APPEARANCE :
▷He has eaarings on both ears and has tattooed 11:11 in roman numerals on his left forearm and a minimalist dreamcatcher on his right arm. He looks perpetually sleepy/sad, and his hair is always tastefully messy. He doesn't wear any outlandish clothing, and is pretty much your above average everyday guy on the outside. He's just... so  above average normal looking. You can alsways find him in some corner on his laptop with his big dj headphones plugged in working on music he never lets anyone listen to until it is "good".

PERSONALITY :

▷ patient // he has the patience of a god. He will sit and listen to everyone's problems (or so they think cuz i swear half the time he's just nods and mumbles yes), he assists those who need help, and he doesn't lose his temper at the drop of a hat. Bishop wishes he was in Royal Court with him.

▷ level headed // Damian thinks things through before he does them, or whenver someone else wants to do something dumb. It goes a little something like "Hmm. Should we go out and eat Mcdonald's breakfast at 4am? Maybe. Will this mean i have to leave my bed? Yes. Are we still going? No." He is a wise man indeed.

▷ empathetic // He's good at reading people. He can tell when something is wrong at the drop of a pin, and though he doesn't actively seek them out to comfort people, he will subtly do things to make them feel better. THe other members know that he is good at sympathizing and they often come to him to just rant or talk about random life .

▷ quiet // Damian doesn't like to speak if he doesn't need to. Something something a lot of effort, waste of air etc. etc..

▷ wallflower // he's very good at blending into the background. He doesn't actively seek out the spotlight and prefers taht it actually lands on other people. Damian very much likes being a helper behind the scenes, and though he is into the main dancer role, he likes to make up choreo and lyrics instead and would prefer to be in a teaching position.

▷ chill/independent // Damian does things at his own pace in his own way. THough this sometimes frustrates management, they really can't argue with the results as he comes up perfect with their choreography each time, or when he shows them the completed version of a song they asked him to help produce. He really does not like to be rushed, and is generally very laid back. In SEAing, he takes the rowdiness of the other members in a stride, preferring to let them "you do you". THough if they get too rowdy he sprays them with his trusty spray bottle.

▷ dry // he has a very dry nature. low key shades people and most of the time they dont even know it. Though Yoomi always seems to know and thats when she strikes.

▷ lazy // the sloth is his spirit animal. if he could stay in bed or in his pjs all day, he would do it. He convinces other people to do tasks that are assigned to him cuz he insists that they are more qualified, even though he really is just ing lazy.

▷ zones out // iunno man, he's always kinda drifitng in and out of conciousness. sometimes his groupmates arent sure if hes awake or paying attention. When he does pay attn hes very sharp, but sometimes a fly will land on his face and he wont even know it.

BACKGROUND :

▷ Damian was born in Seattle to a music teacher and a nurse. He lived an average ordinary everyday life... until the day he discovered Jay Park in middle school. He became his inspiration for learning dance, and eventually start singing. He and his friends formed a dance crew in their first year of high school and ended up competing in a state wide competition. Using choreography that had been created by Damian, their group overcame more experienced and established groups to take first place. Little did they know, a scout for JYP (haha awks cuz jay park, jyp ... yeah) was there and he was increibly impressed with the dance.  He appraoched the group and asked who made the choreo and the arrangement, to which they all pointed at Damian, who slowly slinked to the back. The scout offered him a contract to become a JYP trainee right then and there... and Damian laughed and ran away cuz he thought he was sketchy.

Turns out, he wasn't and the scout sent invites to Damian for the next two years. Damian kept rejecting the offer, saying he doesn't want to be in the spotlight, and would much rather make his own music and dances and not be shoehorned into an idol lifestyle. However, his friends eventually convinced him that in order to be a well known producer and choreographer, being an idol would grant him the experience and recognition that could help put him in a good spot for the future. At the age of 16 and with the blessinig of his parents, Damian left to become a JYP trainee.

While at JYP, Damian grew close with future Got& member Mark since they were both from Murica and regularly spoke english to each other. Another laid back and chill person, they bounced chroeography ideas off each otehr and Damian tested his music on Mark, one of the few people he let listen to his music before it was complete. He also regularly made fun of the fact that Damian would go crazy if anyone ever touched his computer, and dubbed it "his precious". Damian also became close with Nayeon, who was incredibly outgoing. Everyone wondered why they were such good friends as Nayeon would try to drag Damian to see the outside world, while he struggled to stay in his little cave.  Dear Nabongs, while not the smartest, was certainly one of the most feisty and loyal friends that Damian had. He met Jeon Somi around this time as well. The bright, energetic young girl was the spawn of satan. She bugged him to no end.  She was one of the few people who was autally able to test his patience, but he loved her like a little sister and he would do anyhting for her albeit with a lot of grumbling. . After a few years of training, JYP announced the lineup for GOT7. While Damian consitently scored high marks for every category of dance and vocals, he lacked what JYP called "star power" and was ultimately left off the group. Mark was pissed, and he almost quit when he heard this as he knew how hard Damian had worked, but Damian told him it was aight and he'll just move on and try again. To Mark's and Nayeon's sadness, Damian chose to leave JYP and move on to LEMON.

While training at LEMON, Damian met Taehwan and Yujin, who would quickly become his confidants and bros. Yujin was similair to Damian in that they were both quiet, peaceful individuals. Taehwan on the other hand, made it his life's mission to get Damian a girl. Little did they both know, Damian already met his love of life...

Anyways, Damian was in line to become the main dancer of Royal Court. Inf act, He was going to be picked over member Ilsun. However, Ilsun, fearing this outcome and knowing of Damian's attachment to his laptop, hid it while Damian took one of his many naps before the final evaluation. When he awoke, he panicked since he couldn't find his beloved, and even skipped the final evaluation just to look for his computer. Because of this, Damian was removed from the final lineup and Ilsun became a member instead. Now, Damian is not a violent person. He wouldn't hurt a fly, mostly cuz its too hard to chase one. He didn't really care that he as removed from ROyal Court. What he really cared about, was the fact that Ilsun took his precious.  Ilsun had not only touched his precious, but he went so far as to smudge the screen. That's nono. So yes, Damian tend s to react violently when he sees Ilsun's face. But life continued on for him. He practiced hard, worked on his music, took more nap, and patiently waited for the day that he would debut.

▷ he guest teaches choreo at 1million, and since he has ties with them, once Lemon Ent firgures that out  they are looking into having some people choreograph some songs for them similiar to how JYP uses them.
▷ has a love hate relationship with manager Yoomi. He will make a dry sarcastic comment at her, she will attack him, he will dodge the attack, someone else will get hit instead, she panics, he pces out, rinse wash and repeat. However she truly respects his ability to control s even though he is not the official leader, and he thinks its cute how she tries to deny her love for Sejin and subtly helps put her in positions to be with him alone.
▷ he's had a girlfriend for 2 years that no-one knows about.
▷ Damian has a deep attachment to his laptop. He puts all his work into his laptop, his music, his dance practices, everything. He uses it to basically organize his life, all his goals and hard work. (boy needs to learn to back up). He can't live without his agenda otherwise he will feel lost and panic. THis is why he lost his over Ilsun taking his computer and hiding it.

TRAINEE LIFE

 

YEARS OF TRAINING : 5 years (3 years at JYP, 2 years at Lemon)

TRAINEE EXPERIENCE :

▷ Damian was relatively well liked by his fellow trainees. He didn't show off, never accepted being a favorite and always helped others out. He never wanted to be the main star, so tbh noone ever truly felt threatened by him. Hell, the instructors are always on his cuz he seems like he lags behind other people in practice, but when they call him out, he just gets up, does his thing and leaves them amazed but then he just goes bak to his regular, kinda zoned out self and everyone loses interest. He really only focused on singing, dancing, and in his spare time he worked with producers on random music bits here and there. Management picked him as the least likely trainee to get into trouble since he's kinda always just there... and doesn't go out of his way to do anything else. He left JYP after he didnt get picked for GOT7 (they felt he didnt have the idol personality), and transferred to LEMON... where he kinda just continued on with his life doing the same old.

SCHOOL LIFE :

▷ Damian didn't consider school to be that big of a deal. He got average marks and was able to maintain them throughout his trainee period. He didn't even consider doing the college entrance exams when his senior year rolled around. School was jsut another part of life for him, and he was very meh about it.

CURRENT LIFESTYLE :

▷ Damian lives at the dorm with some fellow trainees and he isn't really ever there except if he is asleep. Noone ever really knows where he goes or what he gets up to, but since he doesn't attract much attention anyways, and he is always on time for practice, management lets it slide.

Though they are polar opposites, Damian is close with his father. THey have a tight knit family, and he fully supported Damian in whatever he wanted to do.

Damian inherited most of his traits from her. They are tight, and she also whole heartedly supported Damian's decision to go to korea.


FRIENDS :

They got tight real fast. Being fellow english speakers, they talked all the time and since he was also a dancer, they bounced choreography ideas off each other and worked on stunts. Also, they turn into slightly boyish when they are together. Mark is one of the few people Damian really trusts, and knows about his secret girlfriend.

oh nabongs... sometimes Damian doesn't know what to do with her. Loyal to a fault and extremely insistent that Damian should see sunlight sometime, she is the one that gets the boys into shenanigans with her ill thought out plans when they were all trainees. She nearly burned down the dorm room kitchen while trying to cook dinner once for the boys. Noone knows why they are such good friends, but you know, some people just click.She also knows about his gf.

ah, the giant devil spawn. They met when she was a wee little runt in training, but she quickly took a liking to Damian after he taught her a few dance moves. As such, she decided it was her lifes mission to be the bratty little sister that damian never had. She is one of the few people who can get under his skin, but she does so out of love. Damian will throw himself in front of a bus for this child cuz he's her favorite oppa and he dotes on her when he thinks noone is looking.

he insists on playing wingman and finding a girl for Damian. He feels like Damian should go out and have fun, rather then just sleep all the time. Damian always complains to him about how Aurora's musical style fits him most and he joined Lemon too late to try out for Aurora.

they were friends when training together for Royal Court. THey have similair personalities os they clicked, though Bishop is much more ambitious then Damian is. he was upset that Damian did not get into Royal Court cuz now he's stuck with a bunch of spazzes.

THE GROUP:

▷ overall, the group respects his opinion and voice even if he is not the leader. He is down to earth, listens to them, and hasn't given them any advice that gotten them landed in jail yet. He has that normal feeling that just grounds people when he is around, and he has the ability to get people to listen to him when he actually gets involved,

Damian is the only person in the group that can really stand her. He actually talks to her regularly, and in return she isn't that y to him. He actually cares for her and worries that she is gonna end up hated by people. She respects his opinion and he is one person who she will slightly listen to.

Damian hates him with a vengeance. Not because he lost him his chance to be in Royal Court, thats not important. He touched his laptop. and hid it. and SMUDGED THE SCREEN. Unforgivable. If he has the chance h will punch him in the face. Literally only person that Damian will lose it over.
