► Areum is, Captivating. Her looks are stunning, and she uses it to her advantage. She draws attention wherever she goes. She has this confident aura about her that just draws people in. She's very confident. Areum is confident in everything. Whatever she does she knows she'll do well. She's very self assured. It helps that Shinwoo was there to back her up. It doesn't help that Areum wasn't scared of anything. Pain was her friend, danger was her love. She wasn't even scared of Shinwoo. Even with that, she was still elegant. Her confident aura made her seem elegant to people that didn't know her. She could wear anything and make it look elegant. Just because she's bad, doesn't mean she isn't smart. Areum has straight As in school and is the one that plans things out. She is the one who's helped the gang avoid jail, She knows what she's doing. Let's not even doubt how persuasive she is. ► After finding out she was pregnant, Anong changed 180°. Anong became alert of everything. She was always looking around, taking in her surroundings. Nothing would slip by without her noticing. She was borderline paranoid. She became calm. She was no longer confident and loud. She calmed down a lot. Anong could do anything she set her mind to. Having a kid makes you think, so she did. Anong can now do basically anything around the house, from fixing the pipes to even gardening. She really had to learn a lot. However, Anong still kept her elegance. It was different though. She gave off an elegant, mature feel rather than an elegant confident feel. She was gentle. She restrained herself, became a gentle person. Anong couldn't hurt a fly. Not at the rate she was going. She was mature. Being a mother does that to you. She became responsible, mature. She never would act childish, not in this life.
► Anong was absent minded. It's what happens when she things about something really hard. PAST /
► Anong was born in London, England to a Thai father and an English mother. Anong's dad was a military man so he wasn't in her life often, not that she minded. Anong's mother raised her by herself and Anong listened well. She always admired her mother for it. She was a good kid, she did well in school, had lost of friends. Anong was a sweet girl, always helping out, always making sure everyone was happy, but when she was 14, her mother died. Anong was alone, she changed, became rebellious. He dad didn't even care. She didn't do anything bad enough o get kicked out of school, but she sure knew how to charm boys into doing whatever she wanted. She never listened to her dad, there was no need to listen, he was only going to be with her for a week at a time. She drank, she partied, but she never got caught. Anong knew what she was doing. It was widely known that she was a heartbreaker that didn't give a about anyone. Her father still tried though. Anong pushed him away, there was no need to have him in her life, she was doing just fine.
► Then, her father was deployed to Korea, taking her with him. Anong moved into a house by herself. She was new, didn't know the language, and she had no idea what she would do. The school schedule was so different. Then she met Shinwoo. He was the light in her life. He helped her out since he was her neighbor. He was over at her house often, an empty house and two teens, smart idea. Together, the two ruled the school. She loved it. They were the ultimate power couple, and Shinwoo would do anything for her. He'd spoil her to no end. He's spend all his money on her, gave her affection that she loved and, he was cute, so bonus. They spent countless nights in her empty house since her father rarely came around. They did everything there.
► When Shinwoo was taken to Jail, Aerum was lost. She had no idea what to do, and being pregnant. She couldn't tell her father, he didn't even know she had a boyfriend. In the end, she did tell him. He was disappointed in her, but he helped her out. Most of his money went to her. He quit the army just to help her. Anong finished school in Busan and moved to Seoul right after.

► Anong had left Busan with her father after she had graduated. They moved to Seoul where her father could make more money while Anong could focus on raising her son. It all went well. Anong lived a good life with her father until in 2003, he died. What she didn't know, was that he bought a house, and left it to her. It was in Busan. Anong briefly went to London for a funeral for her father. Her was buried next to her mother. However, now Anong was stressing because she had a house to pay, food to buy, a house to keep clean and a child to raise, all by herself. She got inheritance from her father, but she knew it wouldn't last long.
► Once Anong got back to Busan and moved all her stuff, she looked for a job. It was hard because she couldn't afford a babysitter and she needed a well paying job. She did what she could. Little jobs that required no experience. She did that for 2 years until her son, Jinwoo was 5 and went to school. After that, she worked at a cafe, not the best, but it helped. There, she met Chaewon, her best friend. Chaewon was a writer and needed a place to stay, so Anong opened her home. Chaewon paid for half of everything, it was a good deal and Chaewon liked Jinwoo.
► A bit later, she met Joseph who has been her friend since the first day she met him. He was friendly, and spoke Thai so could practice. It was wonderful. Her helped her start an online English tutoring program. It was her job and it pays well, so why not? She could raise Jinwoo comfortably without the help of Chaewon. Anong spent time with Jinwoo and worked. She could help him with everything and she was there for him. She loved it. He didn't have to see her struggle. It also helped that Joseph asked her out, and Anong accepted, though it took a while, like, they've been friends for 10 years before he asked her out.
► Currently, Anong works as an English tutor. She tutors kids through Skype and she gets lots of money for it. Joseph is always around so he helps and Jinwoo is comfortable around him. When Anong found it Shinwoo was being released, she was relieved. He would be able to be free again. She felt guilty all those years because she was in jail, for her. However, no one knew about her past so she couldn't share it with anyone. It didn't help that she would probably be the only one happy he was getting out.

I flinched at the question and sighed softly. What would I change? I thought to myself, reminiscing through my high school life. "Shinwoo going to jail..." I answered softly. "I would've handled the situation better if I knew he would actually shoot.." I sighed again and looked down.
