself is very creative.
All this being said, it's easy to see where JaeEun isn't quite as lovely of a person as she sounds. She is definitely the girl who will quitely push her way into someone's business. She meddles with many people and relationships on a whim. She really prefers to have influence on things. JaeEun likes to make things her business whether they are or not. She gets criticized a lot for this. She's very sly, though. Crafty and slippery as cunning, if she doesn't want to get caught, she won't. Simple as that. It's not like she doesn't use this to her benefit and amusement, though, because she does abuse the system with it. JaeEun plays very underhandedly with it if given the opportunity. She's overly cautious, sometimes to the point of paranoia. JaeEun thinks too far into the possibilities of things, mostly how they can go wrong. She worries a lot inside but takes risks anyway, to beat her fears. But that doesn't mean they've just stropped existing, because they haven't. Because of this, JaeEun is highly dependant on other people. She sometyimes feels clingy to others, particularly her bandmates because she needs them to soothe her worries, even if she doesn't quite say that outright. If no one is there for her to stick by, then she feels uncomfortable. She seeks affection and love.
This confuses people. They see her as an enigma- People just can't seem to figure her out. JaeEun is open with them, but is that real? Is anything she's saying real or is it crafted? Is this sophistication fake? Is she really just a wreck or is it more like she's hiding a huge secret? JaeEun can't help but apparently feel mysterious to others. They can't tell if she's real or not. Something about her seems to be hidden, beneath the surface. JaeEun is very shallow, and judges people based on their appearance and possessions in the beginning. She prefers to do things only if they benefit her- Not to say she won't if they don't, but thats definitely her preference. She naturally takes things at face value. She thinks a perfectly put together person is the best. That's because she's a perfectionist and works hard at every detail. It's something very much connected to her anxious patterns and over-caution. What JaeEun wants most is for everything to be perfect. She'll work for hours on end if it's going to give it a perfect look, and that's not good because she takes it to too severe of a level. JaeEun is prone to work herself to the bone and further. People will actually have to make her stop working because the details don't stop bothering her. Nowadays it's improving slightly. JaeEun is very impatient and doesn't wait for any of the members to take an hour to get ready. She pushes them right long and isn't one you want to be late to meeting with. She'll chew you out without hesitation.

BACKGROUND: It's hard for her to admit sometimes, but JaeEun was born to a family that really didn't want her. Her mother and father weren't a couple when she was born. Her parents were twenty and twenty-one when they got married, and twenty-three and twenty-four when they were divorced. JaeEun was born a few months after that divorce. Her mother, Son JaeIn, couldn't care about her in the slightest and told her father, Ha Jungnam (Birthname Duong Quang Hieu) , that either he took her or she was going to the first orphanage JaeIn could find. While Jungnam didn't want a child, he also had a soft heart. He was the one to name her, and he was the one to check her out of the hospital the next morning- JaeIn had already left, telling him to never contact her again. So here, twenty-four year old Ha Jungnam was left with a baby and some diapers. Jungnam managed on his own in his home for the first few months, but quickly realized that a baby was too expensive and he couldn't keep his house at this rate. He sold it and moved into a nearby apartment building that two of his friends lived in- Nam Insik with his wife Pénélope Moreau-Nam and their eight-month-old daughter, Nam Océane Hyemi. A few months later, their other friends, Kim Daehyun, his girlfriend Kim Sebin, and their one-month-old son Kim Taehyun also moved into the apartment building. Even though Pénélope was only semi-fluent in Korean (Having been full French, born and raised in France), all five worked in a hectic but effective schedule to raise their three children. Pénélope was truly a mother to JaeEun, and it was her who taught JaeEun all of her manners. Jungnam worked every day excluding Mondays and Saturdays, so most often JaeEun was with her. She was the one that raised her the most out of everyone in the building.
However, when JaeEun and Taehyun were seven, Hyemi eight, Pénélope, Hyemi, and Insik were moving away, to Pénélope's hometown in France. It was the best choice for them, and everyone knew it. The "family" of five slowly recovered from the loss and JaeEun made a promise as Pénélope and her family left. She promised to always be as mannerful, respectful, and sophisticated as she had been. Life moved on. JaeEun and Jungnam didn't have a lot of money- They often struggled to buy her school supplies or replace even her tennis shoes. Taehyun began to lend her a lot of clothes. He didn't mind- He, his mama, and his papa were all JaEun really had now, as Hyemi and JaeEun began to distance they moved away. They regressed from sisters to like cousins in mere months. It was devasting for JaeEun to have Pénélope leave since she was her mother, even if not by blood. Taehyun and JaeEun were now very close instead. They were the best of friends and always together in school. They told each other everything and always played together- They even shared their whole lunches! When JaeEun was ten, she encouraged her father to find another girlfriend, for his own happiness. He replied that he was happy with JaeEun by his side, but she knew that wasn't true. Her father loved her, sure, but not as much as other parents did. She saw how much Daehyun and Sebin (Now married) loved Taehyun, and how much Insik and Pénélope adored Hyemi with their every breath. They'd instinctively loved their children.
At an early age JaeEun was intelligent enough to now that her father had to work and learn to love her. She knew how much Jungnam felt guilty about that, because he wasn't a "normal" parent- Who had to try to love their daughter? Why wasn't it natural? Because she wasn't wanted when she was born and he knew it. He'd never wanted a kid, but his soft heart made him take her on anyway and there were still days he truly felt he'd made a mistake by raising her, by recognizing her as his. JaeEun knew he wasn't happy- Even if her Bố didn't love her as much as she loved him, she wanted him to love someone. He didn't for a long while. JaeEun began to rely on the Kims a lot more as she entered middle school. She was still the same as she had been as a child- Nothing really changed in her life. She did well in school, but she needed an outlet. JaeEun found that outlet in music. She fell in love with KPOP and the thought of being an idol. She tried to train herself and found a talent in rapping. At age fourteen, both she and Taehyun (She dragged him along) auditioned for SM Entertainment. Surprisingly, both were accepted. JaeEun loved training, and became absorbed in it. It was the next year that somethng amazing happened- Her father got a girlfriend. A few months after she turned sixteen, her father married Lee Sangmi, one year older than him and with a hell of a lot more money. Sangmi was very beautiful, very kind, and she adored JaeEun. She could never be Pénélope, but she could come close. JaeEun was glad to have her, and suddenly she had money. She was struggling to eat or get school supplies or clothes. She moved into a three-story house. It was amazing.
Upon graduating high school, Taehyun quit training. He didn't really care for it. JaeEun, however, was becoming nervous- Why wasn't she debuting? Was something wrong with her face? Was something wrong with her singing or rapping? Was she not perfect enough? The poor girl worked very hard to get noticed, even as she struggled her way through community college. However, in 2019 SM decided she didn't fit their image and sent her on her way to finish up her contract with Label SJ. Her original contract was for seven years, and they decided to extend it by four but just over a year later realized they just didn't want her. JaeEun could tell that's why they were sending her away. She finished up community college and focused on training. Even when Taehyun asked her to get a job and looked into other jobs, JaeEun made a promise- If I don't debut three months before the end of my contract, then I'll give up. It's my dream, yes, but I'll give up and find a new one. Classy ladies don't stay hung up on one thing for that long. She got a partime job at a local bookstore and currently works as a cashier. Training is still her main focus, however, and if she doesn't debut then she plans to work in finances, her secondary passion. Her half sister, Lee Jinhee, was conceived through in-vitro fertilization and born very healthy. JaeEun adores her more than anyone in the world.
TRAINEE YEARS: Nine years, four months and twenty-one days
TRAINEE LIFE: Trainee life at SM was pretty up and down a few times. JaeEun was young when she started and it was really fun then- However, once her fellow trainees started to debut and people started to point and whisper, she wasn't sure if she was having as much fun anymore. JaeEun had gotten in based on her looks and rapping, but SM was considered to be a more vocal company and their visuals were generally considered a "higher standard" than her visuals were. JaeEun knew if she wanted to debut, she would have to improve herself vocally. So, she focused a lot of her (Much too high number) of years on improving her vocals. She worked a lot with Jonghyun (Of SHINee) and in the earlier years and Wendy (Of Red Velvet) in the later ones. Both taught her many tricks and tips that her normal vocal trainers didn't. She had strong friendships with both them, however they weren't enough to make her vocals great, or even good. JaeEun wasn't the best at dancing (She wasn't the worst either!), but she was however, pretty great at choreographing. She never gotcredit but she helped choreograph SHINee's Prism and Red Velvet's Rookie in 2016 and 2017 respectively. That was the only use SM really had for her the whole time she trained. Not even backup vocals or dancing. Since SM had many foreign trainees she wasn't really as targeted in SM for unfair treatment by staff or trainees as she could have been in that respect, but still staff and trainees would call her The Old Girl since she'd been there so long. JaeEun was a person and ignored it. She recieved little help in her rapping but was overall happy until she just wasn't debuting. It made her nervouss, and then the day came.
'We're going to send you to Label SJ.' Oh, had JaeEun heard about that. Heard the trainees whisper, "When do you think they're gonna send her to Label SJ?" "Who, JaeEun? Why would they?" "Wait, you really haven't heard? That's where they send all the traienes they don't want!" JaeEun could only give a sweet smile and nod in acceptance. Luckily enough, Label SJ held better opportunities. She was only there for a few months before she was approached by the Leeteuk who asked to speak to her privately. Naturally, he had said that after coming in halfway through group trainee evaluations where JaeEun's group had gone first and suffered a horrible voice crack. Everyone began whispering and she could hear Geollenyeon being thrown around behind her back (And the ooh they're finally kicking her outs and the god, finally, I thought she'd never leaves and the she has no talent, who let her in here in the first place?s and more) as she bowed and left with him. She kept her calm and offered him a smile as he lead her through the halls. Once they stopped in a private room, he spoke, "Hey, listen JaeEun-ssi. I know you've only been here for a few months but I looked into some of your SM things after Jonghyun talked about you. I think you'd be a perfect member for our female project group." JaeEun took all of the jealousy and hatred within other trainees with grace and smiles. She didn't let their even-worse attempts at bullying get to her. Not to say all were like that, jealous that someone who had only been in Label SJ for a few months was in the project gruop. Some were close to her, and others respected her. Most of JaeEun's training with Label SJ has been for Miracle.

As previously stated, JaeEun and her father weren't that close. He wasn't ready nor did he want a child. He learned how to love her, but he did in fact love her. Through the years theyve gotten closer but they still aren't really that close. They can talk comfortably, and Jungnam/Hieu does call her twice a week since JaeEun lives in her own apartment. They go out once a month for lunch and JaeEun does adore her father. She wishes him happinesss and health every time they finish up a phonecall. He's proud of hard hard she's worke to achieve her dream and plans to attend Miracle's debut performance with Sangmi and Jinhee.

Sangmi was really a gift to JaeEun. She's been such an amazing mother, especially since she gave birth to her own daughter, and JaeEun admires her hard work every day. Within the next five years, Sangmi will inherit a huge automobile company from her parents and will run it. She and JaeEun are even closer than she is with her father, which is interesting. Sangmi adores JaeEun as her own and is always taking care of her. She's often dropping off meals for her and calls her twice a week, every week.

Jinhee (!!!) is the cutest little half-sister ever. JaeEun visits home just for this kid. She may be literally twenty years younger than her but who cares? Jinhee is her baby girl and JaeEun wouldn't trade her for the world. It's true that Jinhee actually favors her sister over her parents, and JaeEun is lowkey proud of that. She's always offering to babysit her and always cuddles her whenever she's around. It's really funny how much she gushes about her half-sister.

Taehyun is the best friend JaeEun could ever ask for. They honestly know everything about each other, and they never keep anything from each other. Taehyun has supported JaeEun her whole life and she really doesn't know what she'd do without him. Sure, he teases her mercilessly wit, especially with the nickname "Milady," but it's all in harmless fun. She always bites back with an asuming low blow and innocent expression. Taehyun and JaeEun currently room together in an apartment. JaeEun has promised to keep paying her half of the rent, even if she's always at the dorm during debut and comebacks. They can easily tell each other, "I love you."

Korean name Nam Hyemi, French name Océane Nam, she used to be Taehyun and JaeEun's neighbor. However, she moved to France with her parents and they lost contact after a few months. However, more recently, Hyemi made an effort to get back in touch with her fomrer best friends. They've reconnected to a degree but it's not the same. They're simply friends, the kind you'd hang out with when you're bored and none of your other friends are free.

- Her father is full Vietnamese (Her mother was Korean), but lived in Korean for the second half of his life so he adopted a Korean name. JaeEun's Vietnamese name is Duong Thi Lanh, first name being Lanh.
- JaeEun calls her father Bố, the northern dialect in Vietnam to call your father, since he speaks in a Northern dialect.
- This was the result of the last time she tried to draw a person. She's never shown anyone because she doesn't like it. JaeEun liked it at first, but then she colored it and felt she ruined it.
- Once JaeEun really wanted to go to a concert when she was, like, sixteen. It was a foreign band and they were visiting South Korea for the first time but her father said it was too far away and wouldn't let her go so she locked herself in her room his whole birthday.
- Her favorite song is SHINee's Winter Wonderland.

Kim Jonghyun is a really gentle guy. He always takes other's feelings into consideration and tries to handle things in the nicest way possible. His actions themselves are soft, and Jonghyun can't help but be a soft-spoken person most of the time. He's also very accepting- A while back he made a post about accepting ual minorities. He doesn't care about anything that may be "wrong" with you, he accepts everyone and everything no matter what. Jonghyun is a very intuitive guy- He knows when somthing is wrong with someone, and he's almost always right when it comes to instinct. This natural ability to know things comes in handy, especially when to comes to relationships. Jonghyun is quite the romantic. Writing songs for his lovers, going on the cutest of dates- His favorite thing to do is cuddle. He seriously is the most romantic guy you'll meet, it's an air about him that screams that he's absolutely amazing in all aspects of romance. Jonghyun is a really busy person. He has barely any time for anything besides work, much less time for friends and family. He does his radio show evern night from midnight to two in the morning, solo promotiones more recently, as well as SHINee scedules. He write a lot of songs, takes care of his dog, he simply has a lot to do. He's quite stressed with all of these things to do- After all, being an idol is never easy, especially not for one that's been going since 2008. All of these things Jonghyun can admit, but not the one thing that he hates to let anyone know- His insecurities. He's seriously not confident with his abilities, his looks since his car accident in 2013. Without SHINee, he feels like he's nothing because there's no one there to hold him up. It's something that hurts him to his core.
RELATIONSHIP: Jonghyun and JaeEun first met as trainee to established idol and vocal trainer in 2010. JaeEun had just started training and had a lot to learn, so SM put Jonghyun up to the task. The two were fast friends despite the fast that JaeEun was fourteen and Jonghyun was twenty- He found her to be very charming and cute. JaeEun really respected as an idol and had been a fan of SHINee since she first discovered them. Soon enough JaeEun was the annoying hoobae who never stopped sending him messages, or so Jonghyun thought. He didn't really mind, but what he didn't realize was that it was him who initiated most of their conversations. The two enjoyed a full three years as a trainer-student, sunbae-hoobae pair before Jonghyun and SHINee became much too busy. JaeEun would be lying if she didn't cry when Jonghyun got into his car accident in 2013, and if she said she didn't visit him in the emergency room even though the accident was at one a.m. It wasn't until JaeEun was transferred to Miracle SJ that Jonghyun really took notice to how much he missed her. After slipped a few suggestions to Leeteuk Hyung, he hoped for her to debut.
Jonghyun was thrilled when Miracle debuted. He hoped that he could meet them backstage or on Blue Night Radio. Once they did (On one of the two, doesn't really matter) they get very close again. JaeEun began to text him every day again, anf they were onec again friends. She always named him as her best friend in the industry, citing how he helped her a lot with training. It's unfortunate because she drifted away from Wendy as well after getting vocal lessons...So JaeEun counted on Jonghyun to get her back in contact with Wendy. It wasn't a very interesting journey from friends to lovers, because it was slow and natural. Nothing big and important happened, nothing dramatic or sad, they just got closer. They loved skinship with each other and found the other's happiness being their own. Within two years of their reunion, Jonghyun was asking her out on a date, and JaeEun agreed. Nothing much changed, they were still close friends with a lot of skinship, now they kissed.

I'm very glad I was able to apply again. ^^ Nowadays female rappers are expected to look (And be, quite often) badass, masculine, playful, fiery, all of these things and I wanted to break the mold by giving my character a sophisticated look and personality- Hence my choices in FCs. I hope you enjoyed it as well as my app! If you can't find enough of Somin, please feel free to use Wendy, IU, or Youngji. They're all classy beauties so I couldn't decide who should be my backup. XD Jonghyun's personality is so short compared to Nayoung's but. :'') I feel like JaeEun is hella contradictory, so like- She's very open about herself but others don't realize that. They still find her hard to figure out. She's also the type to keep secrets for others but not about herself unless she wants to have some fun. JaeEun has a naturally calm aura but she does worry about a lot of things, just not in a panicky way. That makes sense, right? I hope so. Aaaa the background was hard to write because JaeEun's struggle with her dad (Well, her dad's struggle with her, really) is based off of someone I once met and it's just a sad reality. :'') At the same time I hate the way I wrote her background and lowkey wanna rewrite it so I might-- This app isn't my best, I'm sorrry. ;_;
