Same here. My mom play better than me . I think you can learn from youtube and some books. My mom learn from books

You can learn the guitar without a teacher! What I did was I tried learning a few beginner songs and after you get used to it you can learn harder ones!

Get some beginner books :) or get a teacher....or both! I had lessons for nearly three years. Good luck!!
