So lemme tell you guys 'bout the Chinese family tree....the one's. I know ofc

So my father's side speaks Fookien which is not far from the main language in China which is Mandarin but it's still different.

My grandfather is called ANGKONG or in Mandarin 爷爷.......then my grandmother is called ahh-mahh in Mandarin, it is 奶奶.My father is 爸爸 and my mother is 妈妈.....which is quite normal.....then you have the aunts.....I only know what aunts are called in the father's side cuz my mom is Mexican-Filipino....yeah...

the eldest aunt in our household is called ah-kohh and the second is di-kohh then sa-kooh I dont know how many sisters my dad has but his youngest sibling is called my Behh-kohhh Good thing my uncles don't insist I call them by the Chinese terms like seriously A-ku.....then in Fookien Chinese 5 is gohhh which automatically means that if you have a fifth uncle in which one side of your family....he is your Go-ku....yes,it is pronounced like that character in Dragon ball.

They also have it for the siblings and cousins.....but my cousins want none of it so I'm okay with called them 'ahhh-hya' or 'ahhh-tzi' which is older sister or older brother....or someone male that is older than you or someone female that is ya know.....

For the siblings.....In Fookien there is Ahh-tzi,Dee-tzi,Sah-Tzi,See-tzi and so on....so does the brother stuff like....ahh-hya,dee-hya,sa-hya.....and in Mandarin it's the same but it doesn't end in Hya or tzi.

If the sibling is younger and is female then it will start with a number oertaining to what her age like....if she's the 5th child then she is wu-mei(五妹) then elder females end in jie(姐) in elder males it is ge(哥) in younger it is di(第).In Fookien younger females are calles shobe and males are shoti and it doesn't matter what order they were born in.....

There are more.....probably a hundred more names not metioned here.....includin what your husband's sister is called, what your wife's sister is called,what your grandchild is called and more and more and more......and probs why i couldn't remember much
