► ​MinYing is a very appreciative person. She appreciates everything and everyone. She's always seen with a smile on her face saying hi to random strangers because it's just nice to have someone say hi to you. It's nice to be noticed an appreciated for what you do. She's also very caring. She will always go out of her way to help others, even if they don't need it. Even if she doesn't know you, she'll help you. It's how she was raised. Even with that, MinYing is an intelligent girl. She knows her dos from don'ts, who to trust and who not to, though she believes everyone deserves to be trusted unless actions prove other wise. Anyway, she has high scores for a school. She's good at school and she knows what she's doing. She thrives off of her intelligence and she is always craving more. Her personal motto is 'Work smarter, not harder". Minyoung is quite youthful as well. She always has this youthful glow to her (Must be all the aerials she does--). She's a normal healthy young girl.​

► Though, MinYing can be quite absentminded. She tends to doze off when she's comfortable around people. She just has this blank look on this face and you know she's gone. On the bright side, you can say whatever you want and she probably wont hear you. She never dozes off durning an important meeting or discussion. The little baby can be quite emotional as well, especially during her time of the month. She is moved by things easily and can cry with the drop of a hat. She also gets angry fast, never lasts long though. Minying is very optimistic. She's always looking on the brighter side of things and is always cheering others up with her positive mood and words. Though, her optimism can be awfully annoying when everyone feels down. She is very neutral. She gives a good honest opinion about both sides, whether it's an argument or a debate. She sees both sides equally and only chooses a side once she's heard what had happened and she rules one side as wrong. It pisses people off often though, because even if it's her friends, and her friend is wrong then she'll tell it how she sees it. 

► However, MinYing is blunt. Like, really blunt. She says whatever's on her mind. It's because she'd rather have people hear the truth than a lie, so she says what she thinks. She's a very honest girl. She can also be a bit very childish. She was spoiled as a kid so if she doesn't get what she really wants, she'll throw a fit. She also likes to play with the younger girls and showing off her flexibility to the youngers. She can act just like a child at times. It's just how she is. MinYing is also naive. She grew up shealtered so she doesn't really know much about things and that's why she depends on the older trainees to help her. She's really not used to the outside world of bad people that can hurt you, emotionally and physically. Oh dear lord, this girl is oblivious. If it's a hinted secret, someone would have to tell her because she wouldn't get it. It's also the same with feelings. If you like her, she 90% of the time wont notice. She just doesn't get those things. It's the same with dirty jokes. It takes a long explaining before she'd finally get it.

►Li MinYing was born on December 12 in 1998 in LA, California. It was accidental, but it happened so that's where her parents decided to stay. Her parents bought a house in Beverly Hills, LA and that's where her family resided. Her parents got their citizenship after. MinYing's parents were fairly wealthy, but came from poor backgrounds, so they were very humble, and that's how they taught MinYing to be. MinYing was talked to in Korean and Chinese constantly as her parents insisted she learn the languages. She did learn all right. Since she was 4, her family took yearly trips to China. MinYing was introduced to her family that lived in Beijing first, so she was taught Mandarin, naturally. When she was 6 she was taken to Hong Kong where her other relatives insisted she learn Cantonese, so she did. That's also where she got into Kpop. Her cousins were big Kpop finatics and introduced young MinYing to it. She loved it and thats when her parents decided to put MinYing in gymnastics. After that trip, Kpop would play and she would dance around the house, so why not use that energy for something else? MinYing loved it in gymnastics. It was so much fun for her. She learned how to do a lot. She became so flexible that she seemed like she had no bones at one point. After that, her father put her in martial arts. His princess was a pretty kid, she had to know how to defend herself, and now that she was in gymnastics, it was a perfect time to add martial arts. Along with those two on her plate, MinYing was able to stay on top of school and dance in her room after training. 

► At school, MinYing was popular. She was smart, and cute too. Too bad she never really had crushes on anyone growing up. She had high standards and the guys at her school in grade 6... They weren't the best. Once she hit middle school, nothing changed other than the fact she did well during sports because most of the guys helped her, on her team or not. Yeah, the girls didn't really like her during P.E. But other than that, she was friends with everyone. She was a really popular kid, thanks to her beauty. No one really minded that she liked, odd music either. They thought it was cool. In High school, she was top of her class for freshman and sophomore year. In her Junior year, she was set on being a rhythmic gymnast. It was her second option since she couldn't be her first, which was an idol after she came across F(X) one day. She was going to her normal gymnastics training when she came across an audition for JYP. She didn't tell her parents and went with one of her older friends. For her audition, MinYing danced to EXO's Mama, then she had to sing, so she paniced and sang whatever came to mind. It happened to be Miss A's 'Goodbye baby'. She was currently obsessed with the song. She thought she wouldn't make it in. She was surprised a week later when she got home from school. Her parents were waiting for her at the door with a very angry look on their faces. She was scared, more for the results than her parents. They handed her the letter, she made it in. However, MinYing was still in school, so her parents ste up a system with JYP making MinYing a seasonal trainee. (It means she only trains in the summer)

► Her first summer training, she loved it. When she came back from school, she told her friends all about her exciting experiences and who she met. Unfortunitly, now she was in her senior year, which means tests and finals. So MinYing did what she had to do. She stopped Martial arts and gymnastics for the school year to focus on her school. She had 4 ap classes so she really needed to focus. MinYing was barried in Homework, but she listened to music and got over it rather quickly. Kpop was probably the only reason she stayed sane the whole school year. Once she was done with everything and graduation came, she speant a week with her family before flying off to Korea for god knows how long.

They are quite similar so they get along well and are always touchy-feely with each other. MinYing is normally the one to hug or cling onto Hana first and Hana is quick to follow. They're a very close pair. 

– Favorite oppa :: Mark Tuan (23) / Idol-Got7 / Quiet, Shy, Cheerful / 9/10 Mark is probably her favorite person ever. Mark And MinYing always talk, but they mix Korean, Mandarin, and English when they speak so it's hard for anyone else to follow. Mark is always taking MinYing out to eat and convincing her out of horrible potential hair choices. 

–  Pabo oppa :: Jackson Wang (22) / Idol-Got7 / Loud, Funny, Caring / 8/10 Jackson is the one that cheers MinYing up when she needs it. He's really nice to her and she appreciates it a lot. He does the stupid things to make her laugh, and like mark, they're trilingual s that like to confuse others

Iseul is MinYing's roommate in Ewha University. They are really close despite the fact that MinYing can't really see her due to training. When they're together, they can move mountains. MinYing is very touchy with Iseul and she doesn't mind it. 

– Trainee Chingu :: Lee Minji (19) / Trainee / Cute, touchy, friendly / 7/10 Minji and MinYing first met when MinYing first came. She knew that MinYing would be a seasonal trainee so she helped her out. Minji showed MinYing the ropes and so their friendship began.

– Child :: Jeon Somi (15) / Idol-IoI / Quirky, sweet, playful / 10/10 Jeon Somi is MinYing's child. She absolutely loves Somi. If Somi wants something, MinYing will get it for her. MinYing babies Somi to no end and she's the only one MinYing will share snacks with. Somi is her baby

trainee life.  MinYing had a very interesting trainee life. At first, adjusting to her new life was hard. She found it difficult the first week of training and she lacked energy. After the first week, she became energized and hyper again. For the rest of that training period, it was easier. After she graduated and came back, she made friends easily. She was always working hard so her skills improved quite quickly. It started with dance. You would expect her to be more gracefull and do contemparary dances, but no, MinYing was into Hip hop and more powerful things. She could switch styles easily when it came to dance making her versatile. Then her Vocals improved. She went from not knowing ow to sing to being a lead vocal in like, 2 years. Because of that, she was asked to take on rap, so she accepted the challenge. 1 year with Markson later and she was able to be a lead rapper. Bless her friends, they helped her through her trainee life.

extra appearance. MinYing has fair pale skin for living in hot, sunny California. She's average height and slightly underweight, but it was healthy. She is nearing abs thanks to her training and dieting. Her hair is always chnaging, but it's usually down or in Chun Li style. She likes it like that. Her lips are a natural shade of darker pink and her cheeks are slightly chubby, not too much.
