i'm tired and nervous and AAAAAH I NEED SOME LUCK | need some feedback from filipino users

okay so i've been so FRKN BUSY WITH PRACTICES FOR MY CLUB'S SHOWCASE that i haven't really done much on here in a couple of days buuuuut the show is this friday and I'M FREAKING OUT

i'm a part of one of my school's clubs, and it's basically the filipino club (ya don't have to be pinoy tho), and our club's showcase is a hybrid skit/choir/cultural dancing/hiphop dancing show thingy (it's so hard to explain LOL) and i'm pretty prepared for most of my dances except for one cultural dance that i'm just gonna resort to copying the person in front of me for (wow go me)

BUUUUUUUUT

this is where i need feedback LOL

so for any of my filipino friends on here (or if you happen to stumble on this blog and you're filipino; ayo wassup) i need some opinions

i'm singing lupang hinirang at the beginning of the show and i'm actually quite nervous because i literally feel like all my attempts aren't quite good LMAO

would it be bad to sing the song in a lower key instead of the usual female key singers do it in (like charice or morisette amon)? Also would it be better to make the pace fast since it's a marching song or keep it at a pace i'm more relaxed in? i'd really like some help pls i don't wanna sound baduy LOL

WISH ME LUCK GUYS I'M GONNA SLEEP FOR ETERNITY AFTER FRIDAY YEEEEEET

Helloooo i'm a filo, and you can just sing it in a lower key, but make sure you're tuned lol. And I was the music club head last year, and our moderator, i remember she told us to sing the anthem with it's fast pace. I'm not sure but she said it like 'it's disrespectful' or something, just sing it in the original pace and lower key~

Okay. Hi! I'm Filipino! Haha. Yes, you can sing in a lower key. Those female singers that you mentioned sing high AF to show off their vocal skills, but usually, as long as you sing it right, even in a lower tone, you're good to go. Also, it's sung fast pace because it is a marching song.

actually it's better to sing it in the original marching pace cuz in our consti, you are not supposed to change the style of lupang hinirang which is why past singers were being called off about it
