PERSONALITY TRAITS:

Negative:stubborn, messy, untidy,  rowdy , impulsive , touchy  ambitious , sometimes a bit spoilt. 

PERSONALITY:

Jeongsu seems naive and innocent at first but he is actually a pretty strong and determined boy . Despite his young age he has a very clear idea about who he wants to become  and has spent a lot of years of training in order to pursue his dreams.He has always been an outgoing and affectionate person who will do everything for the sake of his friends and , even when things seems worse , never lose heart and hope .

He is pretty determined and ambitious in doing what he wants , not being afraid of anything or anyone (even the CEO xD ) , and always help the other people when they endure abuses and injustices .

Unfortunately the fact that he is always  frank and honest is is mistaken by some people as pride and the fact that Jeongsu is pretty inpulsive  doesn't help him . In fact , the boy usually doesn't thinks too much befor speaking and this sometimes gets in trouble not only him but also others trainees , and this is something that makes him feel very guilty even if he actually doesn't do it on purpose . Anyway , Jeongsu his not only honest but also  sensitive ,empathetic and wholehearted. In fact, he always tries to help other people and make them smile  .

Another particular charactheristic of Jeongsu is the fact that he has alwas been very messy since he was a child .  It seems that he has never known how to tidy up his rooms and to dress in a polite and tidy way . He is like this probably because he grown up with a nice a permissive mother who used treat him like "a some sort of little Prince who didn't do anything to help them with the house (as Jinyoung , a trainees now debuted as an idol , who used to be one of his roomates, usually said when he gets angry with Jeongsu for his untidiness ) . When he was young he used to argue with the other trainees who used to be his roomates (even if then they made up and become friends again like nothing is happen) but recently  he has started to try to be more tidy (even if it is difficult for him. xD ). 

 

BACKGROUND: 

Park Jeongsu was born in the suburbs of Jeju City , the capital of Jeju Island , at the beginning of 1999 ,as the first and only child of a modest but kind young couple .
His parents meets when they were still in high school and then , when they graduated they decided to get married despite their young age and their not prosperous economic situation . In fact , Jaesuk , Jungsu's father , was only a workman and Kyuwon, his mother had just found a job as a saleswoman in a small bookshop owned by a generous old man who , after his dead , left the bookshop to her because he never had any family member . Despite this sudden luck , life was still hard for the two of them because they had to work the entire day to earn money for their family who widened in 1999 , whit Jeongsu's birth.
Jeongsu, who was born a few years after the wedding, due to the fact his parents had to work a lot , spent the first three year of his life almost only with his paternal granmother , Kyunghwa , who , unlike his mathernal grandparents , has always supported his son and his choice to married at an early age despite his economic situation . From she he laerns a lot of things , especially to take care of other people and don't be afraid of express his own opinions and ideas .

Jeongsu has always been a very noisy and curious kid who gets bored easily so that he doesn't like to stay always at home .
When he grown up a bit his grandmother started to bring him in to the bookshoop , which had become partly a comic shop , owned by his mother . Jungsu instantly fell in love with that place full of colours and things to see . Thanks to this he became soon very fond of both books and comics . It become his favourite place like a sort of Wonderland and thanks to his passions for book and comics he learned how to read at neither five years old .
The colourful comics , the very well drawn manga and manhwa and , later, the interesting fanatasy ,sci-fi and aventure books , he loves to read help him to overcome all the sad events of his life , including the death of his father . In fact his father died when Jungsu was almost six years old for an accident at work and this fact was so unexpected and painful that , despite his very young age , deeply affected him and made him to become more affectionate and kindhearted towards his mom and his grandmother first and , then, towards other people in general . From that moment on Jungsu has become the kind of person who likes to make the other smile , especialy when they are sad or dispirited . When he see a person sad he always tries to make him or her smile , sometimes making one of his famous funny expression .

When he was a small child , thanks to manga, he also becomed very fond of anime . The first animes he loved and watched was Dragonball and Saint Seiya but he soon becomed a fan of a lot of anime , from the most known among his school mate like Naruto and One Piace , to the less know like Shaman King and Beyblade . The things he loves the most about anime , anyway, was their opening and endings whose music was almost always very catchy and "magical" for him . He started to listen to music and to sing just thanks to anime openings and endings . He loves to sing these song in almost every moment of day , especially when he was very happy and this habits is still present today (he use to suddently start to sing anime's song in both the droms and during fanmeeting , usually involving the other trainees.) . When he grew up a bit he becomes also to search on internet news about the singer of the anime's song he likes and he found Jpop and JRock and became an avid fan of it . His favourite singer becomes Kimeru , the one who sung his favourite openings of two of his favourite anime , Prince of Tennis and Yu Gi Oh Duel Monsters .

When his passion/hobby of singing become huge he started to think about becoming a singer , just like the ones who does anime's opening and endings, and so persuaded his mother to start to have music and singing lessons . 
Despite they don't have a lot of money , his mother and his grandmother managed to make him took piano and singing lessons with other children in a little music course near their house .
He was almost six years old when he starts and as time went by he becomed one of the most hardworking and skilled singer and pianist of the course .
Jeongsu's voice has always been a nice voice but, at first, it wasn't a "stunning" voice who differentiate him from many other singers . It was is hard work in practicing that made his singing voice very particular and harmonious.

When he started primary school he continued to sing a lot every day even in the class ,when the teacher was absent , and during the playground .
He was also chosen to be part of the school's choir that perform during school festivals . Many of his classmates and schoolmates likes it but there are some school's students who doesn't like him a lot because of his habits of singing and his pretty good voice .
There were in particular three bossy female students , who were only one or two years older than Jungsu , who don't like him at all also because he was one of the few people that had the guts to fight them when they bullied other kids .
These three girls , who were known by all the schools for be pretty bossy and wrangler, doesn't like Jungsu's because for them it was only a little attention seeker .
Moreover, these girls were big fan of Super Junior , an idol group who had just debuted at that time , and as soon as they realized that their schoolmate's name was exactly the same of the leader of Super Junior (Leeteuk real name is Park Jeongsu) they stared to bully him even more .
Jeongsu , who never knows kpop music and Super Junior at that time , spent terrible moment but continue to sing when he wanted and where he wanted (except when the teacher was in class, obviously). He also used to fight a lot with them and was even punished for this a lot of times .
Fortunately , the three bullies graduated from primary school two years after Jungsu so he could spent some times quietly.

A part of the bullying issue , he has always enjoyed to go to school . Anyway ,despite his love for school he has never been a swot or a smartass . His marks has always been average but he has always liked to learn new things and talk with other people about common and "normal" things (especially about teachers' funny or orrible personalities) , knowing different people who has different hobbies and different dreams.
Even now who is a student of S.O.P.A. he likes it because it makes him feel more "normal" and let him to rest from the stressful idol life .
He has always liked the playground moment when he could talk , play with his classmates and make them learn how to play table games and card games like Duel Monsters.
Another big hobbies of Jeongsu, in fact , has always been to play table and card games due to the fact that the bookshop of his mother has always been a place full of table games , whicch him like more than computer gomes.
His favourite type of games, anyway , has always been "card games" .
In fact , he started to play Pokemon trading card game when he was only 5 years old , after watching the older kids who used to play it in his mother's shop .
Then , he suddenly fell in love with Duel Monsters , a trading card game inspired by the one in the anime Yu Gi Oh.

He started to play it at the age of eight years old and , like what happened with music , his "practicing" allowed him to become one of the most skilled player in his neighborhood in very few years .
He  won a lot of the tournaments organized by his mother bookshop (and not because he was the owner soon xD) and the amateurish tournaments that some schoolmates used to organize .
Once he even took part in the Regional tournament , when he was almost 10 years old , and placed sixth among the junior players .
It was thanks to this tournament that a young manager who worked at JYP Entertainment, noticed him and his voice .
In fact , at the end of the torunament it was organized a Karaoke contest and Jungsu , who was still happy for his seventh place , took part in it .
The JYP manager, who was here to support his younger sister who had taken part in the same card tournament , saw Jungsu powerful performance of "Overlap" (a song by Kimeru which is also one of the openings  of the anime "Yu Gi Oh") and ask him if he wants to audition for becoming a trainee in the idol company he was worked for and if he can meet also his parents to talk about it .

At first the still young Jeongsu thought it was a joke but ,then , when the man show him his visiting card , he realizes that the man was really a JYP 's employee as he said.
Jeongsu was overjoyed and , after told the young man he was also studying music in order to become a singer , bring him to his mother .
At first she was a bit worried about the fact that is son , who was still a child , couldn't have beared both the difficult live of a trainee and to live in Seoul , a city so far from his home but in the end , seeing her son determination she decides to let him audition for JYP Entertainment.
After practicing singing even more than he usually do , Jeongsu took part in the audition and , despite at first the CEO was a bit against to take as a trainee a very young boy who can't dance properly , in the end, he was accepted as a trainee with a promise to commit a lot to learn to dance almost as well as he sings.

So , in 2010 , the eleven years old Jungsu started his difficult life as a trainee who last for almost six years in which , thanks of his hardworks , and the help of the other trainees (especially Park Jinhyoung and Im Jaebum better know as Jinhyoung and JB of GOT7, now) , he managed to become a very good dancer and a very strong and powerful singer .
During his trainee's years he become a good friend with all the other male trainees , the ones that , later, debuted as GOT7 . He was younger than many of them but he enjoyed stay with them and learn many things about dancing , singing and also songwriting.
In fact , despite the age difference and the fact that he always used to quarrel with one of them, he was very close to GOT7's JB and Jinhyoung at that time and , thanks to them, gradually become keen on songwriting.

Unfortunately , he wasn't able to debut with them due to his young age (in 2014 she was still 15 years old) . He was a bit sad and angry at the beginning but , then, he decided to work even more harder and to learn , a part of dancing ,singing and playing the piano in a better way,  also how to write songs properly , in order to debut in the next JYP 's entertainment male group .
In fact , Jeongsu, as time went by , realize that he would be really happy is he is part of a group instead of being a soloist.In fact, after seeing how many times his sunbaenim, 2PM, they were happy to support each other before, During and after concerts he was convinced that it would be really nice to be part of a group.
Also with this goal in his mind , he has always tried to know more the new jyp male trainees and become friend with them .
Unfortunately , not all of them become close with him , due to his ambitious character, but he was able to develop a strong friendship with many of them , even more stronger that the one he has with JB and Jinhyoung .
Anyway ,despite their bond isn't strong as before because they barely see each other, he still friend with them and all the GOT7 members  .

TRIVIA:

╳ He is currently a student at Seul "School of performing Arts" (SOPA), department of Practical Music (he is currently in his last year)

╳ He admires a lot 2PM and their leader, Jun.K.

╳ Despite they barely see each other  he  is still a good friend with  JB and Jinhyung (who is  probably very happy to don't have Jeongsu as a roomate anymore . xD) and also with Mark, Jackson, Bam Bam , Yugyeom and Youngjae. 

╳ He is a fan of JRock and Visual Key and likes listening to the band "the Gazette" 

╳ According to his classmates and his friends he  is 50% music lovers, 25% otaku and 25% bookworm.

╳ He would like to sing an ost for an anime (like 2PM did for the anime "Blue Exorcist" ) . 

╳ He would like to take part in a Musical (especially if there will ever be a Korean version of the "Tenimyu" ) 

╳ His "ideal type" is someone who love him for who he really is . Anyway , he doesn't like to talk about love relationships (he become very awkward). 

╳ His favourite variety show is Weekly Idol and one of his biggest wish is to go on that show. 

╳ He likes reading and he is often seen to read a book or a comic book during his free-time . 

╳ His favorite kind of books are fantasy books and his favorite writers are Philipp Pullman , J.K Rowling and Charles Dickens.

╳ When he writes songs he  usually takes inspiration from books , comics and manga more thant to his life. 

╳ He is pretty good at doing aegyo (or , at least, he thinks he is) .

First of all I'm not a native Eglish speaker and I'm really sorry for the mistakes I probably made in writing this application. 

I'm not very good in writing application, because I always think that I can't make a good and interesting character, but I wanted to take part in this story . 

I hope that you like my Jeongsu and that a characters like him could be an interesting contestant of "Sixteen 2". ^_^
