Okay hear me up. Who said having life "like the movies" is the basis for 'normal'? Everyone of us has his tastes. Honestly, I've done a lot of things you included in your list, but if you haven't done anything like those, that doesn't make your youth 'un-normal'. I haven't drunk alcohol though I wanted to. Never had , never been kissed, never had a boyfriend, I didn't have a plethora of makeup collections, I haven't got my license, I haven't entered any club, I haven't had my prom yet, I haven't fallen deeply in love, but I have my friends, and I'm telling you, those friends, my friends are more than enough to make my life exceed the "normal" stage. Thanks to my family and friends, my life is beyond extraordinary. I hope it's the same with you.

I don't consider it "high school shown in movies" normal but I did do a few of the things mentioned. I had my group of friends and I lost friends. I went to the mall, I did my make-up some days, other days I didn't. No partners (until 19, doesn't feel like that go under the high school age, lol), since drivers license is first legal here at 18, yes, I got my license at 18 when I was allowed. I drank alcohol at 15 (legally!), I went to a few (very few) parties, I went to the equivalent to prom, I had a job as a teenager.
I was also highly depressed in my teenage-years so I don't remember any of the above to be very important (except from the group of friends, they were a huge part of everything in my teenage-years and not only positively).
I don't really consider teenage-years exciting either. But I mean, I did do some of it so. ; _ ;
