Story Ideas and Video Games
First of all, I'm not sure why I felt the need to write a blog post, but what the hell I'm going to do it anyways.
Stories, stories, where do I begin? I've got two I'm currently working on and yet it seems it's not enough. I've recently gotten two other ideas in my head and have honestly done my best to just not focus on them and work on the other stories. But it seems I've failed. I honestly respect those writers who can force themselves not to publish a fic and just focus on one at a time. It 'cause one of the ones I'm working on is entered in a writing contest and I'm like, Zan, upload that sh*te after you finish that story because it's the most important - deadlines! I'm gonna force myself to do it even though I'm so tempted to upload lmao Got to get my priorities straight.
Onto the stories, honestly, I'm still outlining and planning right now but I'm actually really excited to continue writing them.
The first, which I plan on uploading after I finish one of my fics is a Mamamoo and Exo fanfic, because my love for Mamamoo these days is on par with Exo. Solar, Moonbyul and an OC will be the main characters, and I'm honestly hoping I can pull the plot off because Solar happens to be a queen, and to be quite honest, I'm nervous that I won't get the governmental aspect of the story correct. Researching can be really fun sometimes, but just... government, politics, man. I get distracted so easily it's not even funny. Anyways, Solar is a queen with an uptight personality, Moonbyul is her ex-friend and a warrior, who is supposedly dead, and the OC is a drunkard and past war hero. Still working on the plot, but I'm so excited.
Another thing, I really can't seem to escape from fantasy. There's just something about the genre that really attracts me and literally I could NOT help myself but add a dash of fantasy into the story. It's not a lot, in fact, it's not even a big part of the plot (I mean, I think?).
I do plan on making it an OC x exo member - who it will be, man, I don't know. So far, I'm leaning towards Xiumin because I love him, he's adorable and he really just needs some love. I'm also leaning towards making it have a bit of MoonSun, primarily friendship, but you know, I'd like to have a bit of romance (but mostly just friendship, because although I love reading romance stories for some reason I don't care for writing them). So yeah, that's in the works. Who's gonna care? I don't know, but you're aware now so clap your hands if you've made it this far into the blog post!
Shia is thankful for your attention, reader.
Onto the second story, it's going to be a playful mystery in a school setting. Now, I love mystery. Who doesn't? But writing a mystery that is actually good, well, you got me there. I don't plan on making it a full on mystery with red herrings around every corner or anything like that, but it's gonna have more of a scooby doo vibe to it? Like, a bit on the comical, wacky side? That's what I'm getting so far. The characters will be young - about fifteen, I would say? I'm going to try my best to make the main character a quirky, overly curious girl with too much time on her hands and an imagination that goes beyond all. Still working on the "mystery" aspect of the story, but I'm going to try my best and hope that I actually do get it done and that it will just be a lighthearted read to make someone happy while reading. I like happy, you like happy, we all like happy!
Honestly, I feel I made this blog post because I have nothing better to do. I'm in a bit of a depressive slump right now, so I decided to write this to make me feel better. You guys made it to the end? Get a kiss.
gifs make me happy...
Anyways, the blog is over. Have a nice day. I hope you're not in a sh*t mood like I am.
And goodbye.
But real quick, onto video game news! Enough with the overly depressive talk and onto the exciting stuff. Resident Evil 7: Biohazard has come out and I am loving the frick out of it.
Just look at those images! Aren't they just gorgeous? Sadly, I haven't been able to play the game because, well, I'm broke, however, I am watching multiple YouTubers play it and it's honestly so intriguing. Plus, them graphics. You can never go wrong with some top quality graphics. I'm tempted to start making blogs where I just go over video games - like those people who go over movies - but I don't know... Maybe like review them? Would anyone check those out? Are there any other video game lovers? I would gladly go over Resident Evil 7 and give my humble opinions on it, because boy, I have a few.
And also, any The Last of Us fans out there? If you have never heard of it, then I'm going to tell you now play the game or watch someone else play the game because it is honestly one of the best godd*amn games of all time, in my opinion. And what do I get to make my fangirl feels explode after the start of The Walking Dead game season three comes out with two episodes?
A Last of Us 2 trailer. Oh my God. I cannot.
Just look at her. My Ellie. *cries* I have waited over two years for this long awaited sequel, and I am honestly so stoked for it to come out. I'll save up all my money for this. Oh my God. Naughty Dog take my money!
Anyways, I had to cheer myself up somehow, and what better way to do so then talk about the things I'm passionate about? Stories, video games - I love them, I really do. If you did happen to read this entire blog, well then, I really appreciate that. You're an awesome human being. This somehow managed to cheer me up a bit. I don't feel like the biggest pile of stinking horse sh*t anymore.
Question: Would any of you be interested in video game reviews? :/
