Awards (I only choose a few to write)

1) Best New Male Artist: NCT 127

Taeyong was crying. Awwwww. Then one member spoke in Chinese (Who? Sorry I don't stan them). The speech, overall, is moving.

2) Best New Female Artist: IOI

I don't really stan these girls, but I'm happy they won. They are disbanding next year and this award is well-deserved. I hope they don't disband and continue to rock songs. But still...sigh

3) Best Vocal Performance Solo: Crush

When the winner was announced, Crush's reaction was so cute!! He was like "what? Did they just said my name? Omg is it true?" lol. His face was priceless. Dean and Zico beside him immediately got up and hugged him. AWWWW those interactions are so cute I have no life

4) Best Male Group Dance Performance: BTS

I can't believe Jimin and Jungkook let Hoseok lead them onto the stage, and Hoseok's reaction was priceless. They are so freakin adorable omg. And according to one tweet half of the group was at the toilet when they won. They really never expected winning awww. Hoseok did the speech when Seokjin and Taehyung came running to join the others on stage. And I can't believe they didn't know what to do while recieving an award, literally everyone was doing a different gesture lmao. (I am just joking, that's why I love them lol)

5) Best Band Performance: CNBLUE

I didn't realise anything off at the first glance of the VCR probably because I was looking at my phone the time it played. But afterwards when I checked Instagram I saw the error and started laughing my head off. They misspelled Day6 as Day8!!!!!!!! *starts laughing like a maniac* Day6 who? I only know Day8! *laughs again* But anyways, Day6 didn't win, CNBLUE did. (I think Primadonnas (FTIsland's fandom) would be outraged but they didn't such a cool fandom)  

6) World Performer: Seventeen

Have you seen those cuties named Seventeen? They were shocked when they heard they won lol. And if I am not wrong Ailee cheered all the way for them. They deserved this award.

7) Song of the Year: Twice

Those girls started crying on spot when they won. Jungyeon can't even lift her head. Jihyo was crying while delivering the winning speech. I am glad there is no black ocean for them. In fact, even if I don't stan them, I like Cheer Up. I even learnt the dance to the chorus part (I am a beginner, Cheer Up is like REALLY easy). 

8) Artist of the Year: BTS (Warning: I have A LOT to talk about them)

Start from the beginning, now they're here. The first group outside Big3 groups who won this award. My mouth hang open when they announced their name. I started screaming, good thing no one was home. They were so shocked that they can't even stand up. They just crouched down in their places. They then had a group hug (I have an extreme soft spot for group hugs because AWWWWW). When they finally got on stage and Namjoon was about to start his speech, but he couldn't speak at all. And when he finally spoke again, the first word that came out from his mouth is ARMY. Awwwwwww, awwwwww, awwwwwww, awwwwwww (sorry but I'm temporarily a loss at words). And as he was thanking the others, Jin and Jungkook couldn't stop crying awwwwww awwwww awwwwww awwwww. Jungkook isn't one to cry easily but his face was wet with tears. And then Namjoon started thanking international ARMYs. "To ARMYS all over the world, let's fly with our beautiful wings as well in 2017!" At that exact point, I lost my and started crying. Apparently I was not the only one who was moved by those words because our almighty Min Yoongi broke down at that point as well. He just covered his mouth and everything went downhill. I was crying, everyone was crying, there was another group hug, I was still crying, I couldn't stop crying, they are precious, they deserve this award, they deserve the world. Period.

9) Album of the Year: EXO

To be honest, I didn't quite notice anything during EXO's speech because I was still too busy regathering and rearranging my feels (lol). I knew Jongin cried, really, you see how tough he is on stage, full with charisma, but in reality he's just a cute little Nini bear, a huge softie. Sehun did the winning speech (such precious awww), and then Yixing did his legendary Chinese speech. I was actually motivated by his speech, like I feel a fire burning in my chest, I don't really understand why people are bashing him. Every year, I am looking forward to Yixing's speech because for once I can finally understand someone without any subs, and still get everything he said. 

Others

1) MNet's ty video managements

I am personally especially upset over this. They cut a good performance in two or even three parts, and then uploaded it seperately. Like, WHY??? Seventeen and GFriend's performance is very nice (see what I did there), BAM! In two parts. BewhY and Prepix and Yiruma's stage is lit. BAM! Cut into two parts without Yiruma's intro. Got7 and Monsta X and NCT? Easy. Three parts. And the worst part. Bangtan's 10-minute performance? BAM! Into THREE parts, and EXCLUDING JUNGKOOK's INTRO. Did they know that boi got hurt because of that swing? And they dare to CUT IT OFF??? They uploaded it again with Jungkook's intro but it is still in three parts. They literally uploaded a full performance video for EXO, why can't they do the same for the others??

2) WIz Khalifa and Taeyeon's failed collab

No words needed. I am still waiting for an official explanation. Wiz and Taeyeon had said something but they are contradicting. MNet just won't open their mouth. What happened to the supposedly legendary collab? No one knows.

3) All the mistakes, ALL THE MISTAKES.

They literally mistyped Got7's Hard Carry as Monsta X's Hard Carry, and put Got7's JACSON instead of Jackson. And then they misspelled Day6 as DAY8. How in the world? Like, how? "6" isn't even next to "8" on any keyboard. If they misspell it as Day7 or even Day5, it is a little bit better than Day8. (I know, Day6 lost one member back in February so they have 5 members. I must admit Day5 is kind of relevant even if the truth hurts.)  And I don't know why this is not mentioned anywhere, but for one of the Daesang nominees VCR, they played Navillera instead of Rough as the VCR stated (now that I remember, it's the Song of the Year VCR). This wasn't that serious since it is still a GFriend song, but still it was a mistake

4) Wang Talu.

Most of the non Chinese speaking fans didn't know, but Wang Talu actually spoke something ridiculously funny during his ment. I heard the script said “MAMA的舞台是能带给各位满满初恋的回忆的平台” ("MAMA's stage is a platform that is able to bring back many memories of your first love"), but instead of that, he said "给你们带来各位，满满的大平台！“ ("Bring to you guys everyone, many big platform!") I didn't notice this at first, I only knew when the local newspaper stated this, and it's been five days, and I still can't stop laughing over "many big platform!", it sounds like some Google Translate error lmao

5) WHY BASH YIXING?!

Yixing oh Yixing. He's very excited over the fact that EXO won a Daesang again, so he spoke something like "咱们中国有一句话叫做’长江后浪推前浪‘，我希望EXO用自己的努力改写这后半句话，前浪永远站在高高的山顶上！” ("In China there's this idiom called 'time makes it inevitable for the younger generation to replace the older generation', I hope that EXO uses it's own effort to change the fate of this sentence, the older generation will be eternally standing on the top of the mountain!"). And this makes netizens angry because they thought Yixing was disrespecting all the older groups and indirectly not giving any chance for the younger groups to climb up to that position even if it's their own effort. Can netizens grow up already and stop pessing over such small things. I mean, look at adorable excited Yixing how can anyone not love him?!?!?!?
