What are some good books you've read?

Hey guys!

So today I plan to go to the library just to pick out some books, I got some free time and I decided to be a bookworm yet idk what books to get..

I don't mind reading much of anything that's fiction at least. So mystery, thriller, suspense. fantasy, supernatural, romance but I like dark theme books. The heart string pullers lol angsty or something of the sort. But I enjoy happy endings too.

So if you've read some good books please comment below some titles and I'll be sure to check them out and even give feedback once I'm done reading if you'd like! Thanks a lot guys!

13 and a half lives of captain bluebear by walter moers is the book to read if you like crazy adventures and weird but wonderful drawings. I believe it was originally a german children's book and it definitely is 700 pages of fun.

Feed by M.T Anderson is pretty cool too. It's set in the future where there's a chip inside everyone's brains. I think it does a great job portraying how media and ads are influencing teengers. Here's the quote that made me pick it up : "We went to the moon to have fun, but the moon turned out to completely ." There's also an underlying dark theme throughout the book. It made me feels all sorts of sadness and anger. Just a warning, they say like like every other sentence.

The sun, the moon, and the stars by steven brust. It's got two stories to tell. This is the summary from goodreads: Once upon a time there was a kingdom that lived in darkness, for the sun, the moon and the stars were hidden in a box, and that box was hidden in a sow's belly, and that sow was hidden in a troll's cave, and that cave was hidden at the end of the world.
Once upon a time there was a studio of artists who feared they were doomed to obscurity, for though they worked and they worked, no one was interested in the paintings that stood in racks along their studio walls

I recommend red queen, glass sword and cruel crown by Victoria Aveyard.
Thus, if you love poem, I recommend you Lang Leav.
Also, Hyde and Jekyll is awesome too.

I seriously recommend We are the Ants by Shaun David Hutchinson and Dark Matter by Blake Crouch.

We are the Ants is a light scifi, contemporary book about this kid wondering if the world is worth saving. It deals with a lot of dark themes like depression, suicide, and bullying, but it has great humor and an LGBT cast. Hmm, if you're squeamish with gay parings, maybe this book is not for you, but I do recommend it highly if you're fine with it. It's definitely beautiful, sad, and memorable.

Dark Matter, on the other hand, is a scifi, mystery, thriller about a man who was put unconscious and he wakes up in a world where his family isn't his family, his job isn't his job, etc. I don't want to give much of the story away cuz it's so good! It's a really thought-proving and gripping book!
