~AFF~

1. First fic you have ever read on AFF

   I honestly can't remember.  But I can guarantee it was something with Chanyeol as a main.

2. Favorite AFF author and favorite Korean idol that has inspired you

   Taelighted will always be my favorite AFF author.  As for favorite idol who's inspired me, ummm...bruh, dis too hard.  But honestly probably this cutie right here:

3. All time favorite fic

   Okay, this is predictable af, but probably Running With Wolves.  I found it at around the tenth chapter update and was obsessed, and then taelighted and I became friends in the comments section.  Also I feel kind of like the godmother of it??  Like it's Alicja's baby, but we discussed RWW-verse plot and characters so much that I became invested, and now I feel like I'd get custody of it -- if it were a real baby and something happened to Alicja, lol.  Plus also I'm rather fond of Shortest Way Home.  I beta'd it, and if you squint there's a lot of me in there in between Alicja's genius :)

4. Who was your ultimate bias when you joined AFF and who is it now

   It was Chanyeol.  Honestly I don't even know who my ultimate is anymore??????  But my blog is hella Vernon.

5. Is there a friend you have made on AFF through a fic

   SO MANY.  Taelighted/Alicja is my bestie.  A few other good friends I've made are, in no particular order, Elsewherewandering, vexedstars (previously headinthebooks101), ilikestars, fs1919, and PalmerPie.

6. Two fics that you're currently hooked on

   I've been away from AFF for a minute.  So currently not reading anything and very very behind on fics I was enjoying.  That being said, hit me up if there's anything I need to be reading.

7. Which fic that you have authored is YOUR favorite, and if you're not an author is there a fic that you are looking forward to being released

   I honestly like and am proud of all my fics, so I don't know.  Perhaps I am most proud of You Look So Precious (With Your Bloody Nose), mostly because I really pushed myself on that one and it was rewarding to complete it, so that may be my favorite that's actually published.  Buuuut I have a TON of WIPs that I'm really looking forward to.  It's just hard to pick one to work on exclusively.

8.  Favorite AU to read

   Crack, werewolf!AUs (though good ones are few and far between), and anything really really gritty.  Like hmu if you got anything that's written in a tone similar to Daredevil, Jessica Jones, or Luke Cage.  I live for grit.

9. Are you a commenter or a silent reader

   Depends.  Probably more of a silent reader, though.

10. In your opinion, should AFF/Kpop life be kept separate from your daily public life

   I don't care what you do.  Like you do you, man.  Personally I...don't give a crap?  Everybody knows I love kpop, and I am totally unapologetic about it.  But I know a lot of people who prefer to keep their kpop love under wraps, and that's cool.

~FALL~

1. Favorite fall movie

   I like them all!  But I'm always down for Addams Family Values, man.  Always.  There was this meme going around Facebook recently, and it was like "describe yourself using three fictional characters" or something to that effect.  If I did that, Wednesday Addams would definitely be one fictional character I'd choose.  I have a very, very macabre sense of humor.  I was probably minted in hell.

2. Favorite fall scent

   All...of...them?  I definitely do have a preference for cider anything, though?  And chai.

3. Favorite Thanksgiving/fall food & fall food you don't like

    Well, I eat sweet potato dishes (and just plain sweet potatoes) all year round, so no changes there.  But we do tend to eat more pork, sweet potatoes and turnip greens during the cool(ish) months, which makes me happy.  Seriously, my mom fries the best pork chops; it's sooooo good with baked sweet potatoes and a big pot of fresh turnip greens (the latter of which is usually from our garden).  I also really like things like beef stew, gumbo, potato soup, and this thing my mom makes where she layers cabbage wedges (or fresh green beans), conecuh sausage and potato chunks in the crock pot.  Yummmm.  And for Thanksgiving, my dad cuts up a turkey into strips and deep fries it.  It's always a little spicy, flavorful and juicy, and everyone who tries it loves it, especially the kids who don't like turkey hahaha.  And yes, as you can see, there is no food I don't like.  I'm Southern.  Food is a big part of our culture.

Edit: I forgot about satsumas.  They're small, sweet citrus fruits.  Kinda similar to mandarin oranges but wayyy better.  You can peel them in one go and they're seedless, too.  They're actually more of a late fall/winter kind of fruit, but idgaf tbh.  I LOVE them.  One year on Thanksgiving my uncle brought us a big sack of some they grew.  They were amazing.  I ate two every night.

4. Favorite Halloween outfit you dressed up as

   I've never dressed up for Halloween, actually!  I always come up with good ideas, though.

5.  Favorite fall hobby

   I don't have any hobbies that are exclusively for fall-time?  But it's football season and there are so many nice teas to drink :)

6. Favorite coffee (or just plain drink) you like in the fall

   Look, dawg.  I am chai trash, you hear me?  Give me that chai latte, bruh.  I also drink LOTS of chai tea (with crème brûlée coffee creamer!) and ginger tea (with crème brûlée coffee creamer because it tastes like a frosted gingerbread cookie!) and yo, Starbucks has the best chili mocha ever.  It tastes just like my Mexican chocolate cupcakes, which are pretty much my favorite cupcakes.

7. Favorite clothing item to wear in the fall

   Weeeeee don't really have fall here.  But if we were to have an actual fall, I'd be wearing beanies and scarves.  Oh!  I do have some cute oxfords I wear in fall, though, since it's usually too warm for boots, and I have a non-flannel plaid shirt I wear a lot.  Also this isn't a clothing item, but I like my makeup to reflect the season, so I wear warmer blushes and /berry-toned lipsticks.

8. Favorite fall-oriented color

   All of them.  I prefer deep, warm colors, which is fall's favorite palette.  Burnt oranges, burnt sienna, and warm-toned mauves are colors I wear a lot of, but I wear plum, cranberry, and wine colors (i.e. what I like to call "berry tones") in equal measure.  Interestingly enough, these are all colors that are really flattering on me, which is always a good thing!

9. Favorite fall-oriented weather

   I like it when the cloudless sky is such a deep blue that it's almost mesmerizing to gaze at.  And I adore anytime it actually feels cool or breezy.

10. Something you want to buy that comes out this year during fall

  I can't think of anything right now.
