What he wears are generally slightly oversized sweaters and army pants (he's just so used to them at this point he's not sure he could wear anything else). He also has a pair of hiking boots that he alway wears with everything no matter what. Yes this includes formal wear, got a problem? He bleached his hair a few weeks beore the competition because "why the heck not"

WHAT MADE YOU WANT TO AUDITION FOR THIS SHOW? [ ★ ]

// Looked interesting, plus with how popular that pop stuff is getting I figure there will be lots of people watching. I'm aiming to win the beatbox championships this year so I'll take exposure where I can get it.

DO YOU THINK YOU'LL BE ABLE TO HANDLE THE TOUGH CONDITIONS OF TRAINING? [ ★ ]

// I'll keep up fine, how hard can it really be?

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR BEST SKILL IS? [ ★ ]

// Beatboxing, definitely. I've been doing it since I was a kid. Oh, did you mean idol skills? I guess I could rap, that can't be too hard. Heck I'm probably already better than some of the idols out there just from beatboxing.

WHAT ABOUT YOUR WORST? [ ★ ]

// I'll admit that I'm not looking forward to dancing, that just looks tiring and sweaty. But hey, do what ya gotta do and all that, right?

IS THERE ANYTHING IN PARTICULAR YOU'RE WORRIED ABOUT? [ ★ ]

// Not really.

ANYTHING ELSE YOU'D LIKE TO SAY? [ ★ ]

// Check out this year's BeatBox Championship right here in Seoul! We've got some great competitors, plus I'll be there, which really is reason enough.

PERSONALITY [ ★ ] Self-Assured, Passionate, Honest, Selective, Hard-Working, Laid-Back

Self-Assured and Honest // Ha Don is someone who knows who he is and knows what he likes. He'd never be the person to put up a front to try and make more people like him, and he doesn't understand people who do. Why pretend to be anyone you aren't? If other people can't handle you as you are then they're the ones losing out. He's not exactly stubborn, but he does tend to stick by his ideals despite not pushing them onto anyone else and he occasionally ends up as an unintending roadblock for cooperation as he struggles to see why he should have to compromise. He's proud of himself and what he's accomplished and he doesn't seen a need to change anything so long as he isn't trying to change anyone else. Compromise and cooperation tend to fly over his head unless they directly relate to something he already believes in.

Passionate, Hard-Working, and Selective // Ha Don is someone who can always be counted on to do things well, provided he already wanted to do it. He's a highly passionate person, putting his all into every job and hobby no matter how insignificant it may be. He's capable of figuring out most things so long as they pertain to his interests, and he's not someone to shy away from asking for help if he needs it. He wants things done well, and if he doesn't trust himself to do so he sees no shame in admitting it. However, this dedication and attention to detail flies out the window for anything that doesn't relate back to his personal passions. Ha Don is selectively motivated in a major way, and it can be extremely frustrating for people around him to see him put his all into something pretty unimportant but then slack off when he needs to find a (non beatboxing) job to pay his rent.

Laid-Back // Ha Don has a bad case of one-track mind, as well as the mindset that you should always be enjoying yourself no matter what you're doing. Because of this he always seems to be perpetually chilled out and cheerful, even while being incredibly unhelpful. He enjoys dolling out random bits of "wisdom" pertaining to his way of life. He doesn't actively avoid conflict neccessarily, he simply chooses to ignore it when it comes and do something else instead. Why stress yourself out when you could die any day? Do what you want to do. People have pointed out the flaws in his logic, but his counter is always that he's happy where he is and they aren't. Even though really, the constant struggle to pay rent and his dead-end job don't really make him happy, but try telling him that.

BACKGROUND [ ★ ] Ha Don grew up on a small island off the coast of Korea and only a few hours outside of Seoul. However, the distance was enough for the young Ha Don to feel like he was isolated from the rest of the world. Thus he became quite curious about the tourists that often visited the island as a day trip during vacations in the capital city. He loved talking to the ones who spoke Korean, showing them around and asking about the world beyond the island. Ha Don's family was highly involved in the tourism business themselves so they never really had time to travel off the island. The one time Ha Don visited Seoul it was on a class trip when he was twelve years old. While on that trip he happened across some beatboxers on the street - and he fell in love. The first thing he did after getting home was go online and look up more beatboxing videos. He spent hours every day watching and teaching himself how to beatbox. He got a few friends involved as well and they started performing on weekends. By the time he gratuated from highschool 6 years later Ha Don was exceptionally skilled in his chosen craft, and he knew he wanted to try and make a career out of it.

However, beatboxing doesn't really pay the bills. He moved out to Seoul at 19 after a year of working as a tour guide and immediately got himself involved in the undergroup beatbox scene. It was fun, but it wasn't a job, and Ha Don found himself struggling financially despite having a part time job during the day and only having himself to pay for. He stumbled along for almost five years before throwing in the towel and deciding to enlist for his mandatory military service to give himself time to rethink his "just jump in and see what happens" plan. He didn't love the two years he spent in the military, but he also didn't hate it either. He made a few good friends and got to show off his beatboxing. Surprisingly it was here that he really learned about the beatboxing championships held in Seoul every year. He'd of course heard of it before, but he'd always assumed you had to compete to get to a championship. But turned out you just had to audition. And so when he was discharged at the age of 27, that was the first thing he did. He didn't rank his first year, but he met several other great beatboxers who swapped tips and grabbed drinks with him after the showcase. He picked up his part time job again, but with his new connections he managed to get some DJ gigs as well and was finally making some money off his true passion. He attended the championships for the next two years, and came in third in the 2016 championships.

However something that had started to bug Ha Don was the low audience turn out for the championships. He did his best to drum up interest from the customers at his job, but having the daytime bartender shift at a bar & pub mostly left him with miserably daytime drunks to converse with, and they usually weren't very interested. He thought about applying for a performance license so he could do some street performances, but the process to get one was convoluted and timely so he set it aside as a last resort. And then one day, when the pub was dead and he'd finished cleaning his area, a commercial aired on one of the TVs: JTBC presents SuperStar BootCamp. A show about idols, hosted by idols, but with 'trainees' made up of normal people. People like him. And so he went to the advertised street audition closest to his cheap litte apartment and gave his all. He'd get on TV and he'd show the nation how amazing beatboxing is. And then he'd make some damn money off of it.

FRIENDS [ ★ ]

// Best Friend, Oh Kyung Soo 34 Professional DJ Laid-Back, Cheerful, Contented, Organized Kyung Soo helps organize the championships each year Ha Don and Kyung Soo are true Bros™. They're the chill guys at the end of the bar, musing about the vastness of the universe over empty beer mugs and not noticing the bartender topping them off everytime they hit empty. They get each other in that weird platonic-soulmate type of way. Ha Don even knows Kyung Soo's wife (Kim Ma Ri) and kids [Oh Jin Wook (5) and Oh Jin Ri (7)] quite well.
// Friends, Ahn Chang Hyun 20 Student/Beatboxer Awkward, Enthusiastic, Easily Flustered, Intense Chang Hyun was an attendee at the championships and he asked for pointers after the show from anyone who would give him the time of day Ha Don has almost taken Chang Hyun as a mentee of sorts. He loves practicing with the younger man, and Chang Hyun has a definite passion for the craft that bonds the two. They don't do much outside of beatboxing, though Ha Don has promised to take Chang Hyun out drinking once he's 21.
// Coworker, Lee Mi Yun 25 Waitress Dismissive, Single-minded, Mildy amused by just about everything She tends to work the same shifts as he does Mostly playful banter, but Mi Yun actually wouldn't count Ha Don as a friend. He's just the weird guy who insists on working day shifts as a bartender. She thinks he's amusing enough though, and they do get along.

LIKES [ ★ ]

// Beatboxing
// Reptiles - he had a pet snake as a kid
// BTS. He would never tell anyone this but he liked their debut style. He's not as big a fan of their new stuff but he's glad they became successful
// Clubbing. Not for the actual club part, but when there's a good DJ playing he definitely enjoys himself
// Honestly he just really likes loud places. Don't ask why, he doesn't know either

DISLIKES [ ★ ]

// Fruity drinks. He takes his alcohol with nothing but ice, thanks
// Dancing. When he goes out he's the guy in the corner, tapping his foot but otherwise not moving.
// Super cute pop songs. They hurt his ears
// Being told that happiness takes work - that's BS (in his mind)
// The first Sunday of the month - the day rent is due

HABITS AND HOBBIES [ ★ ]

// He works out semi-regularly, but it's not something he loves doing. It's more something he does with friends.
// He likes making random trumpet noises whenever someone walks into a room
// Despite not liking mixed drinks himself he actually really enjoys his job as a bartender. He sometimes practices tricks when the pub is dead.

TRIVIA [ ★ ]

// Ha Don's default expression is a -eating grin
// Ha Don considers everyone he talks to a friend, whether they agree or not
// He's kind of a music snob and will point out when there's bad mixing in a song. No matter how popular said song is.
// Despite being teasingly compared to Yoda a lot, he's never seen Star Wars. He's just not really a sci-fi fantasy person
// Although people assume he likes rap and heavy hip hop songs, which is correct, he's also a big fan of indie artists like Eyedi and Cherry Coke
// He's had one serious relationship in his life, when he was 23. Her name was Moon Ga Hyeon and they were together for almost two years before she left him to pursue her own ambitions. It was the resulting heartbreak that led him to enlist and reevaluate his plans
// He could make more money working the night shift at the pub, and he's been offered the shift several times, but he always declines since he wants to be free to go compete or freestyle with his friends at night
// He did take a few double shifts in order to increase his savings enough to be able to pay rent for the two months the show will be going, and his boss has promised to rehire him when it's over
// He does not like talking about Ga Hyeon - he still isn't over her honestly
// He's probably a better singer than rapper honestly but singing just doesn't interest him at all. He only does what's required for his beats and even then he prefers putting raps in over vocal parts.
