SHINee 1of1 era turned out pretty much exactly as prophesied: 

The boys were adorable, funny, witty and very sweet, won 4 trophies the first week, no trophies second week because of BTS and in the end the promotion was cut short since no more trophies were to be expected. 

Some army members were really nice and supportive and Taemin and Jimin as well as Minho and Taehyung were quite adorably fond of each other on stage and backstage in the music shows.

And then there were of course bragging army members who were trying to start fan wars (to no avail) and those who left Busan festival after BTS stage, ignoring and disrespecting Infinite and SHINee who came afterwards (which made me really angry. But then again, there was a full block of Shawols fiercely waving their light-saber Shabats and fan-chanting on point)

And today BTS got the award of the Korean ministry of culture and sports.

SHINee however received the prime minister award for their achievements and what is equally important: Minho was one of the MCs for the ceremony.

BTS are undeniably very successful and appreciated for it.

And SHINee are still successful and appreciated for it but moreover they are respected and treasured by their country and trusted to represent it not just as an idol-group but also as ambassadors. That's something btw that especially Minho does incredibly well. He's one of the first choices wherever high profile political officials are involved, because he's not just handsome but also well-mannered and charming.

SHINee, like I said, rocked the noble suits better (i.m.o.) than BTS, some of whom looked a bit uncomfortable in their gala outfits.

(and Taemin although gorgeous of course looked like he just wanted go home like he usually does at award ceremonies ^^)

So Shawols don't be sad or disappointed that 1of1 wasn't as successful as it might have deserved to be. And as someone said on Twitter once "in the beginning I always wanted SHINee to be at the top ... now I only want them to be together" ... and happy.

And with a tiny bit of spitefulness I saw that IOI winning against BTS on show champion yesterday. ^^
