Well, there's this friend of mine. He's a good singer and a swimmer for the school and everyone admires him. And he's single. Recently, I've become his barber and I feel like we're getting closer? Prom is in May and tickets are selling in March, and I really want to ask him to be my date for prom. But I'm shy as in reality compared to my online personality and not to mention I'm an ugly potato. I want to ask him over text but then I'd feel like he'll say something like "I'm sorry but..." and then say whatever he has to say. He's the type of guy that doesn't hurt other people's feelings and I think he might decline me in a nice way or just not reply at all and pretend he didn't see the text. Ugh what am I saying? The first quarter hasn't even passed yet and I'm already thinking about it. But then again, my friends were planning on going as a group anyway cuz we single as . 

Should I ask him though? It's my senior year and I don't want to regret anything.
