Physical traits: Moonsik is known for his pretty foreign appearance, and he takes a lot of pride in his looks. Moonsik is the most appearance-conscious member of Knight and doesn't hide it. He has pretty tan skin, actually, and it's probably the healthiest skin Newstar Entertainment's ever seen. He takes very good care of it with all-natural products and attention. His hair was blonde for some time but he recently went back to his n atural brown. Moonsik tends to keep his hair a bit longer than many men do, because he thinks really short hair looks pretty awful on him. It's thick and glossy and healthy, just the way he likes it. He has very oddly-shaped eyes, only almond when he starts to close them. Otherwise, they're flat at the top eyelid and round at the bottom. He has a very prominent adam's apple which he can move freely. He works out a lot so Moonsik has a six-pack and despite small-looking arms he has nice biceps. Overall Moonsik's pretty lean, and somewhat tall. His lips are thin, but a pretty petal pink.
Physical markings: He has a dent in his right eyebrow from when he was twelve and was running in his house, only to slip and slam his face into a corner. First it was an indent for an hour straight, then it swelled up twice his size and was bruised for three weeks, and then it became a permenant tiny dent in his face that is only really seen when he moves his eyebrows (Read: All the time). He has a scar on his inner right elbow from when he was nine and cooking. He reached for something across the counter and accidentally sliced it. The experience was pretty scary considering Moonsik was home alone and almost bled to death, but he doesn't mind it nowadays.
Plastic surgery: He will openly admit that he's had plastic surgery should the company allow. Why? Because he's no ashamed of what he had done to make himself feel more beautiful, not to mention how common it is nowadays. Moonsik had his nose done, though he's not too happy with the end result, the plastic surgeon messed up a bit and now his nostrils are somewhat uneven. Moonsik has also had a jaw shave, but this too was not major, very slight since he's naturally skinny anyway. He wanted both sides to be even. He's also had laminate veneers just to be save.
Other body modificationS: He's has admittedly had work done in a few places, be it plastic surgery, piercings, his tattoos, he's kinda a troublemaker in that sense. He has two tattoos, one a small flower on the inside of his left thigh and the outline of a cat on his left heel/ankle. None have a specific meaning, he simply liked them. All of them were gotten this year during his trip to the US. The flower is various shades of purple and black, while the cat is pure black. Moonsik got these done illegally, but it doesn't bother him one bit, a very small number of people know about them anyway, Knight doesn't even know. He has five piercings on his right ear and four on the left (He doesn't have the upper ear piercing on the left), and he got these through the past five years, one new pair per year, though he only got one this year.
Style: First thing's first- Moonsik always wears socks that cover his ankle/heel tattoo, you'll never find him without them. Showering? He'll wear layers of patches over it and his thigh tattoo so if anyone walks in they can't see. His stlye is very lowkey despite being absolutely fashion-obsessed. He prefers skinny jeans and designer sweaters more than anything, if I'm to be honest. He likes to look "carelessly" wonderful, though he actually puts hours of thoughts into each and every piece of clothing he buys and wears. If it's a special occasion, Moonnsik will change out of that sweater into a classy button-up. Boots, sneakers, sandals, whatever fits the style and weather. He doesn't go anywhere without basic makeup such as foundation, eyeliner, etc. He's one for few but eye-catching accessories such as these rings or hats.

Confidence is key, and Moonsik is proof of this. He's confident in his looks, personality, and abilities, yet isn't conceited in the slightest even though everyone jokes about him being so. He simply knows the truth about himself and doesn't see the point in feeling you're lacking things when the extent is small. He knows he has improving to do but he's confident he'll be able to do so. His biggest wish is that everyone could share in his confidence, and he will make it happen, that's all he wants. Moonsik never rarely brags about his talents and achievments, but he easily could and everyone knows it- That's part of his biggest charm, being confident but not showy (Unless he's on a variety show, where he's totally a show-off). He's very charismatic, both on stage on off. It's natural that he draws attention to himself, with his total confidence and air of youth. He's always got this something about him that draws everyone's eyes to him- He definitely exudes the most stage presence out of Knight, he can't help but shine, especially when dancing. His eyes hold a lit fire that few can really match (Did anyone get the pun--) and he's proud of it. He knows how to show his best sides and this is beyond captivating. Your gender or preference does not matter, he breaks it all with one charismatic wink.
He's always been a very flexible person, ignoring his physical flexibility, Moonsik is adaptive, and is up for changes in plans like no other. Variety is truly the spice of life, and things suddenly changing up is nothing less than exciting to him- It doesn't shake his strong foundation. He can easily deal with a change of plans, and cancellations are nothing. Where for many people last-minute changing can mess them all up, Moonsik not only survives these, but even thrives on such rocky conditions. He adapts to all new situations and environments- Kibum often jokes that he would have a high fitness level (Biology, if you don't know it describes the likelyhood of an organism to live were conditions to change). Part of this adaptibility comes from his alertness. Moonsik is never truly on the down-low, never truly relaxed. He's always observing and taking in the information he sees. Many people claim he's paranoid, but truthfully he's just curious and worries about others. Because of this, he's the first to know when something's wrong for off with someone because he's intuitive. He detects mood changes in an instant and is constantly aware of his surroundings.
This intuivity makes him very social, because he wants to know everything about everyone so he can help them. It's interesting, watching him interact with everyone because he seems to always know exactly what to do even when one won't admit that there is something wrong. His socialness gives him an air of youth, and he has many of the ideals of that generation. Moonsik is very interesting in that sense, he's mature to an extent, but still young enough that he fits in well. This youth makes him spontaneous- He likes to make last minute decisions and roll with them. Moonsik's a spur-of-the-moment kind of guy, he doesn't think, just does. He, much like his cousin, is extremely into fashion. He's always up-to-date with the latest trends and help out the less fashion-smart members. It's just something he loves to do. However, Moonsik has a small problem with letting things go. He's very sentimental, and everything he owns feels important to him. This of course could never stop him from being the playful soul he is. He likes to play little pranks, a few jokes here and there, some minor rough-housing, it's all in good fun, but some people are uncomfortable with how touchy-feely he gets while playing. He's quite sassy, also much like his cousin, and is quite well-known for it. He has a a whole stash of one-liners.
Moonsik is very meddlesome. He likes to get into other people's business and doesn't realze when he should out. If he sees someone falling for another, he take it upon himself to play cupid and get them together, even if he's told to leave it alone. That's the thing, he never leaves it alone. If he thinks someone's hiding something, he always investigates his suspicions wven when he shouldn't and is the queen of sticking his nose where it's not wanted. He doesn't see a problem with it, unfortunately. He's very deceptive when it comes down to it, he doesn't have a problem lying to get whatever information he needs. He doesn't mind being dishonest and easily will trick you into saying what he wanted to hear. It's a very awful habit, because he doesn't see the point in changing it. He'll tell you want you want him to say if in return he'll get to know what he wants. Moonsik learned to lie from the best, anyway, so it's not particularly easy to catch him in his web of lies, so good luck. He covers his tracks. He's easily distracted, so be warned, it takes him a lot to be focused. Luckily he's a quick learner or he'd never remember his lines or the choreography.
He doesn't like to stay in one place and it's often that he asks you to repeat things. Moonsik tends to be very reactive to situations. He's always the first to cry, the first to laugh, the first to back away, he's very open with his emotions. Moonsik's expressive when he's allowed to be, and this reactions are often at bad times. He gets angry really easily, and has total meltdowns much more often than the other members. He also tends to explode at them more for dumb things. Moonsik isn't afraid of his emotions, so he shows them loud and clear even though most of the time these days that's a bad thing. It's been years since anyone's really cracked down in Moonsik, so he's unrestrained because no one told him to act otherwise. No one had any idea what they were getting into with him, and they were quite surprised at the attitude they recieved. Truthfully, he's just jealous of all the perfect families he sees and needs to act out, even if he doesn't realize it. It's his release from all of the stress, loss, and hell he's endured through the years.

BACKGROUND
In Moonsik was born in Daegu, South Korea early in the year. Unknown to him, he was born to the woman the other woman, the one his father cheated on his wife with. His mother certainly wasn't equiped to deal with a child, and so his father admitted his affair and brough Moonsik into his wife's life. His wife- In Nayoung- was horribly upset but feel in lvo e with Soonsik at first sight and swore to be a better mother than his birth one, who has left as soon as rights were settled. Nayoung had a very tough time forgiving her husband, so for the early years of Moonsik's life, his parents' relationship was very strained. As a child, though, he was blissfully unaware of the unhappiness that loomed in his household. He was spoiled near to death and did whatever he wanted, when he wanted. In aprticular he didn't misbeheave (At least, not in public or near others) but he wasn't a perfect child either. Moonsik was always pretty low in his class score but didn't mind, sure he wasn't too good at school big deal. He enjoyed it all the same, focusing on making friends and playing with other kids.
When he was seven years old, Moonsik met his elder cousin, Kim Kibum who was fourteen year old at the time. The two immediately clicked, Kibum loving kids and Moonsik in awe at how cool his older cousin was. The two grew up very closely from then on, and Moonsik's passion in music truly stems from Kibum. Kibum was in love with the thought of being and idol, and auditioned countlesss times- He was rejected just as many, until SM Entertainment accepted him. Moonsik would sometimes go to Seoul to watch Kibum practice during the weekends and he was beyond inspired. Moonsik feel in love with dancing and he immediately began. Kibum was impressed (And frankly a little jealous) with Moonsik's natural skin and coached him when he had freetime. When Kibum debuted in 2008, Moonsik knew he had to do it too. Watching his cousin on stage was pure magic, and he wanted to make that magic himself. This, however, was the one things his parents didn't want him to do. But why? Why didn't they want that?
Moonsik didn't learn for a long time. Disappointed at the repeated "No" he got when he would plead to be allowed to audition, he instead focused on school and fashion. After meeting Kibum, fashion became something amazing to him. He suddenly started keeping track of the trends, designing his own clothes and almost obsessively reading fashion magazines. He tried to improve his grades but could never get above a B in any class. At age fourteen, he finally convinced his parents to let him audition- Their change of heart made no sense to him, but he took it without question. However, days before Moonsik got his results whether or not he got into NH Media, Newstar Entertainment, or Big Hit, his parents sat him down and told him the truth about his lineage. Moonsik was horribly upset to learn his mother wasn't his birth mother, and that his birth mother was suddenly trying to return to his life. His parents feared if he became a trainee she'd be able to find him. And so Moonsik started his tarinee life sadly, with new information he wish he'd never known. Netizens call him The SM Sponsored because it's well-known Kibum is his cousin, and many say he is only a trainee for that reason.

(Step) Mother / In Nayoung / Stay-at-home mother / 38 / Nayoung is very close to her step-son, who was raised as her birth child. She adores him as though he is her own, and will always love him as so. Moonsik loves his mother as well, however is still slightly hurt that his parents didn't tell him the truth for so long. He didn't blame Nayoung for not telling the truth, it must have been embarassing for her to get cheated on...In any case, he wants his mother by his side all the time, she's his security blanket. She dotes on him constantly, and oftentimes vists the dorms. She makes meals and dotes on the other boys as well. It's really cute. Nayong is known as the attractive KPOP mother. Father / In Ohseong / Lawyer / 41 / Ohseong and Moonsik have lost a lot of trust. Ever since Moonsik found out the truth, he felt very angry with his dad. How could you cheat on mom? Why didn't my birth mom want me? It's your fault, isn't it? Ohseong tries desperately to patch up their relationship but Moonsik just isn;t reawdy. He harbors a lot of sadness for his father has well, because he's certain the man feels guilty about it. He should, but probably not as much as he does. Maybe his bandmates can convince him to make up with his dad in the future...His father calls once a week to check on him.
Cousin and best friend / Kim Kibum / Triple threat of SHINee / 25 / Oh, Kibum. These two are shopping menaces together, seriously. They share almost identical interests, particularly in the areas of fahsion, makeup, and shopping. It's a bit horrifying to see them together on a shopping spree. Kibum was busy when they first met, but has only gotten busier since he's become more famous. Kibum was a bit wary after finding out his uncle had another kid with a different woman, but he couldn't reject Moonsik, he was already super protective of him and loved him like a brother. Though sometimes they get a little touchy on the subject of Moonsik's father, they don't let that get in the way often and check up on each other when possible. Kibum often send him advice to either keep to himelf or share with the group on being an idol, it's actually really cute. Kibum's overly fond of Moonsikand isn't afraid to tell him so. They're really close and one look can be a wbole conversation between the two. It's amazing, really. Kibum is literally Moonsik's favorite person.
Other best friend / Shin Yeseo / Lead rapper, dancer of AnyT / 20 / Yeseo is Moonsik's favorite Noona ever. She's really awesome and they often exercize together. They met at a little cafe by Moonsik's company and as they both frequent it and sit in seats nearby, it's natural that they became friends. Their friendship strengthened a lot when he found out she was an idol and he was training to be one. She gives him a lot of advice and sometimes promotes Knights&Rose on her social media. She encourages her abndmates to do the same. They become one of the legendary pairs of idol best friends, like Key and Woohyun, Taemin and Kai, etc. (APP HERE)

Persona: The Fashionista Playboy (Maknae)

Training Years: Three years
Trinee Life: Training was hard for Moonsik. He was accepted just after finding out he was the other woman's child, just weeks after he'd made it through the audition rounds. Moonsik was suffering emotionally, and he was glad that he met Choi Jinsung. It was Jinsung who was his outside source of comfort, Jinsung who listened to every teary word and worry of this child. Since then, Moonsik has felt indebted to Jinsung and it beyond happy that they're debuting together. Jinsung showed him the ropes of training and helped him out wherever he could. Moonsik had a very hard time improving his vocals- His dancing was naturally amazing, he has an innate talent for it, but his voice was horrible and since he'd just started puberty...Ugh. The pure amount of voice cracks that have happened in those trainee rooms is just sad, like Onew level constant. And of that intensity. He has spent more time working on his singing than anything, and yet has very little to show for it. His trainers believe he has an amazing hidden talent behind his voice, but it has yet to arrive and they may be losing hope. Training had exhausted and beat Moonsik down. He nearly was going to leave, he was just negotiating his trainee contract when the news came in he was wanted to debut. It was very harsh on Moonsik and he doesn't like to talk about his trainee life. He'll normally divert the question to another member.
