Que: Can step siblings get married?

My question is: Is it legal for a couple of step siblings (different biological parents) to get married?

Confused?

Here is scenario.

A's mom was newly married to B's dad. So can A & B still get married or not? If not, why? Is it because A and her mom is now already registered under B's family or something else?

Answer please. This is very important (but not my case though).

Thanks!

I'm not sure, but if for ex the girl is not adopted by her mother's husband, he is not her father in papers. Same goes for the boy, if he is not adopted by his dad's new wife, his mother is still the one who gave birth to him, the one on the birth certificate. You should ask a lawyer because this is different from country to country.
If they have one parent in common like half sibling that is not allowed anywhere

I think it depends on your culture , law , and country. In where I am its not acceptable .

It probably depends on the country. Look it up if your laws are public.
I don't think it's legal in Denmark, but I'm not sure.

Here in the Netherlands is forbidden by law. So, if the parents get legally married, the children are officially siblings of one another, therefore won't be able to marry. Adopted siblings can ask for permission, so step children might be able to fight for their case.
