I disagree, I think there is a fine line between being rude and being honest. If you know the other person is being crushed and sad by your words, then don't speak them unless they are necessary.

For example a first try of everything most likely , like a child's drawing, yet parents treat it as something special for a reason it's encouraging and supporting.
Obviously no one sees a dog or a house in the mess of lines but we pretend to do because they tried their best.
Bein "real" there is not helpful to everyone, not even for yourself

i agree.. but not many are willing to accept the reality..
