- APPEARANCE: Minseo isn't very recognized for her visuals, but she has them. A cute face, shapely body, and pretty nice abs for an eighteen-year-old girl, she's actually pretty damn attractive. Minseo is 167 cm and 51 kg. She had four prominent scars to point out- One is on her chin, in first grade she got into a fistfight over someone trying to steal her ice cream and got nailed in the jaw hard enough to break the skin. It's a scar about half an inch long that lies over her jawline- Don't worry, she broke the other girl's nose right after. Another is on Minseo's right calf, her older brother Minho stripped and accidentally dropped boiling hot ramyun on her leg- She has a pretty nasty scar so if she's not wearing jeans to cover it, the stylists put her in tights or cover it up with makeup. The next is on her lower back, she had a mole removes and you can hardly tell unless you're looking for it, but it exists. The final is on her right palm, she wasn't looking and accidentally grabbed the wrong part of a knife when she was eleven. It's a scar about three and a half inches long, white and a bit curved. Besides that all, there is nothing of importance to note.
STYLE: What does Minseo like to wear? Well, I can tell you one thing for sure- A lot of high-waisted shorts. In fact, high-waisted everything is a total plus. Honestly, her closet doesn't have much variety color-wise. Almost everything is black, white, or dark blue. She wants to be either cute or comfy, normally cute. Minseo is prepared to sacrifice being comfortable on a plane if she can be beyond cute. When it's colder she wears a jacket of some sort- Sometimes with shorts, others with leggings and jeans. A skirt is possible as well. She's a fan of striped and plaid for her shirts. Her formal basically matches her normal color scheme despite being done by her stylists, a lot of black and white and dark blue. Normally she'll wear short dresses, but occasionally a blouse and skinny jeans work if it's between formal and casual. At the airport, she deviates a bit and wears light blue a lot, just to change is up for the fans. Almost all of her pajamas are nightgowns, some uglier than others but if she likes the material, she'll buy it. Minseo has a lot of color variety there, from yellow to pink to purple to white to grey...Like I said, the material. She only ever wears heels and tennis shoes, if she wears something different its because she was forced. Minseo hates boots, flats, sandals, etc. She actually has a lot of different pairs of glasses, from clear plastic with big frames to thin, black metal ones. She prefers cheap to expressive there. Her makeup tends to be on a more natural side, as her skin is very pale and she feels that intense makeup looks bad of her. Her nails are painted once a month, but only once. — Above all, Minseo is very ambitious. She wants what she wants, and she's going to get there. This is simply how she is- Minseo strives to be the top in her class, to be the best trainee, to surpass her brother. She's overly competitive, after all. With her brother a world-class idol, model, MC, and actor, she's got a lot to live up to, and she intends on doing it, believe me. She will always do her best to win- Besides, that brother is Choi Minho, of course she's competitive with him around. Minseo is quite optimistic, and thus she believes she and others can do anything. This optimism is a key part of her personality, always shining through in even the worst of situations. Minseo is highly independent, though, so she's likes to do things for herself. The moment she could, Minseo moved right out to live on her own. She's best when alone. Minseo is very forgiving. She's not the kind of person who holds grudges- They simply eat her up, and thus she doesn't see any reason to hold them. She's normally the first to apologize, and isn't afraid to says she's wrong. She is a very rational person, and always makes the decisions that are best for everyone. Minseo gets all the facts and accepts her shortcomings, unlike many. A lot of this rationality helped her mostly beat her anxiety. She's also highly adaptable- Minseo can change herself to fit any situation, and that's not an exaggeration. From her personality, to appearance to her attitude and facial expression.
— Depending on who's around, Minseo can show her most favorable traits more than her less-than-desirable ones. It's strange, how she can seem to change to please others. It pisses a few people off, though. This girl is very honest. She doesn't like to tell lies, nor speak only half-truths. Minseo feels that lies only complicate things and hurts others, and thus her ever telling a lie is something rare and unbelieveable to those who know her. She would only lie to help others. Minseo is a very unconventional kind of girl. She likes to do things in her own strange way, which, while it weirds out other people, works well. She tends to do things in her own little weird way. Minseo is a very athletic person. She lives and breathes sports- Be it soccer, basketball, gymnastics, it doesn't matter. Sports always excite her, and she's always the first to the practice rooms, be is midnight or three in the morning. A lesser trait of her, but nothing that makes her an awful person is her ertedness. She openly stared at hot guys, and isn't afraid to admit her ual attraction to them. She always makes the dirtiest jokes the make some member blush, some laugh, and some totally exasperated. She likes to see the reactions, it's really funny. Somehow, Minseo has ended up as a very selfish person. She often prefers does things if they benefit her in some way, and good luck getting her to let you borrow something, much less share. She believes looking out for number one.
— Minseo simply finds it better to care about herself than other people. She's highly irresponsible, and doesn't see the problem with it. It's not uncommon to hear Minseo say something like, "Responsibility isn't for me," or, "No, someone else can do it." She never takes the responsibility she needs to for her actions, which is something awful about her. She's very unorganized, and lays the blame on that as to why she can't take responsibility for things. "I might lose your phone if you give it to me," or, "Last time Unnie told me to watch her money, we didn't find it for three months." And it's true. She can't keep all of her things organized and where she can find them. She's such a worrier- "Unnie was supposed to be home an hour ago, why isn't she here yet? Did something happen?" "Ah, did I leave the stove on? I bet I did, the house is gonna burn down!" Those kinds of thoughts are always on her mind. It's in her nature to worry. Minseo is indecisive about many things, and despite her critical and selfish personality, she relies on others to help her or make her decisions for her. Making decisions is something that scares her- What if she makes the wrong one? Though she always looks at the positive, there's always that little voice in the back of her mind, a lingering anxiety from childhood, letting her know all the ways this once choice can mess up. Minseo tends to be very temperamental because of this and just because it's who she is. She's often touchy, and occasionally can have a short temper.
— However, this can be attributed to her spontaneity. She doesn't think before doing and just goes ahead at full speed. She's very spur-of-the-moment and doesn't like to make plans. Minseo's comfort zone is pretty high, she loves to try new things, even if they seem scary. She's pretty adventurous in that respect. She's one for extreme sports and trying weird and gross-seeming food. Unpredictable in a fun way. She's hard to trick, though- It's nearly impossible, she can pick up on nearly anything. It's her hope that gets in the way of that skill. However, if she forgets about being hopeful about everything, Minseo really doesn't fall for any tricks or pranks. It's funny, watching her deadpan those who try. She's really feminine- Not like she doesn't like dirt and mud and stuff, but she tends to be sensitive and has a very feminine voice when she speaks (Pfft, not as much when singing). She just exudes being a woman when she's not being an idol, in which case she exudes charisma and all that good stuff. However, she is very envious of the fame and things that others have. After she was essentially kicked out of SM, Minseo began to find that there were many things to envy. She also has the trait accidentally interrupting people. She tries not to, but she can't help but want to say the things she wants to say. They just blurt out. She does get criticized for this a lot, particularly by Netizens, but it's widely accepted it's just a thing of her's. A lot still think it's rude, though.

BACKGROUND: Choi Minseo was born a great deal of time after her elder brothers- One in 1988 and the other in 1991. Skip forward eleven years and the Choi family's surrogate, Son Gayoon, has given birth to their last, youngest, and only daughter, Choi Minseo. Her parents were too old to have kids on their own, but in the past her mother froze eggs, and they'd decided it was time to use them. Their surrogate, Son Gayoon, was only twenty-five at the time nad was in the perfect condition to have a child and thus Minseo was born on her exact due date of March 31st, 2002 at two in the morning. Her parents raised her well, but she grew up mostly without her siblings around. Minho debuted in 2008 with the KPOP boygroup SHINee when she was only six and Minseok was at college. However, since she was basically raised as an only child she was given many things- Not spoiled but enough that she became selfish and didn't like to share. She grew up close with her surrogate mom as well, and often felt like she had three parents. Who needed two brothers anyhow? That's what she said but really...She was sad that her elder brothers never seemed to care about her. They were always doing something else, and she felt unloved. Didn't Minseok Oppa and Minho Oppa like her? Was she much not good enough for them to love? The lack of contact made her nervous and soon enough she developed anxiety. Her parents and Gayoon saw how nervous she seemed all the time and felt that something wasn't quite right. Minseo was quickly diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GED) after meeting with a private psychologist. She started going to therapy twice a week even though she was only eight years old. Once her brothers heard, they made more of an effort to spend time with her thoguht it was extremely hard for Minho to get time away.
In school Minseo was considered to be very well-liked by her classmates and teachers for her cute face and interesting personality. Sure, she had a sharing problem but with gentle reminders from her teachers and aides she would end up sharing anyway. Minseo was in love with music from the time her older brother debuted, and at age eight begged her parents to let her audition for a company. It was in late 2010 that Minho convinced his company, SM Entertainment, to give her a private audition. Minseo wasn't very good at singing or dancing, and her rapping was a mess, but she was pretty enough and, well, their trending idol's sister. They accepted her in anyway, and she became a trainee at such a young age. Her school grades never were below B's and Minseo even tried playing on the girl's elementary soccer team despite her hectic schedule. She loved it a lot and had a lot of fun- She worked more and more on her anxeity, but she just couldn't control it. At age thirteen she was prescribed Buspirone, an anti-anxiety medication that she still takes to this day. At age fourteen, she was transferred to Label SJ, and started training there. In high school, she wasn't as well liked because everyone knew who her brother was and felt that she was going to use his popularity to climb to the top when she was bad at being an idol (Singing, dancing, variety, all of it). Still Minseo took it all in stride and worked hard in schoool and in training. She left the soccer team and joined the gymnastics team instead.
After being transfered to Label SJ, she improved grately. In early 2017 a show titled My Last 48 Hours aired and her older brother Minho was on it. In some of his last forty-eight hours, he visited her at the Label SJ building for a while. He cried as he spoke to her, saying, "I'm sorry for not being there while you were growing up- Look at you, you're still growing up and I'm not here for you. I dedicated more time to my job than by precious baby sister and I'm sorry. I regret leaving you to fight on your own, because you deserve better. I've failed as a big brother and I wish it didn't take me being near death to figure it out." By the time he was done, Minseo was in tears too and just hugged him, promising it wasn't his fault. Later in the interview she was asked how she would feel if her brother was actually about to die. "I'd cry a lot. I'd regret not making an effort to see him more- He's busier than I am, so shouldn't it be my job to cheer him on and make plans? I want to see him more from now on. I'll make sure I do, for your sakes." After that, Minho made a pretty great effort to get closer, especially now that his military service is getting closer. Minseo will be graduating high school really soon, and she has been accepted into Chung-Ang University in Seoul already. She plans to major in Chemical Engineering and Material Science. Minseo has yet to lose hope about her debuting- She's heard the rumors of a new group and she's almost certain that she's in the lineup.
TRAINEE YEARS: Nine years, two months
TRAINEE LIFE: Minseo spent over nine years training, and that's pretty crazy. Not many trainees make it that long, but since Minseo started training very young at SM Entertainment thanks to her brother's influence, everything changed over the years. She spent the first five years and two months of her training at SM Entertainment, and it pretty much . Intense dieting, trainers who were like likely to slap you upside the head than give you helpful criticism, getting in trouble because she was at school for most of the day and thus wasn't comitting enough time to SM...She didn't make any friends there and had a horrible time, though she told no one. She figured it would get better as she did, and didnt' put much thought into the treatment. At age fourteen, though, she was suddenly told that she was getting transfered to Label SJ- Her contract would expire in five months and they figured that she seriously didn't belong in SM. All the officials knew she was there because of Minho, and figured he couldn't complain if she went to his close friend's label. It was a good excuse to use on him, but in reality, she was being shoved there becaese they didn't want her. Minseo knew something was up when tons of other trainees that were near the end of their contracts went with her. She was in the first batch of unwanted trainees, but when her contract ended she was kindly offered to stay with Label SJ. She took the contract with determination- She would debut. At Label SJ, where before she could hardly be considered to have a simple "vocalist" position, she quickly climbed the vocal rankings. Minseo learned all kinds of things about singing and dancing, and improved even her variety sense. Soon, she was repeatedly ranked in the top three female vocal trainees, and top five out of all all Label SJ trainees. She had been working very hard to debut, because that's what she wants most. Minseo had worked hard to get as great at singing as she is. Many people are rightfully proud of her.

Bitna and Minseo are pretty close. Minseo has relied on her for years while dealing with her anxiety and trusts her mother a lot. They could be closer but isn't that almost every child and parent? They're as close as they need to be, and they're often seen out shopping together. Bitna is the secret squad mom that brings them meals and mothers the hell out of them after entering their dorm without their permission. Minseo thinks it's funny, if nothing else.

YunKyum has tried to be a good father to Minseo. He knows that he wasn't always there for his younger two and didn't want the same to happen to his third. He has tried to be kind and understanding, even if that's not what he's really good at. He encouraged her love for music and sports, even though he was hesitant about her trying to go at it while so young. He learned with Minho how had it is to live the life of an idol and sincerely hopes the best for her.

Minseok wishes he was younger and less busy so he could see Minseo before. They have an entire fourteen years between them and there was always a distance between them, thanks to it. He loves and admires his baby sister but simply doesn't have time to show it. She's done so well and he's proud of her but he just...Doesn't have time. He sends her the occasional text, but they see each other in person maybe once a year and talk every three or four months.

Minho has worked hard since that filming for My Last 48 Hours. He was grateful to go on, because he realized so many things he'd left behind while caring for others and work. Minseo loves Minho a lot, and appreciated how hard he has worked to get to know her more. While Minho dotes on her and wshares everything, Minseo still feels like there's some things she can't say to him- Or any of their family, really, but when she gets the courage together, Minho will be the first two know about her, ah, liking for Lee Nayoung. Minho knows there's things she's holding back but believes one day they'll be able to know everything about each other. Minho always texts her good night and good morning, makes an effort to go on radio or variety shows that she does, and really takes care of her in the idol world. Now all he does is brag about his baby sister's debut. (Over time will evolve to 10-10.)

Chohee, Seungah, and Minseo are the best of friends. Seriously, they're the two people Minseo is closest to in this world. The three met as SM trainees- Now Minseo is under Label SJ, Chohee is under JYP Entertainment, and Seungah has given up the idol life even though she was offered to debut to instead marry Mark Tuan (Pretending he isn't an idol) and has worked as a barista since. The three were inseperable for yeasr and are walys texting and calling each other- Their groupchat gets thousands of new messages every day. Shopping, Minseo sneaking out of the dorm late at night to go on a gfood run with them, they're seriously willing to go anything and everything together. They held a deep, special kind of love for each other.

Gayoon was Minseo's surrogate mother and carried her for nine months- Minseo is the only child she ever carried that she's still in contact with, and Gayoon loves her to pieces. The two are close, very close, and Minseo has called her "Auntie" for years now. She knows that Gayoon carried her, has her whole life, and she's very grateful that she made Minsoe's whole life possible. Gayoon goes to all of Miracle's performances and supports them by buying multiple copies of each CD- Her husband, Lee Doyoung (FC: Namgoong), is very supportive and also close to Minseo.

Ryeowook Oppa is Minseo's vocal trainer~ She likes him a lot, because it's really thanks to him that she's become such a great vocalist. She feels forever indebted to him so she's always sneaking him little presents and buying him meals even though he's the sunbae and should be buying her meals. She's sure one day he'll repay her for all the money spent on food...Right? Ahem, anyway, so Ryeowook likes her personality, and has met her before thrugh Minho. However they never did anything but exchanged greetings.

Ever since she was a child, Nayoung has always been a mother figure for people of all ages. She's a naturally maternal and warm person, one who cares for others simply because she wants to. She's the person you know you can go to for advice and a shoulder to cry on. Nayoung will do these things for you because she's responsible. She feels that she should care for her friends, family, and band. Nayoung would never push a resonsibility onto someone else (Thouhg some of this has to do with the fact that she's a total prefectionist and thinks that she's the one who should do the important things so they end up perfect. Less than perfect isn't worth it). She supports you with your dreams and wants one-hundred percent. She doesn't put anyone down, no matter how stupid or unattainable they are. hAnd when someone in the band is fighting with another? She puts herself in both of their shoes before deciding a deserving punishment. She's a fair person- No matter how emotional she is, she doesn't let it cloud her judgment and does what's best in a situation. And, trust me, she's very emotional. She's the one who cries like a baby at their first win. Little things can swish her emotions from one place to another. She can be totally happy one second, and totally pissed the next. But the thing that happens as a result of most of these emotions is crying.
Nayoung is a very confident person- And when you see and meet her, you know it. It's in her voice, her posture, the way she walks- There's no way to mistake her for anything other than confident. This girl tends to be sentimental as well. Every item she owns has some emotional connection to her. Nayoung can't help it, everything means something to her. She's also hilarious- There's no two ways about it. Her humor fits everyone- From dry and sarcastic to puns and more, she's got it all. He Su's a total dork about it, too. Seriously, a lot of her jokes are absolutely dorky- And the other part? Totally everything-else-in-the-world-depending-on-who-she's-talking-to. She's a very demanding person, though. She expects everyone to do as she says, and these demands are ridiculous. "Go clean the bathroom, then get dressed. Get my clothes and pack your and your Unnie's bag." She gives a trillion directions totally rudely and expects them to get done. She's a totally unrealistic person with that way of thinking- Not to mention that she thinks Butterfly will be as big as Girl's Generation just because they debuted. This girl is easily annoyed as well, so try not to bug her too much. When she gets angry, she isn't afraid to push or pull a little hair. She's just aggressive like that.
RELATIONSHIP: Nayoung and Minseo went to the same schools their whole lives up until Nayoung graduated last year. They're known each other this whole time and were pretty good friends. However, when Nayoung debuted in 2017, they began to distance- Not because Minseo was jealous (Well, there was a lot of that), but because Nayoung was horribly busy and had realized that, well, she had a crush Minseo, her lifelong friend. She realized this wasn't normal admiration, and the way her heart pounded wasn't because she was ill or anything- Minseo made her nervous. Embarassed and ashamed, she never said a word- In South Korea, any sort of homouality was considered to be disgusting and unnatural, and she had just debuted...She couldn't risk anything or push Minseo away. She loved her as a friend too much for that.
So for years she stayed quiet, but after Miracle debuted, she was surprised to see that Minseo was starting to flirt back. It only took until Miracle's first comeback before Nayoung was certain she was right and asked Minseo to go on a date with her- Under the pretense that they were close friends, of course. Minseo happily agreed. The idiot hadn't realized for years even though she tried to express her interest shyly, but once she turned flirting up to 100% she finally got it. Ugh. How annoying, right? After their first very discreet, very cute date, the two continued to go on dates and send cute loving texts and they just end up as such a cute little couple. Since they're both girls no one really suspects a thing and think they're just close friends. They're very skin-ship filled and Minseo even calls Nayoung, Cutie Unnie. What a weirdo--
