So, I was reading something today and found out something interesting about Leeteuk. Apprarently, Leeteuk has been helping to start a support group for Idols struggling with mental illness. He's been working for years to foster a community for idols who struggle. As someone who struggles with mental illness, this means a lot to me. It’s important for people to know there’s help and understanding available for them. It breaks my heart knowing everything Leeteuk’s been through, but I’m proud he’s using his experiences to help others.

Teuk went to gyeongju geunhwa girls’ high school. the topic of his talk is “there won’t be hope if there’s no despair”

Teuk got serious depression in the army that he received treatment & even planned suicide

his father’s debt was 4-5 billion won & teuk is paying the debt

when Teuk was going back to the army (after the funeral & everything), he had thoughts if he could endure any work

but those kind of work are nothing to people who are doing to make a living. so he thought to be wise & endure it

altho he’s a celebrity, he wanted to show to people that celebrities no different from everyone else so he told his story as truthfully

Teuk called heechul & a guy (in an all girls’ school???) asked heechul to sing 나비잠 (Sweet Dream)

Hearing more about his story really breaks my heart. He went through so much while he was away. It helps knowing that the memebers were there for him in his time of need. They were pawberrers at the funeral. Normally, family are the ones to fill those positions. It proves that suju is part if Leeteuk's family.

I hope he's recovering and doing well now and that he has all the support he needs. We love you, Park Jungsu!
