Stolen Questions for Author

1. What was your first story? When was it published? What was it about?

I can't remember when I wrote my first story. Was it when I was seven or eight? It was like a fable where the animals can talk. The king of the jungle, the lion, has died and they are in need of a new king. The main character there was a small bird (was it a hummingbird or was it a pigeon?) versus the giant animals. It's like the animal version of David and Goliath.

The first novel I finished however was when I was thirteen. I wrote it for my crush (I have a lot of crushes, don't judge me). The title was Wonderful and it gained a pretty number of reads in Wattpad.

2. What's your favorite story you've written? And what's the plotline?

My favorite story is still to be written. It's entitled The Lost Soul and I have posted only a chapter yet. The plotline revolves around a girl who aspires to be a psychiatrist in the future. At a young age, she started to read and study psychology. When she reached Senior High School, she was already well-known in her school as the "school's psychiatrist" where she meets her fellow students and help them out of their problems. There, she will meet six other students who have completely different personalities and are battling their own demons. As she struggles to help these new-found friends of her, she realizes she has began to fall into a lonely pit of darkness... and it's too late for her. (See, I already had the story mapped in my head)

3. Have you ever written for a holiday/special occasion?

No.

4. What username did you publish your first story under?

Chikret

5. How many stories do you have (published) on aff? How many are complete?

I have published three stories and none are even completed.

6. How many aren't published?

I can't count them. New stories come into my mind almost everyday.

7. What helps you think or inspires you when writing fanfiction/stories?
Even though several writing sites told me not to do this, I always base my story in my own experiences and understanding of the world. Like this one story (still about to be published by me) where a girl is learning to love herself. It's safe to say that my stories are representations of what hardships I am facing nowadays.

8. What date did you join aff?

Sept. 6, 2016

9. What was the first tag you looked up when you joined aff?
BTS

10. Who are your top three favorite authors, and why?
Since I'm new here (alright, not that new) I don't have any favorite author here in aff yet. But in real life, my top three favorite authors are Alice Sebold (author of Lovely Bones), John Green (author of Papertowns) and live-artistically (wattpad author). I like the writing style of Alice Sebold. She writes in metaphors and similes, the Lovely Bones is almost a prose. I like how John Green's characters always have a solid will behind them, and his philosophy too. Almost all his stories scream adventure. Even though some say he's being a hipster. Lastly, live-artistically's Like Hurricanes is a masterpiece. It made me cry. It tells us about teenage recklessness and the need to change. She also inspires me because she isn't American but she writes like one.

11. What is your opinion of kaistal?
SHIPPING MATERIAL

12. What type of story are you most in your element writing? Is it something you write often?
Angst and romance. I always tend to write heart-breaking stories. It may sound bad but I enjoy writing painful scenes. I tried writing fluff but I always flop on it (pun intended). Maybe because I'm bitter when it comes to love (?)

13. What type of story are you least in your element writing?
I at writing fluff. I always try to write simple stories that take on romance of characters but it's not compelling to me.

14. What is one thing you hate seeing in comments?

So far I haven't encountered one yet. (maybe something that says, please update soon, even when I just updated? But I haven't received something like this yet.)

15. What sort of author's notes do you make?
Thank you notes to those who have subscribed or commented. Sometimes I explain why the updates were delayed, sometimes I congratulate myself (and thank the readers again) when I hit a certain mark.

16. Name three things you love doing when you write/update:

1. Reaching a certain scene I was really looking forward to and finally writing the scene.

2. Letting myself flow into the story. When it feels like it's not me that's writing anymore but when it's already the voice of the characters.

3. Having and reading new comments & getting new subscribers (also getting upvotes)

17. What are you most insecure about in your writing?
I always come up with new ideas that sometimes I tend to turn those into stories, therefore neglecting the new ones. I can't put my stories into one-shots because the story are too complicated. I'm afraid I'm thinking of myself too highly and maybe I'm just an average writer. Also, I'm lazy.

18. What is your favorite band/pairing/whatever to write about? Why?
BTS BTS BTSxOC or BTSxanother girl idol. Why? Because I love them.

19. And your second favorite? Why?
My second biases are Blackpink, Seventeen and Mamamoo.

20. Name something you see in comments rather often:
Readers telling me they love my writing style (aww, thank you readers)

21. Name a story you've neglected:
There's this story entitled Queen's Gambit and it's about a girl who is a prodigy in chess. It's thriller and angst and mystery.

I still have an academic paper to write. Why am I procrastinating again?
