Posting stories on Tumblr????

HELLO MY BEAUTIFUL MONSTERS!

I've missed you all!! How's life? Mine is decent, not great but I'm good. I'm just wanting suggestions today. I was thinking about posting some of my stories on Tumblr. The responses are more consistent and more of a fan base. I'm not saying I'm never going to post on here but I just wish some would comment on here. I'll still be grateful for whatever comments I get on both sites but I wanted some feedback about your experiences with writing on here and tumblr? Is there a difference? Which site do you prefer? :)

Eh, in my opinion you need to establish yourself as a writer in your fandom on tumblr to get a response. If you don't, the response is going to be just as sparse as it is here. Getting a like is just as satisfactory as getting a subscriber (and I don't necessarily mean "yaaay you saved my day!" when I say that) and I may be asking for too much but a reblog without comments in the tags feel pretty bland too. I love my fandom on tumblr, it's funny, it's helpful and it's amazing. But as a writer, I'd say it takes a lot to get feedback on tumblr too.
So although I practically worship tumblr over AFF - I still post on AFF because I actually get some kind of tiny response on AFF. I don't on tumblr.
