How to Get Over A Bad Grade (Rant)

Okay but this is one boring (and possibly depressing) post because I have been in a really rough patch because of some stupid results and honestly, the grades aren't even that bad.

So I searched up "How to Get Over A Bad Grade" on WikiHow and I got this.

1) Let your panic pass quickly. My panic literally passed in 1 hour and it's not really the moment that matters, it's the aftermath.

2) Remind yourself that one bad grade won't break your academic career. But it WILL. The amount of grades other than A's I've ever gotten since I was in kindergarten can be counted using only both my hands. That means high expectations on me. Plus, that subject is crucial to next year.

3) Just to make sure, go over the test and recalculate your points. Erm, no. It's a government exam. Only a grade is given, and no points.

4) Carefully figure out what grades other classmates recieved. Most of them got A's. End of the story.

5) Seeking help in order to improve. I will, once school reopens.

6) Ask help from a student who did well on the test. No use. I've asked a few of my friends and they don't even know what is the correct answer. Lol

7) Consider telling your parents that you got a bad grade. My mom knows, and she has been nagging me for 1 day and 1 night (I'm exaggerating). Others think I hadn't done THAT bad, but it was a bad grade.

8) Study effectively, not neccessary longer. I often can't study for over an hour straight. And I don't really use methods to study.

9) Write out your notes using a pen and paper instead of typing them on a computer or laptop. I always use handwriten notes, but this tip is EXTREMELY useful.

10) Take a study break now and thento refresh your memory. My study breaks are longer than the time I actually study lmao

11) Take practice tests before the actual test. I did, but the ones asking the questions are ALWAYS asking for something else.

12) Try not to cram. I only cram when I miss tips by teachers lol

13) Grab a good night's sleep before the test. I always sleep well. It's actually WHEN I decide to sleep lol. But honestly it isn't even that late. Teenagers turning in at 11:30pm is actually a miracle for parents lmao

14) Have a good meal the morning of the test. I always have breakfast no matter what, so yeah.

That's all. To be honest, to most of you a B grade isn't EVEN that bad. But to me and my family and everyone else around me and knows me personally, it IS. I can never quite recover from this for an amount of time I think lol
