AFF Tag

1. First fic you have ever read on AFF

To be quite honest, it was probably some EXO/OC oneshot. The one I truly remember, after which I made an AFF account was another oneshot - XiuHun by thetwistedstar called Position and Positioning. It still is one of my favorites, I think :) 

2. Favorite AFF author and favorite Korean idol that has inspired you

I'm gonna go with Korekrypta - Deer Luhan, With Love and On Ebb were the first really well-written stories I came across and I instantly fell in love with her style. I'm also gonna add ohchen and taelighted  Also Mariam-Ejaz because she literally beat me into writing fanfics, so I guess I owe a lot of my inspiration to her :D jk, I really think she's a good writer h erself as well :) 

Idols: EXO in general - they're the only ones I have honestly written about - for some reason, Sehun and Baekhyun are VERY easy for me to write about - they end up in literally ANY fanfic I try my hand at. Oh and VIXX's Leo <3 

3. All time favorite fic

Oh, this is a difficult question... there are  so many really amazing fics out there, its unfair to narrow it down to a few. Em... okay, I'm gonna go with The Dream Team by ohchen and The Blood Brother Code by Korekrypta... actually, also The Blood Sister because its awesome. Running with the Wolves  by taelighted I guess... then there's a ton of oneshots I read on a daily basis and I don't even remember all of them O_O muse by noeragodestiny and The Perfect Imperfection by jessie101, In the Darkness, I will find you by Mariam-Ejaz, Wounded Pride by ShiningRose, Making an Error by Koni_Fox, Love Me Right by weirdhybrid... okay and the list could go on and on... also, I assumed I had to stick to AFF for this, right? Because otherwise, the list might be entirely different. I dunno, I don't wanna pick favorites T__T

4. Who was your ultimate bias when you joined AFF and who is it now

Yixing was and is still my ultimate bias :) but of course, now there is Leo as well... and Chen and Xiumin and Hongbin haha :) no but really, Yixing is my bias :3

5. Is there a friend you have made on AFF through a fic

yes, actuallly  - more than one and I am really grateful for their friendship :) I love sharing my ideas with them and I love hearing from them whenever :) 

6. Two fics that you're currently hooked on

Hmmm. I haven't read Blood Sister in a while, so I was thinking of catching up on that... maybe On Ebb as well. The fics I am REALLY looking forward to, though, haven't been updated in a while (The Dream Team, In the Darkness, I will find you, i can never relax by creschendos) 

7. Which fic that you have authored is YOUR favorite, and if you're not an author is there a fic that you are looking forward to being released

Well, I think I did pretty well with You who came from the Stars and its sequels - I am quite enjoying writing it and I think I have developed as a writer throughout... but i'm gonna go with Bite Me because... well, it highlights my good points which are writing crack, humor and crazy characters :) 

8.  Favorite AU to read

I dunno, I read a lot of aus... um, I always love anything in soulmate!, hybrid!, a/b/o!, fantasy, adventure, actoin, angst, hurt/comfort, friends to lovers, comedy and fluff... oh and things that end happilly.

9. Are you a commenter or a silent reader

I'm not the most profilic commenter but I try to leave something behind if I enjoy a story, especiallly on AFF. No promises on LJ or AO3 or DW :) 

10. In your opinion, should AFF/Kpop life be kept separate from your daily public life

Depends on the kind of people around you, I think. If you're friends with a kpoper in real life, its not that big a deal if your aff life mingles with it, right? I don't go around announcing I listen to kpop because frankly, my preferences and what I do in spare time are my business but if anyone asks, I don't hide it. I think it shouldn't take over your life so that it starts interfering or determining everything you're doing but if you're balancing it - like any good hobby, really - with your public life and its not getting negatively effected, i guess that's okay. Also, the temptation to write 'functional impariment' is too great - don't wanna sound like a psychologist but really, it all depends on whether this side of your life is causing impairiment in any of the important functional areas of your life, you need to pay attention to that.  

FALL Tag

1. Favorite fall movie

Hm... I got nostalgic reading about Castle in the Sky - it is indeed a classic and my own favorite from studio ghiblli, though I honestly love anything they produce. I don't really have any specific fall themed movie in mind but really, anything creepy is okay with me since i have an unhealthy taste for horror movies? Eh, A Nightmare on Elm Street? Babadook? Honestly,,. I'm bad with release dates and stuff, so I'm gonna go with horror themed movies or animated films. Hotel Transylvania 2, Paranorman, Coraline, Monster House... yes, I have an addiction to cartoons/animated films as well. The Conjuring, both parts, The Grudge hehe... Another and Higurashi and Psycho Pass because I love anime :D 

2. Favorite fall scent

Freshly made Tea, the scent in the air when its about to rain? 

3. Favorite Thanksgiving/fall food & fall food you don't like

I don't know if it counts as fall food exclusively but I'm gonna go with a chocolate brownie with a cup of tea. Its really comforting for me. 

Foods I don't like - anything too spicy because it kills the taste and my tongue can't take it. 

4. Favorite Halloween outfit you dressed up as

It wasn't for Halloween per se but I really like the vampire make-up I did on myself. Also, I made my sister into this really wicked ghoul and I think she had fun scaring people. Oh and when I dressed as the Avatar (again, not for halloween)

5.  Favorite fall hobby

Reading, writing and drawing - in that order

6. Favorite coffee (or just plain drink) you like in the fall

Just regular tea for me :)

7. Favorite clothing item to wear in the fall

Cosy, one-size-big cardigan and the leather boots I bought - I am so itching to try them <3

8. Favorite fall-oriented color

Orange, rust and maple leaf maroon/red

9. Favorite fall-oriented weather

Kind of cloudy but not raining... or soft sunlight. 

10. Something you want to buy that comes out this year during fall

Don't really have anything in mind, tbh. I'd love to buy something from Stephen King if I get the chance, or add to my Agatha Christie collection - been a while since I did book shopping but nothing in particular.
